More acts announced for Depot Live at Cardiff Castle 2025
The new additions include Stone Foundation, The Florentinas, The Lilacs, and Sophie Grey. The Florentinas will kick off the summer season at the castle, sharing the stage with Snow Patrol on Thursday, June 12. Later, The Lilacs and Sophie Grey will perform alongside Sting on Saturday, June 28. Stone Foundation will open for Tom Jones on his sold-out show on Wednesday, August 20, and will be back for his second show on Thursday, August 21. Tickets are available at and Stone Foundation, an eight-piece band known for their blend of soul and funk, has been active for 25 years with four consecutive UK Top 40 albums. The Florentinas, an indie rock band formed in 2019, have gained recognition for their catchy sound. They won BBC Introducing Artist of the Year in 2023 and have supported artists like Nothing But Thieves, The Amazons, and Stereophonics. The Lilacs, an indie-pop band, have accumulated millions of Spotify streams and have been featured on BBC Radio 1 and Radio X. Sophie Grey, a classically trained musician, is known for her blend of live instrumentation and electronic sounds. Headlining the sessions this year are Will Smith, Tom Jones, The Huma League, James, Fontaines DC, Elbow, Sting, The Script, Jess Glynne and UB40. Depot Live at Cardiff Castle is presented by promoters DEPOT Live and Cuffe and Taylor, with TK Maxx as the presenting partner. This partnership is part of a three-year agreement covering shows across the UK.
