Former Haryana Dy CM visits Amara Raja Industries
Tirupati: Haryana former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Singh Chautala on Monday visited Amara Raja Group's industrial units, located in Tirupati and Chittoor. He was accompanied by Chairman and Managing Director of Amara Raja Group Galla Jayadev. As part of his visit, Chautala participated in a green initiative conducted within the plant premises and planted saplings, promoting environmental sustainability. Speaking on the occasion, Dushyant Singh Chautala said, 'Amara Raja Group is a symbol of Indian business intelligence and technological innovation. Their commitment to environmental protection, quality standards, and social development is truly commendable.' Later, Chautala visited Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple in Kanipakam. The temple priests welcomed him with Vedic blessings and offered Teertha Prasadam as a token of divine grace.

Suriya sports traditional naamam on forehead as he visits Tirupati with Jyotika, children Diya, Dev. Watch
Actor couple Suriya and Jyotika were spotted in the Tirupati temple on Monday morning after their darshan. Their children, Diya and Dev, also accompanied them, with the family dressing in traditional clothing for their visit. Pictures and videos of the family soon found their way online and are doing the rounds on social media. Suriya was spotted with Jyotija, Diya and Dev in Tirupati on Monday morning. In one video, Suriya can be seen dressed in a traditional gold-hued outfit and a naamam (tilak) on his forehead as he walks out of the temple with his family after the darshan. He folds his hands and smiles after spotting fans. Jyotika, who is walking behind him, also smiles at the fans. In another video, Suriya can be seen walking while holding prasadam in his hand. The temple authorities accompany him and Jyotika to the press waiting outside the temple. The actor couple also pose for a few pictures together with the temple authorities before making their way outside. Suriya and his family took part in the special Seva during the Naivedyam break and received blessings and Teertha Prasadam from the temple priests. Recent work Suriya was most recently seen in Siva's 2024 film Kanguva, in which he played dual roles as a bounty hunter and a warrior from the past after the 2022 Pandiraj-directed Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The film failed to make a mark and earned ₹106.25 crore worldwide, according to Sacnilk. This year, he starred in Kartik Subbaraj's Retro. While the gangster drama received better reviews than Kanguva, it made ₹96.97 crore worldwide. Suriya is now shooting for RJ Balaji's Karuppu and a yet-to-be-titled film by Venky Atluri. Jyotika made a strong run recently with the 2023 Malayalam film Kaathal—The Core, the 2024 Hindi films Shaitaan and Srikanth, and the Netflix web series Dabba Cartel, which was released this year. She is now shooting a film for Prime Video directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Spl CS worships Veerabhadra Swamy
Lepakshi: Special Chief Secretary for Tourism and Culture Ajay Jain accompanied by Sri Sathya Sai District Collector T S Chetan, visited the revered Sri Veerabhadra Swamy temple in Lepakshi. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by temple priests amid chanting of Vedic hymns. During the visit, Ajay Jain and Collector Chetan performed special prayers and participated in a ceremonial Archana. The priests offered them Teertha Prasadam, Vedic blessings and mementoes to mark the occasion. A temple guide explained the historical and architectural significance of the ancient shrine. Tehsildar Soujanya Lakshmi, tourism manager Pratap Reddy and other officials were also present during the visit.

MLA Vijayudu Offers Special Prayers at Sri Jogulamba and Bala Brahmeshwara Temples on Auspicious Ashada Friday
Gadwal: On the occasion of the last Friday of the holy month of Ashada, Alampur MLA Vijayudu visited the renowned Sri Jogulamba and Sri Bala Brahmeshwara Swamy temples in Alampur and offered prayers to the deities. The visit drew the attention of devotees and temple authorities as it coincided with the special Shakambari Devi Alankaram being performed for Goddess Jogulamba, a highly revered form of the Goddess during this auspicious period. Upon arrival at the temple, the MLA was warmly welcomed by temple authorities and priests with traditional temple honors. As part of the ceremonial proceedings, he participated in special pujas and rituals dedicated to Goddess Jogulamba and Lord Bala Brahmeshwara Swamy. The priests performed rituals according to temple traditions and later honored the MLA with Sesha Vastram (holy cloth) and offered him Teertha Prasadam as blessings from the deities. In a gesture of devotion and goodwill, MLA Vijayudu also distributed prasadam to the devotees present at the temple premises, sharing the spiritual blessings of the occasion with the general public. The event saw the participation of BRS party leaders, local activists, and devotees, who accompanied the MLA during the darshan and rituals. The visit highlighted the MLA's continued spiritual connection with the ancient temples of Alampur and his engagement with the local religious and cultural activities of the constituency. The Jogulamba temple, one of the Ashta Dasha Shakti Peethas in the country, holds immense religious significance, especially during Ashada Fridays when thousands of devotees flock to receive divine blessings.

Sakambhari Devi Mahotsavam to begin today at Patha Sivalayam
The historic Sri Bhramaramba Malleswara Swamy Temple, popularly known as Patha Sivalayam, at Old Town in Vijayawada will host the Sri Sakambhari Devi Mahotsavam from July 8-10 as part of its annual tradition rooted in deep spiritual and agricultural significance. In a release on Monday, the temple Chairperson Bommu Madhu said that the festivities will commence on Tuesday at 8 a.m. with Maha Ganapati Puja, Punyahavachanam, Akhanda Deeparadhana, Mandapa Puja, Kalasha Sthapana, and distribution of Teertha Prasadam. In the evening at 6.30 p.m., Panchaharatulu, Chaturveda Swasti recitations, and Mandapa Puja will be performed, he said. On Wednesday morning, rituals include Durga Suktam Parayanam and Lalita Sahasranama Archana, followed by Mandapa Puja and Teertha Prasadam. In the evening, Panchaharatulu, Vedic blessings, and sacred offerings will be performed. The concluding day includes Chandi Sapta Shati Homam, Rudra Homam, and Poornaahuti. Kalasha Uddvasana and Aashirvachanam (blessings) will follow, marking the completion of the Mahotsavam, he said.
