BRS Working President KT Rama Rao celebrates Telangana Formation Day with NRIs
Texas [USA], June 2 (ANI): Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President KT Rama Rao celebrated the Telangana Formation Day and the silver jubilee of the party with NRIs at the Dr Pepper Arena in Dallas in Texas, USA. Sharing an X post, KTR said, 'A large number of Telangana NRIs, party leaders, MLAs, former ministers, former MLAs, and public representatives participated.' Addressing the event, Rao said, 'June 2nd, a 60-year dream comes true! The day when decades of ambitions, hopes, aspirations, dreams came true!' He added that it is Telangana's style to make the impossible possible and that the state has made many things possible that were thought to be impossible. 'Telangana has emerged as a leading state in no time, surpassing the big states that have been established for decades,' KTR said. The Telangana MLA, during his speech, lauded the Indian Armed Forces for avenging the terror attack on tourists at Pahalgam. He added, 'Our Slogan is 'Jai Telangana', but when we are outside the state, we are Telugus, and when we are out of the country, we are all proud Indians.' Earlier, KT Rama Rao was in London, where he participated in India Week 2025, an international forum organised by Bridge India. He delivered the keynote address on Friday, highlighting Telangana's governance model during the nine-year BRS tenure, focusing on innovation-driven development and inclusive growth. He also informed that the theme of his talk at the India Week Conference was 'Why Telangana Matters'. Meanwhile, BRS MLC and Rao's sister K Kavitha celebrated by hoisting the national flag and Telangana Jagruthi's flag at the newly inaugurated Telangana Jagruthi Office. Telangana celebrates its 11th Formation Day. The state was officially formed on 2 June 2014. Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), now Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), chief K Chandrashekar Rao was elected as the state's first Chief Minister, following elections in which the party secured a majority. Addressing the annual Business Summit 2025 of the CII in New Delhi on Friday, the CM called for deeper collaboration in innovation, infrastructure, and inclusive growth. 'Entrepreneurs generate wealth, and with it, we can implement impactful welfare programs,' he said. Recalling the CII Partnership Summit held in Hyderabad, 'it brought immense visibility and investment. I seek your support to bring investments to Andhra Pradesh.' The CM emphasized that industrialists can trust his leadership, stating, 'CBN is a tested Brand with a proven track record.' He urged them to leverage this credibility to grow their businesses in AP.' 'The economic reforms initiated by former PM PV Narasimha Rao changed India forever. Today, many of the world's top achievers are Indians and about 30% of them are Telugus. India is poised to serve the global community for centuries to come. The world is moving forward rapidly with developments in AI, quantum computing. If real-time data can be harnessed effectively, India, with its pool of outstanding entrepreneurs, can lead this revolution,' Naidu said.

Mini Mahanadu a grand success at Fremont in US
Vijayawada: The Mini Mahanadu-2025 organised at Fremont in California in the United States making the 102nd birth anniversary of TDP founder, legendary NT Rama Rao, is a resounding success. The event organised by NRI TDP leader Srikant Doddapaneni had begun at 7 pm on Wednesday at Bheemavaram Ruchulu Banquet Hall in the Bay Area of Fremont. It was conducted in a 'never before-ever after' way and rich tributes are paid to late NT Rama Rao. TDP MPs from both the Telugu States, Ministers, MLAs and party senior leaders along with BRS leaders from Telangana virtually attended the event. TUDA chairman Diwakar Reddy, TDP politburo member Nakka Ananda Babu along with several party senior leaders attended the event virtually. Party leader Jayaram Kumati expressed happiness over large scale attendance by TDP leaders for the programme. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who closely followed the footsteps of late NTR, has encouraged IT industry following which Telugus are now holding high positions in the sector across the globe, he said. All those who are present made it clear that they will follow the directions of Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, and that they will try their best for the progress of Navya Andhra.

NTR lauded for elevating stature of Telugus
Vijayawada: Vice-Chancellor of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences Dr Chandrasekhar lauded the invaluable contribution of the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao in elevating the stature of Telugus globally. On the occasion of the 102nd birth anniversary of the revered leader, Dr Chandrasekhar paid floral tributes to NTR's statue on the university campus in Vijayawada. He emphasised that NTR's services to the Telugu community would be remembered for generations to come. Dr Chandrasekhar highlighted NTR's foundational role in developing the education sector in undivided Andhra Pradesh. The six resolutions — 'Na Telugu Kutumbham' (My Telugu Family), 'Karyakarthe Adhinetha' (party worker is supreme), 'Pedhala Sevalo' (social re-engineering), 'Stree Shakti' (women empowerment), 'Annadhathaku Andaga' (support system for farmers), and 'Yuvagalam' (voice of youth) — are aimed at positioning Telugus as the number one community in the world, Naidu said. "TDP founder NT Rama Rao launched the party with great ideals. According to him, the society is a temple and the people are God. The party has weathered many a crisis since its inception but has always committed itself for the betterment of the society and Telugu people against all odds. Today, we have come to a stage where we have to do politics with criminals. Hence, we should always remain extremely cautious," he said. Stating that party workers are always supreme in TDP, he asserted that time has come for the party to think the way forward and the six resolutions being deliberated upon will eventually lay a roadmap and guide the party for the next 40 years. The CM also introduced the 'Yoga-Andhra' resolution at the Mahanadu. "Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to observe International Yoga Day in a big way across the country on June 21. Earlier, in an apparent signal to the anointment of IT and HRD minister Nara Lokesh to the top post in the party, a resolution was passed to infuse fresh flood into the party by giving priority to the younger generation to further consolidate the party's footprint. "With changing socio-political dynamics, the time is ripe to infuse fresh blood into the party. There is a need to further strengthen youth representation in party committees and key positions," the resolution said.
