Creepy Crawlies on Your Lids: The Truth About Demodex Mites
Remember the spine-chilling creatures from Stranger Things, The Mist, or A Quiet Place? What if we told you that something just as unsettling might be living right on your eyelids — not your eyelashes, but the skin around them? Sounds gross, right? But it's true. Demodex mites — microscopic, eight-legged intruders that make your eyelids their home. So what exactly are they, and should you be worried? Experts break it down for CE. 'Demodex mites, often called 'eye bugs,' are microscopic parasites that inhabit the sebaceous glands and hair follicles of the eyelids,' explains Dr Bhanu Prakash, senior consultant, cataract, cornea, and refractive surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City. 'Though they're a natural part of the skin's ecosystem, problems begin when their population grows out of control, leading to a condition known as Demodex blepharitis,' says Dr Bhanu. According to Dr Deepti Mehta, senior ophthalmologist at CARE Hospitals, Hitec City, 'These mites feed on dead skin cells and oils around the lashes, which can result in symptoms like redness, itching, watering, a gritty sensation, and crust formation at the lash base. Left untreated, the condition can lead to blocked oil glands, misdirected lashes, eyelash loss, severe dry eyes, and even ulcers on the eye surface.' Dr Bhanu further warns, 'In severe cases, untreated infestations can cause permanent scarring or even vision loss, especially in people with underlying skin conditions like rosacea.'

The Gilded Age drops season 3 teaser and release date
The Gilded Age Season 3 has released a sneak preview of their next series due out in June where viewers follow the trials and tribulations of old money v's the new in 1880s' Manhattan high society. Created by Julian Fellowes, the creator behind Downton Abbey, the cast of the six-time Emmy nominated show includes The White Lotus 3's Carrie Coon, The Mist's Morgan Spector, Sex and the City' s Cynthia Nixon and The Good Fight's Christine Baranski. Season 2 of The Gilded Age saw Marian Brook calling off her engagement to Dashiell all while sharing a romantic kiss with Larry Russell, marking the start of a new relationship. Elsewhere, Ada Brook unexpectedly inherited a fortune from her late husband, overturning the power dynamics in the Van Rhijn household and diminishing Agnes's control. Meanwhile, Bertha Russell's new Metropolitan Opera opened in direct competition with the Academy of Music, signaling her growing dominance in New York society, while Peggy Scott left her job at the New York Globe to pursue her writing independently. The much-loved show has been nominated for six Emmys, including Outstanding Drama Series and acting nods for Carrie Coon and Christine Baranski.

Recently, Reddit user Whitino asked about movie plots that made people angry, and people had lots of opinions on fury-inducing films. Here are some movies that made people legitimately angry.* We also used responses from this Reddit thread. 1. The Game "Ah yes, we, the family of a man who watched his father die by suicide at 48, are worried about him as he approaches his 48th birthday. I know! Let's sign him up for psychological torture disguised as a 'reality game,' rope his brother in, get a girl to date him as part of it too, and drive him to try to kill himself the same way his father did, and as he falls through the breakaway glass roof, we reveal our surprise birthday party? No. Fuck everyone involved. He should have left the party and cut them all out. Fuck that whole movie. Why wasn't he angry????" — u/WORhMnGd 2. I was like, 'Shit, this movie is exactly what I wanted.' He then dies 10 minutes later in the the worst way possible. You then follow a cast of characters you give absolutely zero fucks about. I was so salty that Cranston died that I hated pretty much everything in the rest of the movie. But on top of pull a bait and switch like that..." 4. Into the Wild "Basically any film or book that portrays Christopher McCandless in a positive light. The man was an idiot who, with zero training, thought he could make it in the Alaskan wilderness. One of which was put there a few years before the start of the movie. The other is a billions+ years old supermassive celestial object. The object that is billions of years linked to his daughter's bedroom? And can also travel back in time? Exactly 53 years (the time spent by ORBITING the black hole)? Also, it grants you the power to park tractors in a semi-circle. No other powers, though, because that would be fucking ridiculous. (Sarcasm.) Oh sorry I forgot — 'The answer is love.' Guess I can jump into a black hole and, because love solves gravity, I can see my childhood dog Ruffles again? Think my personal black hole will bring me to his doghouse in the year 1999? Maybe if we calculate it right and find the right black hole, we can send Morse code to Hitler's art professors and let him pass. We just need to find someone who really loved their great-grandmother, the Austrian art professor. FUCK." 10. Summit Entertainment "It was genuinely a good movie.. until the extra four minutes of footage at the end. ... Basically, the movie was done, and then they added some dumb ending to pander to American emotions. Luke fucking Skywalker, who said, 'There is still good in Darth Vader, I can see it,' has a bad dream and tries to kill his nephew and burns down the whole new Jedi thing. They set up a lot of new characters in The Force Awakens just for them to be sidelined or go down like punks. The whole movie shit on everything before it, and fuck the twats that let it get made. Crazy Stupid Love Carousel Productions / Di Novi Pictures / Via "The C-Plot of Crazy Stupid Love is about a boy who's infatuated with his babysitter. He's stalking her, harassing her over text, telling her he masturbates to her, and publicly embarrassing her at school. She repeatedly tells him to stop and that he's making her uncomfortable. At the climax of the movie, he's giving a speech at his middle school graduation about how he doesn't believe in true love. His dad interrupts the speech to tell him not to give up on love, and the victory of the movie is the child telling everyone that he loves the babysitter and will never stop pursuing her. The movie treats this as a major victory and ends with her rewarding his terrible behavior by GIVING HIM HER NUDES! So the moral of this movie ends up being that if you like someone, you're free to harass them as much as you want because as long as you call it 'love,' you'll eventually be rewarded for it, no matter how uncomfortable you're making them." — u/AlphaBreak 28.
