Texas A&M Softball is a top consensus top-three team following an undefeated week

Texas A&M Softball is a top consensus top-three team following an undefeated week The Texas A&M softball team went 3-0 during the week, culminating in a series victory over the Georgia Bulldogs at Jack Turner Stadium during the weekend. Texas A&M's softball team made waves with their stellar performance this week, kicking things off with a commanding run-rule victory over Prairie View A&M. They then headed to Athens, Georgia, to face the Bulldogs in a competitive conference series. Weather concerns led to a doubleheader on Saturday, where the Aggies dominated Game 1 with an 8-0 run-rule win. In Game 2, after facing some adversity, they made a strong comeback to secure a 12-5 victory. Unfortunately, the weather and TV scheduling prevented the teams from completing the series, but A&M took home their third conference series win. The dynamic trio of Mya Perez, Allie Enright, and KK Dement was unstoppable, contributing a staggering 10 hits, 16 RBIs, and 5 home runs over the weekend. Dement's grand slam in Game 1 was a standout moment, setting the tone for a decisive victory. The Aggies demonstrated incredible teamwork and adaptability, with players stepping up to fill the void when needed. Texas A&M continues to prove their resilience and talent, solidifying their position as a formidable team in the conference. All major softball polls have the Aggies in the Top 5 after two mid-week run-rule victories and sweeping LMU last week. Texas A&M will open the series against LSU on April 11 at 6:00 pm. CT. The game will be available to stream on SEC Network+. Contact/Follow us @AggiesWire on X and like our page on Facebook to follow ongoing coverage of Texas A&M news, notes and opinions.
