Kangana Ranaut has been quite open about her political journey, and in her recent interview, the actress opened up about managing menstrual hygiene both during film shoots and while travelling extensively as a Member of Parliament. While comparing her life as a politician to that of an actress, she shared that a politician faces even more problems. While talking to Hauterrfly's The Male Feminist, when Kangana Ranaut was asked how she maintains menstrual hygiene outdoors, the actress shared, 'There are so many problems in India. Shooting is a very luxurious place. There are vans for actresses. You can change the pads (sanitary napkins) as much as you want. You can take a shower. They heat up mineral water for you." 'The way I am now, in this political line, we travel for 12 hours a day. There is no place where women can go to the toilet. This is a problem for other MPs too. It's a very big problem. What can you say about it? It's a catastrophe. It's not possible to manage it," Kangana added. After the meeting at his office cabin, he came to see me off at the gate, and this was after I got married. And the strange thing was that we talked about this in the meeting also.' 'He asked me how it was going and what my husband did, and it was just us speaking inside his cabin because he had a big office. So, when I came to the door to say bye, he leaned towards me trying to kiss, and I had to push him back. I was startled and asked him what he was doing, and I just walked off.' Suvreen recalled. She expressed how women often face body shaming which makes them feel insecure and question their worth. While speaking to RJ Siddharth Kannan, Suvreen had said, 'Women in the industry are often judged unfairly and made to feel low about themselves because of how they look.'
