Team Tutus Hilir retains Salui Lukut challenge trophy for third consecutive year at Kaul Mukah 2025

MUKAH (April 28): Team Tutus Hilir's Salui Lukut Cahaya Kenyalang has won the Salui Lukut competition champions category at Kaul Mukah 2025.
Gerak Pahlawan secured second place, while Sadiq Sigaraga finished third.
Consolation prizes went to Salui Lukut Mukah Sakti, Hari-hari, and Joe King.
A Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) report said Team Tutus Hilir received the Salui Lukut Kaul Mukah Challenge Trophy, introduced in 2017, which it has retained for the third consecutive year.
In 2023, the team won with Salui Lukut Agro Kenyalang, followed by Salui Lukut Bunga Emas in 2024, and this year Cahaya Kenyalang.
Kaul Mukah 2025 event coordinator councillor Ardyman Matan presented the prize for the champions category.
In the hopefuls category, Salui Lukut Ekan Moha emerged victorious, followed by Press Metal and Sri Kelaup in second and third place.
Salui Lukut Puteri Danau 1, Booster 1, and Putera Dalat received consolation prizes.
Melanau Mukah Association treasurer Pengiran Saifudzin Pengiran Mahtar presented the prizes for the hopefuls category.
This year's Salui Lukut competition attracted 192 participants, consisting of enthusiasts and practitioners of Salui Lukut.
