Cheapest places for pints in the UK revealed – with some pubs serving £2 beer
WITH the average price of a pint in the UK costing £5.17, knowing the locations of cheaper spots is handy. However, new research has crowned the Welsh city of Wrexham as the cheapest place in the UK for beer, averaging at just £2. 2 The study was conducted by to Alliance Online, who looked at the prices of a pint of beer across cities and towns in the UK. One recent visited said in a review: "A lovely little bar/pub with great atmosphere and a fantastic choice in beers, ciders and spirits. "A definite stop for anyone who likes a good tipple."
