Kevin Jonas reveals he started seeing therapist after Jonas Brothers' latest tour: ‘All the depression, it's real'
Popstar Kevin Jonas has revealed that the latest tour with his brothers Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas for Jonas Brothers has taken quite a toll on his mental health. The popstar admitted that he started seeking professional help to deal with highs and lows after the adrenaline rush and hectic schedule of their last tour. (Also read: 'Priyanka Chopra has so much compassion and empathy': Nick Jonas on what makes her 'absolutely incredible' mom to Malti) In an interview with People magazine, the 37-year-old popstar said, "All the depression, blues, it's real, especially after a tour. After our last tour, we did over 100 and something shows — it was too many — and we ended in Europe. I got on my plane to come home after I believe 130 shows, and I got on my flight — which was delayed terribly, which is never fun.' The Jonas Brothers recently went on their seventh world tour, titled The Tour, to promote their sixth studio album, The Album. The tour concluded last year in October and their last show was in Krakow, Poland. 'I took the first flight out from Poland to go through Munich to get home and (was) delayed for like seven hours, and then they had make a random stop in Nova Scotia. So it literally took me like an extra 18 hours to get home, and I was already fatigued and burnt out by the time I got home. My wife was like 'Something's wrong with you, are you okay?' I actually had to go start talking to a therapist about it, how to process the highs and the lows. It's so jarring,' Kevin said. The Jonas Brothers will hit the road again for the JONAS20 tour in August, once Nick Jonas wraps his Broadway run of the musical The Last Five Years. The popstar brothers will be kicking it off in their home state of New Jersey at MetLife Stadium.

Carr, whose shoulder injury was revealed earlier in the offseason, opted to retire in lieu of undergoing surgery that likely would have sidelined him for the 2025 season. 'It's difficult to find the right words to express our thanks to all the teammates, coaches, management, ownership, team officials and especially the fans who made this journey so special. Your unwavering support has meant the world to us,' he said in a statement. 6 Derek Carr began his NFL career with the Raiders in 2014. There is so much more I want to say but I'll just tell you in person,' she gushed.

What are early returns on PGA Tour pace-of-play tests? Rules chief dishes on rangefinders
What are early returns on PGA Tour pace-of-play tests? Rules chief dishes on rangefinders FLOURTOWN, Pa. – The PGA Tour's Distance measuring device test is coming to an end. Pros have been allowed to use rangefinders at Tour events at six events over a four-week span beginning at the RBC Heritage last month and through the Truist Championship and Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic this week. [Technically, pros have one more week since the PGA of America, which runs the PGA Championship next week at Quail Hollow Club, has permitted them for several years, but starting at the Charles Schwab Challenge the following week and for the remainder of the season they are back on the 'no-can-do list.'] Other than Davis Riley being dinged for misuse – he used the slope function, which isn't allowed – Gary Young, the PGA Tour's Chief of Rules and Competitions, said 'so far, so good,' on the test of new speed of play recommendations. 'We had that one unfortunate penalty last week with Davis Riley, and other than that, it's gone pretty well,' he said. It's a small sample size but enough Young hopes to get feedback from players and caddies and crunch the numbers to determine if the DMDs are making a difference in pace of play. Young noted that the pace has been improving since it became a hot topic during the West Coast Swing. He said the average time at the RBC Heritage was 3 hours 50 minutes at Harbour Town Golf Links, arguably the flattest and easiest walk on Tour and as little as 3 hours and 20 minutes for certain groups. [The 72-man signature event field was played in twosomes allowing for the faster pace.] 'I think the guys are taking ownership and realizing they have got to make a change or something bad is going to come their way. They've heard all this talk about shot clocks and things that they don't feel having any place in the game,' Young said. Announcing pace-of-play times is still a maybe The Tour also has stated publicly that publishing a list of pace-of-play times, which would publicly shame the slowest players, is under consideration. 'What is eventually going to change their behavior, it's going to be stuff like that,' Young said. 'Mark Russell (former chief of rules and competitions) used to say it all the time – every player thinks they're a fast player until you show them on paper. 'The data's going to be important. When you sit down with them, and you say, 'This is over thousands of golf shots. Look at your average. Stop trying to make excuses. Don't tell me about the volunteer you had at such and such that you think was [the reason you had a slow time].' That's garbage. All that stuff's thrown out. When you're talking thousands of golf shots, you've got a problem, and you need to address it. When they hear that – and we're upfront with them on that – they need to change their behavior. You need to become more like the norm. I'm not asking you to be a fast player, but I do need you to be more like everyone else. You don't get more time to play than everyone else out here. That's what it boils down to.' Distance-measuring devices are not the only testing going on DMDs isn't the only test underway. The Korn Ferry Tour is evaluating a second pace-of-play measure. Under the revised Pace of Play Policy, which is in place for the remainder of the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour season, the first offense of a 'bad time' will now result in a one-stroke penalty. Under the previous policy, a one-stroke penalty was not applied until a player received a second 'bad time.' 'The feedback I'm getting is that when they go out to warn a group, guys are afraid to get on the clock. Unless we stop the DMD period, we won't really have a chance to see which one of the two things that they're doing is resulting in the better place of play,' Young said. It's a process, but at last, the Tour is making real strides to shore up one of its timeless problems.

UAE Team Emirates-XRG‘s Pogačar wins Tour de Flanders title
UAE Team Emirates-XRG's rider Tadej Pogačar rode alone to the finish in Oudenaarde to win his second Ronde van Vlaanderen title on Sunday, whose final and decisive attack on the Oude Kwaremont dispatched of his rivals with 18km to go. Also known as De Ronde (The Tour), the Tour of Flanders is one of cycling's most challenging one-day races and was first held in 1913. This year's 268.9-kilometre (167-mile) route featured 16 short but punishing climbs and several cobblestone sections. The Slovenian was on the move time and time again throughout the race, with Lidl-Trek's Mads Pedersen and defending champion Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck) appearing to be the only riders who could follow his wheel. However, with his stinging acceleration on the third and final ascent of the Oude Kwaremont, Pogačar shook the dogged persistence of Van der Poel and forged his path alone. Despite Jasper Stuyven (Lidl-Trek) and Wout van Aert (Visma-Lease a Bike) forming a four-man chasing group with Pedersen and Van der Poel, Pogačar wasn't going to be caught as the world champion dug deep in the final 10km and extended his advantage to the line. Accepting that their battle against Pogačar was futile, the chasers could only sprint for second place, with Pedersen taking second place ahead of Van der Poel in third. In winning his second Tour of Flanders title, following his victory in 2023, Pogačar moves up to eight Monument victories and takes UAE Team Emirates-XRG's 24th victory of the season.

Pogacar wins Tour de Flanders with another solo attack
OUDENAARDE, Belgium (AP) — Another blistering attack from Tadej Pogacar saw the world champion win the Tour of Flanders cobbled classic for the second time on Sunday. Pogacar had plenty of time to raise his arms above his head and soak up the applause of the crowd as he soloed to victory after taking off on the third and final ascent of the Oude Kwaremont. The three-time Tour de France champion had launched his last and decisive attack on the penultimate climb – about 18 kilometers (11 miles) from the finish — and not even defending champion Mathieu van der Poel could stay on his wheel. Pogacar finished 1 minute, 1 second ahead of Mads Pedersen, who edged out Van der Poel in a four-man sprint for second, just ahead of Wout van Aert and Jasper Stuyven. Also known as De Ronde (The Tour), the Tour of Flanders is one of cycling's most challenging one-day races and was first held in 1913. This year's 268.9-kilometer (167-mile) route featured 16 short but punishing climbs and several cobblestone sections. It was a second victory for Pogacar after he won in 2023 a record-equaling third win. It was expected to be another episode of the great rivalry between Pogacar and Van der Poel, who had won the recent Milan-San Remo, and so it proved. The duo played cat and mouse with each other in the final 50 kilometers (31 miles) with each matching the other's attacks before Pogacar left the Dutch cyclist and the other hopefuls in the distance. The Tour of Flanders is one of the 'monuments' of cycling — the five most prestigious one-day events in the sport — along with Milan-San Remo, Paris-Roubaix, Liege-Bastogne-Liege and the Giro di Lombardia. the grueling French classic next Sunday.
