Esther Liu and Simon Lien announce marriage and baby
11 Jun - Esther Liu surprised many recently when she announced her marriage to former SpeXial member, Simon Lien, adding that they are also expecting their first child.
The Taiwanese singer-actress posted several photos of her and Simon on Instagram, including one of them showing off their matching rings, and wrote, "Thank you Simon, thank you our child, thank you the world for giving me the ordinary and extraordinary."
"Please bless us with a protective heart," she added.
Meanwhile, Simon posted, "Thank you for embracing me, this very introverted man, with your laughter that can be heard from over a kilometre away. I truly believe our baby will be just like you, someone whose smile can make the whole world feel brighter (and will also have your love for good food)."
"From now on, I will love you and our baby with all my heart. We will be so happy, and I sincerely want to share this joy with everyone! Thank you all."
When asked about it, Esther's manager confirmed the good news, saying that the actress is now more than three months pregnant and that the two actually started dating after working together on TVBS' "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly".
