Rihanna debuts at No. 1 with 'Friend of Mine' on Billboard's Dance Digital Song Sales chart, beating DJ Snake and Avicii
Rihanna has returned and how! The queen of pop is back on the top of the charts, as her latest release 'Friend of Mine' debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Dance Digital Song Sales chart this week. The track has become the top-selling dance song in the United States, as measured by Billboard. This marks a significant moment in Rihanna's career, as it is her third time reaching the summit of this specific chart. Her last No. 1 came back in 2016 with 'This Is What You Came For,' a collaboration with Calvin Harris. Before that, she first claimed the top spot in June 2012 with 'Where Have You Been.' 'Friend of Mine' is one of seven new entries on the 15-song chart this week. Despite strong competition from well-known artists including DJ Snake, Kesha, and the late Avicii, Rihanna secured the top spot. Avicii, who passed away in 2018, makes a posthumous appearance with 'Let's Ride Away,' a new collaboration with Elle King. In total, Rihanna has now earned 11 appearances on the Dance Digital Song Sales chart. Impressively, ten of those entries have reached the top 10. Two of her well-known tracks, 'We Found Love' (also with Calvin Harris) and 'Who's That Chick?' with David Guetta, both peaked at No. 2, narrowly missing out on the No. 1 position. This new chart-topping success further cements Rihanna's enduring popularity in the dance music space. While fans continue to hope for a full studio album, 'Friend of Mine' serves as a reminder of her ability to dominate the charts with fresh, energetic releases.

Taylor Swift ex Calvin Harris expecting first baby with wife Vick Hope
Taylor Swift's ex, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, is expecting his first child with wife, TV and radio presenter Vick Hope. The BBC Radio 1 presenter's baby bump was visible while she and Jamie Laing chatted with Florence Pugh Monday during the actors' press tour for Marvel's 'Thunderbolts*.' Hope, 35, shared an Instagram carousel Wednesday, that began with her bump front and center, and also included stills from the Pugh chat. 'Lots going on lately,' Hope wrote above the first image, posting it to her Instagram Story. Though the 41-year-old 'Blame' DJ, real name Adam Wiles, reportedly failed to secure a date with Hope in 2007, they ultimately got together following his 2016 split from Swift. Harris and Hope tied the knot in September 2023. The love story between Harris and Swift — who collaborated together on the Rihanna song, 'This Is What You Came For' — lasted from March 2015 to May 2016. Harris at the time tweeted, 'The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,' a since-deleted post initially retweeted by the Grammy-winning pop superstar. It was that May when Swift met her next lover: Tom Hiddleston, with whom she shared a now-infamous fling throughout summer 2016.

Taylor Swift's former boyfriend Calvin Harris and wife Vick Hope are expecting their first child together
Calvin Harris, the Scottish DJ and music producer once romantically linked to global pop star Taylor Swift, is now preparing for an entirely new chapter—fatherhood. Harris and his wife, broadcaster Vick Hope, are expecting their first child together, following a subtle yet telling announcement on social media. Hope, 35, was seen sporting a clear baby bump during a recent interview with actress Florence Pugh. She later shared a series of photos on Instagram on 29 April, leading with an image that prominently displayed her pregnancy. While the caption made no direct reference to the news, she later reshared the post to her Instagram Story with the understated remark: 'Lots going on lately.' Representatives for Harris and Hope have yet to comment on the pregnancy. Quiet marriage after years being apart Harris, 41, and Hope married in September 2023 during a private ceremony in England, following a year of dating. However, their history dates back much further. In a 2023 interview with GQ. Hope revealed that Harris had first expressed interest in her back in 2007, shortly after the release of his debut single 'Acceptable in the 80s'. At the time, she declined, but the pair reconnected years later. Their engagement was confirmed in 2022 after Hope was seen wearing a large diamond ring at the Chelsea Flower Show. She described the proposal as 'perfect', adding that it was a 'very precious thing'. The couple have kept much of their relationship out of the public eye. All about Harris and Taylor Swift's high-profile relationship Before meeting Hope, Harris was involved in a widely publicised relationship with Taylor Swift between 2015 and 2016. During their time together, Swift co-wrote the hit single 'This Is What You Came For' under a pseudonym. The revelation caused tension, leading Harris to post a series of comments on social media, though he later deleted them. He eventually wrote: 'The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end. What remains is a huge amount of love and respect.' Now, far from the headlines of pop drama, Harris is preparing to become a father for the first time!

Rihanna Matches Her Own Biggest Song With Her High-Profile Collaboration
Rihanna just picked up another major accolade, and this latest one adds to an already massive list of historically-huge smashes. One of her most familiar hits, 'We Found Love,' a collaboration with Calvin Harris, reaches a new peak when it comes to certifications. The EDM-leaning smash has officially gone 11-times platinum in the United States, as it has now shifted another million equivalent units between sales and streaming since it first went diamond. With this latest update, the tune ties another one of Rihanna's blockbusters. According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), 'We Found Love' is now an 11-times-platinum-certified single. That means the track has officially moved at least 11 million equivalent units in the U.S. alone — a figure that combines both pure sales and streaming activity. The tune was originally certified diamond in the spring of 2023, becoming one of Rihanna's grandest winners as it reached that benchmark. As 'We Found Love' reaches 11 million units, it's now tied as Rihanna's most-certified single ever. The only other composition from her discography to reach that same level is 'Stay,' which has also climbed to the 11-times-platinum mark. That cut, which was originally released as a single featuring Mikky Ekko — though the RIAA does not credit him on the plaque — was updated in May 2024. Rihanna's ability to turn songs into steady performers is unmatched by nearly any other artist — and especially so among female musicians. So far, six of her singles have earned a diamond certification from the RIAA, meaning they've all moved at least 10 million units in the U.S. 'We Found Love' and 'Stay' are now the only two that have gone even further than that milestone figure. Behind them, 'Umbrella,' 'Work,' 'Needed Me,' and 'Diamonds' – all credited as solo affairs, even though that wasn't the case when some of them were released in many instances – have all hit the 10-million milestone as well. 'We Found Love' may be the most successful collaboration between Rihanna and Harris, but it's not their only major hit. The two teamed up again several years after their first smash for 'This Is What You Came For,' a track fronted by Harris that features Rihanna's vocals prominently, and it became another massive chart win. According to the RIAA, 'This Is What You Came For' has moved eight million equivalent units by the summer of 2023. That number has likely climbed since then, though no more awards have been added to its total just yet. It will likely become another diamond-certified tune in a matter of only a few years, if that. 'We Found Love' was released back in 2011 as the lead single from Rihanna's sixth full-length, Talk That Talk. The tune quickly became a global sensation, hitting No. 1 on the Hot 100 and staying there for 10 consecutive weeks. It won the Grammy Award for Best Music Video and played a major role in helping electronic dance music break into the pop mainstream at the time — a move that would shape the sound of the early 2010s.

My Predictions For REP TV!!! 🖤 🫶
Hey guys!!! We are back again with more predictions!!!! Today, I will be talking about the *HIGHLY* anticipated REP TV!!!! We have all clowned for this since 2022 lol. First, I will talk about announcement details!!! I think she's just going to post it on her Instagram like maybe six days before the release( bc it's TS6). I think this, because it already has enough hype and promotion. I think there will be no explanation, JUST REPUTATION!!!! Just as Taylor has said before. Number of songs? Kevin Mazur / Getty Images for TAS Rights Management We know the original "reputation" has 15 songs. We never got a deluxe version. So I think it will be fun to guess which vault tracks could've been deluxe tracks. I know she couldn't stop writing in the years of planning for the album originally. I think there might be like maybe 28 songs on the album (she was 28 when it released originally). VAULT TRACKSSSSSS I think we will have 13 vault tracks. I know it will include "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" and "This Is What You Came For". I am really excited to hear the others. She might have a song about snakes because she was called a snake. She might call it "Snake Day" or something about snakes. She has National Snake Day on her official calendar (which I own and use, it is not expensive at all). When????
