Rapper Tory Lanez who shot Megan Thee Stallion ‘stabbed 14 times' in attack by inmate while serving 10 years in prison

He is now breathing on his own.' According to the post, 'Despite being in pain, he is talking normally, in good spirits, and deeply thankful to God that he is pulling through.' The rapper was reportedly attacked at a housing unit at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi at about 7:20 a.m. Pedro Calderon Michel, spokesman for the state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, said staff did what they could to help Lanez and called 911, before he was rushed to an outside hospital. Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting of fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in July of 2020. He was found guilty of assault and two gun charges at trial in December 2022. The post quickly caught the attention of Lanez's loyal fanbase, who flooded her comment section with '#FreeTory' messages, seemingly welcoming her as an unexpected supporter of the embattled artist. The post also reignited tensions between fans of Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion, given their highly publicized legal battle. Some Instagram users criticized Kardashian's song choice, with one writing, 'This is a wild song choice.' That single comment alone sparked a wave of backlash, fueling an intense debate.
