DAY6 Makes History with Record-Breaking Concerts at Goyang Stadium for 10th Anniversary Tour

Day 6 All Roads Lead to Goyang: The Tour That Breaks Records You know a party is special when it begins at a place no one's played before. DAY6 isn't just going on tour-they're making history as the first Korean band ever to headline Goyang Stadium, with back-to-back concerts on August 30 and 31, 2025. This isn't your typical K-pop stopover. Goyang Stadium holds legendary status, and DAY6 opening their 10th-anniversary world tour here proves just how far the group-and Korean band culture-has come. Expect energy of a summer festival, starlit skies, and My Days singing every line. When these concerts wrap, the band takes the celebration global: Bangkok (Sept. 27), Ho Chi Minh (Oct. 18), Hong Kong (Jan. 17, 2026), Manila (Jan. 24), and Kuala Lumpur (Jan. 31). And that's just the start-bonus dates will drop soon, so international fans, keep your eyes wide open. Why a "Decade" Hits Harder Than a Chart-Topper It's not every day a band makes it 10 years-especially in K-pop, where the spotlight moves fast. DAY6, debuting in 2015, turned sincerity and live music into a movement. Through every heartbreak lyric, arena encore, and midnight V-Live, they built something more than catchy hooks: a generation-defining community rooted in real emotion and resilience. Just this May, they proved their drawing power again by gathering an audience of 96,000 across 6 gigs at Seoul's KSPO Dome-numbers that rival any idol group in the industry. Anniversaries in K-pop aren't just dates; they're communal memories: the scream in your throat during "You Were Beautiful," the DMs flying between My Day after "Zombie," or getting a group together for a night drive soundtrack. DAY6's 10th can be summed up by the stadium lights: it's a checkpoint for what fandom means-a reminder that honest lyrics and power chords still rule. From "Entropy" to "The Decade": The Album Fans Have Begged For What's a world tour without new tunes? On September 5, DAY6 drops their fourth full album, "The Decade", ending a nearly six-year LP drought. It's not just an album-it's a band diary. Previous full album "The Book of Us: Entropy" (2019) set the emotional bar high, but "The Decade" promises a new layer: four people who weathered the industry's storms, military hiatus, and solo experiments, all to reunite and deliver a sound only ten years together can create. Early teasers point to "The Decade" fusing classic emotional balladry, rock riffs, and introspective lyrics. This release is expected to blend nostalgia with growth, giving both day-one fans and newcomers a trip across the whole DAY6 soundscape. The anticipation? Off the charts.

Day6 to mark decade-long career with concert, album

Day6 shared its plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its debut via a video clip on Monday. It is planning to roll out fourth full album 'The Decade' on Sept. 5 after hosting a live show of the same title at Goyang Sports Complex in Gyeonggi Province on Aug. 30-31. The group will be the first-ever Korean guitar band to hold a standalone concert at the venue. This marks another historic step for the quartet which has been pushing the envelope for a Korean band taking over major concert venues in Korea: Inspire Arena, Gocheok Sky Dome and KSPO Dome. Its May gig at the last venue, concluding an international tour, drew 96,000 fans combined through six shows. The LP will follow a year after its ninth EP 'Band Aid' and close to six years since its previous LP 'The Book of US: Entropy.'
