Barron Trump has a girlfriend and is ‘apolitical': Sources

Welcome to 'The Scoop' — the ultimate back-to-the-office water cooler cheat sheet, your go-to source for all things everyone really wants to know! Get the latest on everything from the political swamp maneuvering in D.C. and Hollywood drama to jaw-dropping small-town shenanigans from Paula Froelich. (NewsNation) — Much has been made of Barron Trump's time at NYU in the tabloids — why he was not active in the college Republicans, whether or not he has any friends, etc — but my impeccably placed sources say he did just fine his first year. A friend on campus told me, 'Barron has a really nice girlfriend and hangs out with her a lot. He does have friends he just (unlike his father Donald Trump) screws the limelight.' Country star joins fight against proposed TVA methane plant Barron is, according to my source, 'much more like his mother, Melania — he keeps his head down and gets on with it. He is not trying to be BMOC (big man on campus).' Another interesting difference between Barron and his dad? 'Barron is pretty apolitical — he doesn't get involved,' my source said. This account semi-jibes with the account Kaya Walker, the former president of the NYU chapter of the College Republicans, when she told Vanity Fair in February that the 18-year-old freshman was reclusive. 'He goes to class, he goes home,' she told the magazine. Walker also told the mag: Barron was 'sort of like an oddity on campus.' (Walker was forced to resign from the club soon after these statements were made public.) But it is clear that the hopes of Barron taking over from Trump and the Republican Party are, at least for now, not a reality. 'That's not what he's interested in,' my source said. Hailey Bieber saves the day (financially) amid Justin's money problems: Source

(NewsNation) — It's Hailey to the rescue! When Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber first got together, he was the one with the financial clout. She was a model; he was a mega pop star worth more than $500 million. Country star joins fight against proposed TVA methane plant But this week, when Hailey sold her beauty line she founded just three years ago, Rhode, for $1 billion to e.l.f. Cosmetics, she reversed those roles… and Hailey is now the one bringing home the bacon. Announcing the deal on Instagram, Hailey wrote: 'When I launched @rhode in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company, and the most important thing to me is to keep bringing rhode to more spaces, places, and faces globally,' Hailey's caption began. 'So today I am so incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we step into this next chapter in the world of rhode,' Hailey continued. 'I found a like-minded disruptor with a vision to be a different kind of company that believes in big ideas and innovation in the same way that I do and will help us continue to grow the brand.' 'I feel invigorated, excited and more ready than ever,' she explained, adding that she will now serve as Chief Creative Officer, and Head of Innovation of Rhode as well as a strategic advisor to e.l.f. Beauty. She then thanked her Rhode team and the 'supportive' Rhode community. 'This next chapter is going to be even more incredible together! As I've said, this is only the beginning. 🤍.' According to the Wall Street Journal: 'E.l.f. Beauty agreed to pay Rhode's equity holders $800 million at closing, including $600 million in cash and $200 million in new shares of e.l.f. Beauty common stock. And depending on the brand's growth over the next three years, e.l.f. could pay as much as $200 million more.' A source told me: 'Hailey saved the day (financially). She's also very smart when it comes to business and having good people around her so she can be trusted with the money — and make sure she, Jack and Justin have a good financial foundation from here on out.' It was financial worries, if anything, that may have caused a strain on their marriage. Much has been made of Justin's financial fallout from his 'out of control' spending, partying and split from former manager Scooter Braun. Bieber was on the hook for millions after he pulled out of his 2022 tour — and ended up selling his music catalogue for $200 million because he was 'broke,' according to Page Six. Chrisleys set to make TV comeback after Trump pardons 'He spends eye-watering amounts per month. At one point, he couldn't even get a credit card,' the source told Page Six. 'Justin is surrounded by a lot of people that do not have his best interests at heart.' Justin's profligate spending didn't stop when he sold his catalogue, however. It continued into this year, and sources again told P6: 'He's flying in all his friends on private jets to his birthday party, putting it all over Instagram. He'll spend $300,000 at the Nobu at Coachella. He hasn't worked in a really long time.' Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Whitney Cummings called ‘liar' with ‘agenda' by Malibu rancher

(NewsNation) — An L.A.-based rancher is taking aim at Whitney Cummings — claiming the comedian once 'lied for likes' to boost her rep after the horrendous Woolsey Fires in 2018. Ronnie Semmler, an LA-based rancher, owns the Saddle Rock Ranch — an 1100-acre ranch in Malibu, California, which has a vineyard (where tourists can do the Malibu Wine Hikes) and is the home to LA's 'most famous giraffe,' Stanley. Why has Usher, Steve Harvey been mentioned around Diddy's case? Stanley, who has made regular movie and TV appearances throughout his life, including a cameo in 'The Hangover 3', is at the center of a story Semmler tells on Instagram. In this particular story, Semmler notes: 'After the Woolsey Fire destroyed 95% of our home… we were focused on protecting what was left and taking care of our animals. During that time, Whitney Cummings trespassed, spoke to my son and daughter, was told that the animals were safe, and posted that 'everything was good.' But when it didn't get enough engagement, she flipped the story, causing a wave of attacks while we were mourning and rebuilding — a reminder that for some, clout means more than truth.' What to expect at Universal's new Epic Universe theme park In the video, Semmler, decked out in a cowboy hat and a pink button-down shirt, looks at the camera and says: 'Instead of dealing with my losses in the fire, I had to deal with some comedian, Whitney Cummings — who had an agenda and it wasn't about caring about anything other than herself… Two of my kids headed up to the ranch. They saw a black Tesla… and they found Whitney Cummings, a supposed comedian who had lied to the police, saying she was press to get up there.' 'She went up there with a definite agenda — nothing to do with animals… just about getting social media numbers,' Semmler said. Cummings had apparently climbed the fence to get into Stanley's enclosure for a better shot. '(Cummings) said she'd never had any experience with giraffes but proceeded to climb into the cage to take video of herself.' Semmler included a video Cummings had posted (inside the giraffe enclosure) saying, 'I know nothing about giraffes… are they violent?' Cummings left after the Semmler children arrived and initially posted, 'Animals are ok.. all is fine. I'm glad I came up here to check.' The post was later deleted and changed to a reel that had a picture of Stanley, noting, 'They left Stanley the giraffe in toxic smoke! They didn't even have a plan to evacuate him…' Another poster said, 'YOU USE THIS ANIMAL for a tourist attraction, then leave him to die? Sociopaths.' Semmler (who included all of Cummings' posts in his video) said: 'She must have observed a huge drop in social media posts and then flipped the script… figured this would be a better way to get more views. Not to mention, everything was untrue. (The animals) were ok — and (we were) fully taking care of them and the ranch after it almost burned to the ground… Isn't it amazing how one person could lie about what she saw for her own personal benefit and do damage to my ranch and my family and create total havoc for months, if not years, to come.' Katy Perry not welcome back in Las Vegas for residency: Source A rep for Cummings didn't return emails. The posts did cause trouble for the Semmler family and Stanley. According to SFGate, 'Stanley's woes began in 2018, when the Woolsey Fire tore through 96,949 acres of Malibu hillsides, including through Saddlerock Ranch. As reports emerged that Stanley and the other animals had been abandoned on the ranch during the fire, public and celebrity outcry quickly grew into an explosion of social media criticism after a photo began circulating that showed Stanley with flames behind him.' King Charles refusing chemo, could see Harry at end of month: Insider After the Semmler showed they had followed appropriate evacuation methods, PETA got involved, saying the giraffe's situation during the Woolsey Fire drew attention to the 'sad, lonely life he's forced to endure at Malibu Wine Safaris,' adding that he's 'just used to lure in tourists.' According to KABC, 'The family had never obtained a required animal facility license from the Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control, which in turn is a requirement for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife's state restricted species permit. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife cited Ron Semler in June 2020 for 'falsely certifying on his state restricted species permit applications that he was in compliance with all county laws.'' Gayle King's trip to space continues to impact 'CBS Mornings' Stanley was later 'seized in place and the case was finally resolved in 2021 when Semmler paid $4,170 in fines and was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service.' Jeff Bezos-Lauren Sanchez wedding to be ‘intimate,' under $15M: Exclusive

(NewsNation) — The Italian extravaganza of the Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez wedding is almost upon us. Set to take place in Venice, Italy, at the end of June, it is not, as suggested in other outlets, going to be a huge spectacular event costing hundreds of millions of dollars. In fact, a source close to the couple told me, 'It's going to be very intimate — just family and close friends. Under 200 people.' Meghan, Harry 'diss' Victoria Beckham; Harry faces charity woes: Source Rumors of performances by Lady Gaga and Sir Elton John are also 'false,' my source said, adding, 'That's ridiculous.' What is to be sure — it will be lovely and the event of the year. While the guests are preparing — picking out outfits, getting last-minute tweaks at the plastic surgeons and jockeying for the right seat at the right table — final finishes are being made to the elaborate plans. And with finishes come the bill, which, when broken down, looks like it will set Bezos back millions of dollars — but not so much as compared to, say, the Ambani wedding last year, which cost the richest family in India over $600 million to pull off. So, how much will it cost? In order to entertain the guests, which, as I first announced, will include Kris and Kim Kardashian, Gayle King, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, Brian and Victoria Grazer among others, one must not skimp. And by my calculations, without skimping, the check will clear at around $9.5 to 11 million. According to CEOWorld, high-end wedding planners like Colin Cowie can charge up to 20% of the entire wedding cost to orchestrate a perfect multi-day event — and for a wedding that costs a minimum of $9.5 million, his fee would be a whopping $2 million. The wedding guests (and the bridal couple) will be staying at the Aman Venice and the Gritti Palace, both of which are estimated to cost $500,000 a night to book out. Cost for three nights for the Aman (which has only 24 rooms and suites and will be for family), $1.5 million; cost for the Gritti Palace for two nights (for guests), $1 million. Total: $2.5 million Oscar de la Renta couture dress: $250,000. Lauren Sanchez has been known to spend $200,000 on couture dresses, so why would her wedding dress be any different? King Charles refusing chemo, could see Harry at end of month: Insider Hair and makeup will be about $100,000 (if the couple is covering all hair and makeup for the event). And flowers could cost $175,000. This was the cost for the Ambani wedding flowers — and why would we expect less from the Bezos'? Matthew Oliver Weddings estimates a high-end wedding costs the couple $50,000 for food and drink for 50 people. The Bezos wedding is expected to be at least 200 people, so $200,000 it is … and multiply that by three days … with tax, we can assume the food and drink bill will be close to $600,000 (this could easily double based on how many crates of Veuve Clicquot are quaffed) Let's say an ultra high-end photographer like Annie Leibovitz was engaged… the cost for three days of Leibovitz's talents would be near $500,000. This is tricky. While most guests will be flying themselves, service people (trusted hair and makeup artists, technicians, botox injectors, etc) will not be expected to pay for their flights. Let's assume 10 people will have their first-class flights to Venice during high season, which will cost around $100,000. Plus the cost of a private jumbo jet for Sanchez, Bezos and their families: $200,000. Day trips, planned outings and the cost of the yacht Koru not only to be parked outside Venice for a week but also to engage in a few sailing trips for guests: $500,000. Katy Perry not welcome back in Las Vegas for residency: Source Bezos proposed to Sanchez with a humongous, 30-carat, cushion-cut diamond engagement ring, said to be worth around $5 million. And why would the engagement ring outshine the wedding jewels? I am conservatively placing this cost at another $5-10 million (although if Sanchez has an Ambani-style necklace, earrings and more to match her large décolletage, it could be millions more). The total cost (without the honeymoon) conservatively comes to $9.5 – $11 million… only slightly more than it cost to send Sanchez and her pals to space, so… bonus! Have fun, y'all! Reps for Bezos and Sanchez didn't return emails. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.
