Esther Liu and Simon Lien announce marriage and baby
The Taiwanese singer-actress posted several photos of her and Simon on Instagram, including one of them showing off their matching rings, and wrote, "Thank you Simon, thank you our child, thank you the world for giving me the ordinary and extraordinary."
"Please bless us with a protective heart," she added.
Meanwhile, Simon posted, "Thank you for embracing me, this very introverted man, with your laughter that can be heard from over a kilometre away. I truly believe our baby will be just like you, someone whose smile can make the whole world feel brighter (and will also have your love for good food)."
"From now on, I will love you and our baby with all my heart. We will be so happy, and I sincerely want to share this joy with everyone! Thank you all."
When asked about it, Esther's manager confirmed the good news, saying that the actress is now more than three months pregnant and that the two actually started dating after working together on TVBS' "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly".

Club Attempts Record for 'World's Largest Tamagotchi Wedding' as More Than 100 Digital Pets Wed in Ceremony
The Toronto Tamagotchi Club aimed to "make history" with its latest meet-up, and is submitting the results to Guinness World RecordsNEED TO KNOW A club in Toronto, devoted to the appreciation of Tamagotchis, attempted to set a world record for Tamagotchi marriages over the weekend The Toronto Tamagotchi Club announced the event a month before, and more than 100 Tamagotchis ended up getting married in one sitting on Sunday, Aug. 10 'Growing up into an adult, where this community has kind of become more niche, it's been harder to find people who have them," one attendee said of such fan eventsI now pronounce you... Tamagotchi and Tamagotchi! Dozens of Tamagotchi fans and collectors met up in Toronto on Sunday, Aug. 10, to witness and take part in what was touted as the "World's Largest Tamagotchi Wedding" — where more than 100 digital pets tied the knot. Toronto Tamagotchi Club first announced the mass digital pet wedding last month, revealing on Instagram that its members were angling for a Guinness World Record. While it's not yet clear if the strong showing of digital love did in fact break any records — Guinness did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for confirmation on Monday, Aug. 11 — the wedding event drew an impressive 180 people to the Cecil Community Centre in Toronto, according to Toronto Today. "What is a Tamagotchi wedding? Imagine a mass marriage, Tama style," the club wrote on Instagram. "Tama characters can get married to other devices in-game. Let's celebrate love and friendship in our community, and find your Tamagotchi character a mate IRL! Marry your Tamagotchi and make history, or come party to celebrate gotchi luv!" According to the Tamagotchi Wiki, while the toys were first made available in 1996, iterations of the digital pets introduced since 2004 have the ability to get hitched. There are multiple ways for Tamagotchis to tie the knot, including through interlocking two devices. Twoey Gray, the club's founder, told Toronto Today that the goal of Sunday's event was to make a 'mark on history," with no preexisting records on the books for Tamagotchi nuptials. Gray confirmed to the outlet that more than 100 digital pets got married during the ceremony, which kicked off around 1 p.m. local time. While the club still has to submit to Guinness World Records, the effort was certainly there. Organizers set up cards around the venue to direct Tamagotchi owners to those with a similar-model digital pet, making it easier to find a perfect match, according to Toronto Today. When that happens, the characters appear on each other's screens with confetti and hearts, prompting a new digital pet to be hatched from an egg. 'When I was 8, you'd be on the playground and there would be other kids that had them and you could match them together. But growing up into an adult, where this community has kind of become more niche, it's been harder to find people who have them," attendee Holden Levack told Toronto Today of connecting with other Tamagotchi fans. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Twoey first launched the group in 2022, telling Toronto Today that there's "something very equalizing about this game." Fellow Tamagotchi lovers seem to agree, as photos shared by the club on Sunday showed people packed into the venue, posing with pets and signing wedding cards. Some fans even brought giant congratulatory signage, wore wedding dresses of their own, and documented the fireworks that went down when their digital pets sealed their unions. Jennifer Lopez Suffers Super Creepy 'Wardrobe Malfunction' on Stage (& Handles It Like a Pro)
Jennifer Lopez has been performing for nearly three decades, which makes her the ultimate professional in any situation…including when a creepy, crawly bug jumps onto you mid-performance. The footage, which was first reported on by People, shows the 56-year-old 'Get Right' singer performing a set in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on Aug. 10, as part of her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour. While busting out her biggest hits, an icky cricket crawled up her black cut-out top, making its way from her legs up to her neck (a true nightmare, by the way). Lopez, however, wasn't phased, as she grabbed the cricket and tossed it to the side of the stage without missing a beat. Afterwards, she told the crowd, "It was tickling me," laughing in the process. The singer's official fan account posted the video once Lopez's concert ended with the caption, 'Plot twist: @JLo just started rehearsals for Kiss of the Cricket Woman… on stage… in real time.' In the video, you can see the singer starting to serenade the crowd as the creepy crawly climbs up to her neck. Her fans were in awe at how calm she remained throughout the ordeal. 'You are such a professional, Jen, but I almost screamed when I saw it was going to your neck!' wrote one of those fans. 'I would have fainted at that moment………YOU'RE A MOTHER, JENNIFER!' added another. And my personal favorite, 'That's a lucky cricket.' Ethan Miller/Staff/Getty Images The 'Kiss of the Cricket Woman' reference is, of course, a nod to Lopez's upcoming adaptation of Argentinian Manuel Puig's 1976 novel of the same title, which is a musical that tells the story Valentín (Diego Luna), a political prisoner, who shares a cell with Molina (Tonatiuh), a window dresser convicted of public indecency. The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna (Jennifer Lopez). The film is set to be released on October 10. Here's hoping that Lopez doesn't encounter any more critters on stage until then! Want all the latest entertainment news sent right to your inbox? Click here. Being Pregnant at the Same Time as Rihanna (Twice) Is the Ultimate Pregnancy Style Cheat Code
Forever a fun fact about me: I've been pregnant 100% of the time as my personal style icon Rihanna. My own bump was just starting to swell with my second child when Rihanna revealed she was pregnant with her third ahead of this year's Met Gala in May. Sitting on the couch in my living room—half-groggy from nausea medicine—I could hardly believe it wasn't a mirage. I was officially going to endure a second pregnancy with Rihanna, who has redefined how women dress and could now hold my hand again as I navigated the queasiest and most uncomfortable months of my life. For years, I've asked myself a simple question when caught in a fashion bind: What would Rihanna wear? The prompt has never spit out a disappointing result, and I'm guilty of copying Riri's looks, sometimes head-to-toe, for everything from dinners out to my college graduation. And while worshipping Rihanna as a fashion god isn't exactly novel, the universe has seen my piety and blessed me with something exceedingly rarer: two concurrent pregnancies with Rihanna at Coachella, circa 2012. Talking about Rihanna without sounding like I'm doing a Mean Girls impression is impossible. I mean, I dyed my hair red because Rihanna's scarlet turned up on the cover of Vogue. That's only the beginning: I wore studded shorts, creepers, rushed to the store to get a nude bodysuit, a Lakers jersey accessorized with red wine, and a Nike tracksuit for a transcontinental flight all because Rihanna did it first. I can look back at the most important events in my life and see Rihanna's influence plainly. For my college graduation, I searched out the perfect white skirt-suit and Chanel brooches and wore nothing underneath the jacket the same way Rihanna did while out shopping in Paris in 2013. Little did that young woman in the white suit understand how important Rihanna's style would become, though. While emulating the Bad Gal's aesthetic was once about a single-minded pursuit of good fashion, clothes take on an entirely new meaning in pregnancy. My body changed in a flash and within a few months of both pregnancies massive sections of my wardrobe seemed off limits to me for an endless list of reasons: pants became uncomfortable, a shirt no longer slid easily over my growing stomach, and dresses made me look like I was smuggling a bowling ball. (Sorry, just a baby). Most pregnancy style advice suggests finding skin-tight dresses that seem to suggest I just keep dressing as if nothing has changed, or to shamefully hide everything away underneath a muumuu. (Rihanna, meanwhile, prefers Miu Miu.) Marc Piasecki A Bad Gal Riri-inspired college graduation look. A month and some change after giving birth to my son, I had never been away from him for more than a few minutes, but I left for the first time to drive across Los Angeles and interview Rihanna at an Ulta. She was nearly at the end of her pregnancy with her first son RZA and was still finding ways to make her stomach the star. We bonded briefly over new motherhood and I complimented the chains draped like glittery string lights over her belly. 'Belly chain extended, girl,' she advised. I held onto that hot tip until my current pregnancy. Three years later, I've made the extended body chain a staple of my pregnancy look, a style that feels emblematic of Rihanna's whole approach to pregnancy style. Pre-Rih, it felt like I should be packing my belly away rather than making it the star of the show. The Bad Gal's guide to pregnancy style prescribes dressing the tummy up with golden chains, pulling a shirt up and out of the way to give people a good view, and using sheer to maximum effect.
