Last chance for Tom Jones tickets at Cardiff Castle this week

Sir Tom Jones is currently touring the UK with some massive venues on his list, but his final stops are in Wales. The iconic star will be playing some homecoming concerts at Bute Park in Cardiff later this year. The 84 year old Welsh legend will be hitting Cardiff Castle's park on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, and Thursday, August 21, 2025 - just before the country's final bank holiday weekend. Here, he'll undoubtedly perform some of his greatest hits spanning the decades, including Sexbomb, What's New Pussycat?, She's A Lady, It's Not Unusual and many more. Tickets for these performances were initially released earlier this year, but many were snapped up in record time. Consequently, numerous fans have turned to resale platforms to secure their tickets instead, with many currently available on viagogo. These tickets give fans the chance to buy last-minute tickets just days before the shows kick off. Here's the breakdown. Viagogo and resale tickets Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs. Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused. How to buy Tom Jones tickets now Tom Jones tickets are available now. The below list of ticket sellers features various websites, encompassing both resale and official retailers. This list include the likes of viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Ticketmaster. On top of being able to buy and sell tickets on a whim, fans can search for tickets in their budget, while also ensuring they grab the seats or standing tickets they desire. At the time of writing, some tickets are being sold for significantly less than £150 each. Here are the links for Tom Jones resale tickets: STUBHUB - Buy Tom Jones tickets now. However, it's always worth checking to see what options are available. Here's the link: Tom Jones himself has expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming concerts. Tom Jones remarked: "I love Cardiff and am really looking forward to playing in this beautiful park. The three shows I played at the castle in 2023 were absolutely fantastic, and I'm sure this will be the same - a great summer evening for everyone."

Sir Tom Jones' comeback show leaves audience in tears as he makes epic stage return

The Welsh singer, 85, who was forced to cancel a show in Germany earlier this month due to health issues, headlined Camp Bestival in Dorset Sir Tom Jones has delivered another stunning performance, just weeks after being forced to cancel a gig. The legendary singer left audiences in tears whilst belting out his catalogue of beloved hits. ‌ Festival-goers at Camp Bestival in Dorset described the Welsh headliner's voice as 'phenomenal' and 'incredible' as he brought the curtain down on the 2025 festival. The triumphant show comes just weeks after Jones fell poorly and was forced to pull out of a German concert. ‌ On July 22 the Welsh crooner announced on social media that he wouldn't be able to take to the stage in the German city of Bremen due to illness. It comes after pictures emerged of inside Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's luxurious £30k family holiday at 'second home'. ‌ However, he bounced back with a cracking performance in Dundee at the Discovery Festival, and Cardiff is set to welcome him later this month at Cardiff Castle. ‌ Camp Bestival organisers revealed that "there wasn't a dry eye in the house" as Sir Tom took to the stage on the final evening of the event. They commented: "The incredible @realsirtomjones closed the Castle Stage last night, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. What a legend. Thank you Sir Tom for a very memorable end to the weekend," reports Wales Online. Tom is scheduled to appear at Cardiff Castle on August 20 and August 21. The duo of Cardiff Castle concerts arrive just two years after Tom graced the same venue with three performances. During his visit, he addressed the audience saying: "I would like to say it feels great to be home. Oh yes!" before diving into songs from his 2021 album Surrounded By Time and timeless hits like It's Not Unusual and What's New Pussycat? Last month, Tom had to cancel his gig after falling ill. He shared in a statement: "Hello to all the fans in Bremen. Unfortunately, I must postpone my show this evening, as I've contracted an upper respiratory infection that needs treatment and rest. "I know this is really disappointing and will cause inconvenience to you all, and I'm very sorry about that. But the show will now go ahead on Monday 28th July, so I look forward to seeing you then. All tickets will remain valid for the re-scheduled date. Until then, thank you for your understanding. Love, Tom."

Tom Jones leaves festival audience in tears following health battle

The Welsh singer has had audiences welling up after he was forced to cancel a gig last month due to health issues. Sir Tom Jones has had audiences blubbering into their pints as he returned to the stage after a health scare which ended in the cancellation of a show in Germany at the end of last month. Audiences at Camp Bestival in Dorset, where the singer played last Sunday, August 3, described the headliner's voice as 'phenomenal' and 'incredible'. ‌ The rave performance came just a few weeks after Jones was taken ill and had to cancel a show in Germany. On July 22 the Welsh singer made the announcement on social media that he would not be able to perform in the German city of Bremen due to health issues, reports Wales Online. ‌ In a statement, he said: "Hello to all the fans in Bremen. Unfortunately, I must postpone my show this evening, as I've contracted an upper respiratory infection that needs treatment and rest. ‌ "I know this is really disappointing and will cause inconvenience to you all, and I'm very sorry about that. But the show will now go ahead on Monday 28th July, so I look forward to seeing you then. All tickets will remain valid for the re-scheduled date. "Until then, thank you for your understanding. Love, Tom." But he was back on form for the rescheduled show, as well as a gig in Dundee at the Discovery Festival, and Cardiff is also due to welcome him later in August at Cardiff Castle. ‌ Organisers of Camp Bestival shared that "there wasn't a dry eye in the house" as Sir Tom performed on the last night of the event last weekend. They said: "The incredible @realsirtomjones closed the Castle Stage last night, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. What a legend. Thank you Sir Tom for a very memorable end to the weekend." ‌ And the Welsh icon's recent cancellation in Germany was not the first time the Delilah singer has cancelled a gig. Back in 2018, Sir Tom was forced to cancel of a string of shows after ending up with a bacterial infection, aged 78 at the time. ‌ A statement at the time read: "Sir Tom has a bacterial infection for which he is being treated in hospital. The condition is being well managed and under doctors' orders, appropriate recovery time and rest is advised." Opening up on his health last year, Tom Jones said he was feeling fit and healthy as ever, despite being in his eighties. Expressing how grateful he is for his incredible voice to remain intact, he said: "Well, thank God my voice is still working. I am 83 years old. I mean I can't believe it, but it is true. "When I am singing I am like, 'How the hell is this coming out of me?' Honestly. If the voice was not there I am sure I would be going 'Urgh, I don't want to do so many shows' but I love it as the voice is still working!" Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
