Ree Drummond's Daughter Details Honeymoon 'Nightmare' Hours After Wedding

's daughter said "I do" this past weekend and now she's enjoying some surf and sand with her new husband, David Andersen–but it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows getting there. Some 48 hours after the couple exchanged vows at the Drummond family ranch (the same site of Paige's sister Alex's wedding four years ago), Paige and David had driven back home to Dallas to pack before heading off to the airport for their flight the next day. Unfortunately for the couple, they experienced what Ree called "every traveler's nightmare," David's passport was "nowhere to be found." Related: "We were supposed to leave on Monday morning, but David's passport actually dropped off the face of the earth," Paige explained in a May 21 post published by The Pioneer Woman. The couple, who had booked their flights to Costa Rica months ago, were not going to make that flight on Monday and with the new rules regarding Real ID, changing the trip entirely to somewhere domestic wouldn't be so easy either. Luckily, Paige had some guidance from Ree to help support her through the chaotic situation, writing in her blog that she "gave Paige a 100% guarantee that the second she was lying on the beach in Costa Rica, she'd laugh about this wrinkle." Thankfully, mom was right. According to the Food Network star, "a passport office in Dallas came to the rescue" and rushed David a new passport in 24 hours. The couple were able to re-book their flight for the next day, this past Tuesday, with Paige gleefully sharing a photo of their rings and passports from the plane in a now-deleted Instagram Story. Paige later shared another selfie with David before they headed out to dinner, tagging their location and cheering that they had "made it!" In the hours since, the newlyweds have snapped a few more photos showing off their surreal escape, enjoying some much-needed peace and uninterrupted time together. Next:

'Pioneer Woman' Ree Drummond Reveals 'Dumb' Baking Hack for 'Delicious' Cookies

just shared her go-to baking hack for making super special and "delicious" cookies to honor a recent graduate, but honestly, this trick is a game-changer for all birthdays and celebrations going forward. Over the weekend, The Pioneer Woman uploaded a video of herself baking several batches of her favorite chocolate chip recipe–just without any chocolate chips, and no, she wasn't going for the chipless chocolate chip cookie, either. Instead of chocolate chips, she suggested using your preferred cookie recipe as a base and taking "your kid's favorite cereal and candy" and stirring it into the mix, similar to a Kitchen Sink Cookie, without caramel or toffee (unless you want it). In the video, the Food Network personality appeared to be using a combination of Cap'n Crunch cereal, broken pretzel pieces, chopped dark chocolate, mini peanut butter cups and M&M's. Related: Once the cookies are cool, Ree said to "ice them with chocolate or vanilla frosting (whatever your graduate likes,) then sprinkle more of everything on top." Though the cookbook author admits the hack is "kinda dumb," she also promises it's a "fun" and "delicious" ode to whoever you're celebrating. "Might as well send 'em into their future happy!!!" she quipped. Fans agreed, with one top-liked comment cheering, "this looks amazing! What a fun idea!🤤." "This looks so yummy 😍," a second gushed. "I've done this with Halloween candy," another admitted. "It's a great way to use it up. 🙌🏻." As for Ree's exact cookie recipe, she said fans can recreate it by following the instructions laid out in her "Totally Terrific Cookies for Todd." Next:

Ree Drummond restarts health journey, 'stopped exercising' after losing 55 pounds

Ree Drummond restarts health journey, 'stopped exercising' after losing 55 pounds Show Caption Hide Caption 8 foods that seem healthy, but aren't Products that promise to be 'healthy' can actually be high in sugar, sodium, fat and preservatives. unbranded - Lifestyle It's a new frontier for "The Pioneer Woman." Food Network star Ree Drummond revealed in a blog post published April 30 that, after "a few fluctuations," she is returning to the "original method" that helped kickstart her health journey and led her to lose over 50 pounds. "The game changer for me is two-fold: First, I'm building muscle again, which is crucial. I do lunges, squats, deadlifts, and floor exercises with ankle weights. Second, I'm eating more protein and keeping it a higher percentage of my calories." Drummond wrote. "This time, I am not weighing my food and counting calories." After her dramatic weight loss in 2021, Drummond wrote, "Bottom line, starting at the end of 2023 I stopped exercising and kinda stopped paying attention to what I was eating." The mom and grandmother told fans that despite skipping alcohol for four months during her last lifestyle change, she drinks white wine and tops it off with Topo Chico sparkling water "so it's kind of a wine spritzer type of thing" as a way to indulge. In February, Drummond said she "decided to jump back the plan I'd found success with in 2021, just not quite as high a gear as the first time." "The very hardest part was the first week to ten days," she continued. "Today it's not that hard at all, and in fact, it's actually rewarding as I'm feeling better and better all the time." Drummond left a disclaimer for fans, stressing that her methods for weight loss work for her. "Long story short, I have found that it all still holds true, and FOR ME, it is working again like clockwork or science or whatever the word is," the Oklahoma native added. Ree Drummond previously addressed weight loss drug rumors Last year, Drummond clarified rumors that she was using supplements or weight loss gummies after she noticed a host of false advertisements on Facebook suggesting she was using them. In March, Drummond announced on the social media platform that she would update her previous blog explaining the dos and don'ts of her journey amid the "celebrity endorsement fraud" she's seen running rampant. "I did not take Ozempic, Wegovy, or similar medications. I know this has been a big topic in recent years, so I thought I'd add this paragraph," she wrote in an update to her blog. While writing that she supports "anyone who has success" on weight loss medications, the "boring truth" is that she "had never heard of that class of drugs" when she set out on her weight loss journey. "And to be honest, if I had heard of them and had seen all the results that are out there, I might have been tempted to try them. But I simply didn't know those drugs existed then, so I dove in using all the methods below," Drummond said. "I definitely needed to lose weight for my own preference based on where I thought I should be, but it's more about how I feel after a few months of regular exercise, more moving, and more mindful eating," she continued. "Feeling good is really all that matters, and because of that, the weigh-ins are becoming less and less important to me." Contributing: Naledi Ushe
