Actor Rohit Basfore, known for acting in the upcoming series 'The Family Man 3', was found dead at the Garbhanga Waterfalls near Guwahati on Sunday, April 27, afternoon. Officials from the Rani Police Outpost said the incident occurred around 2 pm. Basfore had gone for a picnic with nine of his colleagues when he reportedly fell into the waterfall.
An official source from the Rani Police Outpost said, "We received the report around 4 pm and reached the spot by 4:30 pm. The SDRF team later recovered the body around 6:30 pm." Initial investigations suggest that Basfore accidentally fell into the waterfall. Police said no foul play has been suspected so far. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is underway.
However, the family has alleged foul play in the entire incident. The family claims that he was taken to a remote location where his phone was switched off at 12 noon and also informs that the actor didn't know swimming.
