Kevin Jonas reveals he started seeing therapist after Jonas Brothers' latest tour: ‘All the depression, it's real'

Hindustan Times26-05-2025

Popstar Kevin Jonas has revealed that the latest tour with his brothers Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas for Jonas Brothers has taken quite a toll on his mental health. The popstar admitted that he started seeking professional help to deal with highs and lows after the adrenaline rush and hectic schedule of their last tour.

In an interview with People magazine, the 37-year-old popstar said, "All the depression, blues, it's real, especially after a tour. After our last tour, we did over 100 and something shows — it was too many — and we ended in Europe. I got on my plane to come home after I believe 130 shows, and I got on my flight — which was delayed terribly, which is never fun.'
The Jonas Brothers recently went on their seventh world tour, titled The Tour, to promote their sixth studio album, The Album. The tour concluded last year in October and their last show was in Krakow, Poland.
'I took the first flight out from Poland to go through Munich to get home and (was) delayed for like seven hours, and then they had make a random stop in Nova Scotia. So it literally took me like an extra 18 hours to get home, and I was already fatigued and burnt out by the time I got home. My wife was like 'Something's wrong with you, are you okay?' I actually had to go start talking to a therapist about it, how to process the highs and the lows. It's so jarring,' Kevin said.
The Jonas Brothers will hit the road again for the JONAS20 tour in August, once Nick Jonas wraps his Broadway run of the musical The Last Five Years. The popstar brothers will be kicking it off in their home state of New Jersey at MetLife Stadium.

Kim Kardashian finally reacts to mum Kris Jenner's new look for the first time; here's what she said

Kris Jenner's face is doing what most can't: turning back time—and Kim Kardashian is officially here for it. The 69-year-old Kardashian matriarch sent social media into a frenzy after unveiling what can only be described as her most dramatic glow-up yet, with a look so youthful, it left fans — and dermatologists — questioning. While Hollywood is no stranger to subtle tweaks and tune-ups, Kris' transformation appears to have jumped ahead a few chapters in the anti-ageing playbook, leaving biohacker Bryan Johnson behind at his own game. The conversation reached a boiling point when Kim Kardashian finally broke her silence about her mom's new look. And in true Kim fashion, the billionaire SKIMS founder did it with equal parts wit and subtle shade. On her Instagram Stories, Kim shared a photo of longtime friend and celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, who was spotted rocking a bold T-shirt that read: 'I'LL HAVE WHAT KRIS JENNER IS HAVING.' Kim captioned the image: '@chrisappleton1 me too babe!!!' While Kris has remained somewhat tight-lipped about the exact details of her latest transformation, she's no stranger to being open about her cosmetic journey. Her past enhancements have been well-documented—sometimes even serving as subplots on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. One fan-favourite moment? The now-famous earlobe reduction, which Kris pursued after a passing comment from Kim left her obsessing over the size of her ears. 'All I want is just cute ears,' Kris said candidly during the episode. 'Ever since Kim made a comment about my ears, I've always wondered. Now I'm looking in the mirror obsessively like, 'Are they too big?'' According to Kris, she did some research and found out that both the nose and ears continue to grow with age. 'I think that the decision to do something about my ever-changing ears is suddenly a priority,' she said. A post shared by Kris Jenner (@krisjenner) Of course, no discussion of the Kardashian-Jenner beauty dynasty would be complete without acknowledging their longtime love affair with injectables. Botox, in particular, has always held a special place in Kris' beauty routine. 'It's a one-stop shop for me. And who doesn't love Botox?' Kris once told People magazine. 'If you're responsible and talk to your doctor, I think it works. It's something I've been using for a long time.' Despite the glam, Kris insists her routine is simpler than one might think: 'A massage, a great facial, a manicure, and a little Botox—and I'm good to go. I'm pretty traditional. As long as I'm clean and scrubbed up, I'm a happy camper.' One thing's clear: whatever Kris is having, everyone wants it.

Will Prince Harry Change Family's Last Name to Spencer Amid Feud With Royals? Know About Secret Chat With Princess Diana's Brother

Prince Harry is allegedly planning on changing his family name to Spencer. The title was used by Princess Diana as her surname. The Duke of Sussex has reportedly discussed it with his uncle and the former Princess of Wales' brother, Charles. According to the Daily Mail reports, Harry taking his mother's last name would mean the abandonment of the Mountbatten-Windsor title, which has been used by the British Royal family for ages. Prince Harry' s suggestion of changing his last name comes almost five years after the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex took an exit from Buckingham Palace. Moreover, the former royal member has also locked horns with the Prince of Wales and the monarch since. As for his chat with Charles Spencer, Prince Harry met his uncle during one of his rare visits to his home country. However, Spencer asked the Duke not to take such a step, as it would invite new legal challenges. Charles Spencer's advice to Prince Harry Speaking about Prince Harry's conversation with his uncle Charles, a friend of the Duke's revealed to the media portal, "They had a very amicable conversation and Spencer advised him against taking such a step." Meanwhile, Harry himself has used Wales as his last name, as both his parents were known as the Prince and Princess of Wales. As for his children, both Archie and Lilibet add Mountbatten-Windsor to their names. Previously opening up about her Sussex family name, Meghan Markle shared with People Magazine that she did not realise the deeper meaning attached to the name until she had children. The Duchess went on to explain, "It's our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn't recognized how meaningful that would be to me until we had children." She further added, "I love that that is something that Archie, Lili, H, and I all have together. It means a lot to me." Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married each other in 2018 and left the royal family in 2020, following the birth of their son.

Sinners, Starring Michael B Jordan, Now Available For Rent On OTT

Last Updated: Michael B Jordan's Sinners is now streaming available for rent on Amazon Prime Video and will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD from July 8. After hitting theatres on April 18 this year, Sinners has earned the title of the 8th highest-grossing film of 2025. Now, after collecting $350 million worldwide, the Michael B Jordan-starrer is all set to release on Amazon Prime Video on June 3 — that is, today. Helmed by Ryan Coogler, the supernatural horror film follows the story of two identical twin brothers — Smoke and Stack, who return from Chicago to their hometown in Mississippi after years spent in the criminal underworld. Determined to open a juke joint of their own, they gain the support of their close-knit community. But as the opening night unfolds, a dark presence begins to creep into the celebration. What stands out even more is Michael B Jordan's brilliant portrayal of both twin brothers. Recently, Jordan and Coogler, who have collaborated five times since Fruitvale Station (2013) — discussed the process in a special featurette titled 'Thicker Than Blood: Becoming the Smokestack Twins." The featurette will be available with Sinners' home release. Speaking to People magazine, the actor and director opened up about the process behind Jordan's dual performance. Coogler shared that he drew inspiration from real-life twins Noah and Logan Miller, whom he consulted while developing the characters. He said, 'They were able to work with Michael to get into the psychology of who Smoke and Stack are." He added, 'They gave us a lot of perspective on what it's like to be an identical twin and the kind of bond they share. Since I've known these guys, they've shared one cell phone. You'd call and not know who'd pick up, but you always knew the other one was right there." Jordan's Realisation About Twins Reflecting on his experience, Jordan said, 'What we kind of understood about identical twins is that one is more dominant in certain areas than the other. So discovering those little details was really fun and quite insightful from a process point of view." He added, 'They are physical — they stood differently, they walked differently." Different Characteristics of Smoke and Stack The Creed III director explained, 'Smoke, he wore his trauma differently; he kinda closed up a bit. And Stack was a lot lighter. He smiled through his pain, he smiled through his trauma. So just getting into all that work helped me feel confident and prepared." Earlier, in another People interview, the Black Panther actor said, 'I've got a brother that I'm extremely tight with and close and love a lot, and best friends that are like brothers." Alongside Michael B Jordan, Sinners also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Miles Caton, Jack O'Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Miller, Li Jun Li, and Delroy Lindo. Sinners is now available on OTT platforms for rent from June 3 and will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD from July 8. First Published:
