Tesco shoppers have until end of today to boost Clubcard points

Tesco customers have just a few hours to take advantage of a deal that will allow them to boost their Clubcard points Tesco Clubcard holders have an opportunity to double their points. But they will need to act fast. ‌ The supermarket giant is offering customers a £10 boost on their Clubcard when they swap at least £5 worth of points with one of the Days Out Reward Partners. Many favourite day out spots are included in the double points deal, such as Thorpe Park, Legoland, Pleasure Beach, and Alton Towers. ‌ When you trade your points with an eligible Reward Partner, you'll receive 1,000 Clubcard points, equivalent to £10, by October 19. However, shoppers only have until the end of today (July 28) to take this offer before it expires. ‌ How to exchange your Clubcard points To exchange your points, simply log into your Clubcard account via the Tesco grocery and Clubcard app. The app will show you a list of eligible Reward Partners that can give you those bonus points. Bear in mind, you can only claim the bonus once through an eligible exchange, even if you share a joint Clubcard account with family members. Also, the bonus points are solely available through Days Out Reward Partners, so entertainment partners like Disney+ are excluded. ‌ It comes after Tesco revealed last week that Clubcard members will benefit from more tailored rewards on selected products in its stores. Under the new change, customers can receive personalised Clubcard points on fresh fruit and vegetables which will be turned into bonus points and vouchers that can be used in-store. Additionally, Tesco has launched the Clubcard Challenges scheme, rewarding extra points for purchases of frozen fruits and vegetables, as well as pulses and beans. Ashwin Prasad, Tesco UK CEO, commented to say: "We understand that for many, there are barriers that make healthy eating feel hard. "We want to help our customers make small changes that amount to big health benefits for themselves and their families. That's why we're setting out to make healthy choices easier every day, starting with new offers and support for families in store this summer. "We're bringing customers new ways to earn Clubcard points and vouchers as a fun and engaging way to help them towards their five-a-day, on top of new and existing great value offers on healthy staples." Further details on some of the Days Out Rewards Partners available through the Clubcard deal can be found online here.

How to get two theme park visits for the price of one this summer

The cost of summer holiday activities can quickly add up, which is why we're always on the hunt for cost-effective ways to have fun. Case in point: if you're looking for a cheap family day out this summer, we've found a deal that will save on theme park visits. Until Sunday 17 August, when you book a ticket for Alton Towers, Chessington, Legoland Windsor or Thorpe Park, you'll get a ticket for a second visit for free. This doesn't mean visiting the same theme park twice, as it can be used at any of the four parks. In order to qualify, you'll need to pre-book a 'twice the fun' ticket to get your hands on the freebie. You'll then receive a confirmation email with a barcode, which you can use to make your second booking, so keep this handy. The second ticket is valid until Tuesday, 30 September, so there is plenty of time to squeeze in a second visit. It is rare for a free ticket offer to come along, particularly during peak season. Advanced tickets to the theme parks typically start from around £34, so if you're visiting as a family, that's a chunky saving for your second visit. You can book your visit using the links below, or keep reading if you want more inspiration on which of the theme parks to visit this summer. Alton Towers If you've got little thrill-seekers to entertain this summer, Alton Towers is worth a visit. There are nine roller coasters to enjoy, including the Toxicator, which is new for 2025, while younger kids can head to the rides and attractions in CBeebies Land. Alton Towers is located outside of Stoke-on-Trent, so if you're based in the north of England, this is likely to be your nearest major theme park. Chessington World of Adventures There are plenty of adventures for kids of all ages to enjoy at Chessington, with rides inspired by the fantasy board game Jumanji, the tales of the Gruffalo and more. Your ticket also includes a visit to the park's zoo and aquarium, with the chance to see penguins, giraffes, monkeys and zebras. The park is based just outside of London, and there are regular train services running from the capital to Chessington South, which is around a 10-minute walk away. Legoland Windsor There are more than 50 rides and attractions to enjoy at Legoland Windsor. Kids can cool off on a hot day in the splash safari water play park, hop aboard the Lego submarine as part of the deep-sea adventure, get behind the wheel at the Lego driving school and lots more. The theme park is two miles outside of Windsor town centre, with shuttle services available from nearby train stations. Thorpe Park If you or your youngsters can't get enough of roller coasters, a visit to Thorpe Park is a must. The theme park is home to Hyperia, the UK's tallest and fastest rollercoaster, plus five other rides for those that want an adrenaline-filled day out. There are also plenty of rides and play areas for little ones, so the whole family can enjoy the day. The theme park is located in Chertsey, which is about 30 minutes outside of London, with shuttle buses running to the park from nearby train stations.

I'm a theme park ‘fat tester' – I spent my day squeezing into seats at Thorpe Park & these are the rides you can't go on

A PLUS-SIZE woman has been dubbed a 'theme park fat tester' after spending the day seeing which rollercoasters she could fit into and which ones left her sat on the sidelines. Posting under Team Topsy on TikTok, the woman headed to Thorpe Park in Surrey to put ride restraints to the test and her viral video has had thousands of fellow thrill-seekers hooked. 2 2 Wearing leggings, trainers and a positive attitude, she spent the day climbing into test seats, checking harness space and asking staff for tips on how larger guests could still enjoy the park. She joked that she was '72 miles off' from fitting into Colossus but gave a full, no-nonsense review of what each ride was like for people in bigger bodies. Some rides like The Walking Dead and Detonator were surprisingly comfy, with wide seats and space to spare. Others, like Stealth, were a definite no as she couldn't even pull the harness down. She rated Nemesis Inferno as one of the best for plus-size riders, calling it an 'easy fit' and revealing that certain rows even have double seat belts designed for bigger bodies. She also praised the helpful staff who moved queues around to help her access special seats. But it wasn't all smooth sailing. On Hyperia, one of Thorpe Park 's most popular rides, she couldn't get the restraint to click, so her mate Susan had to ride alone. Susan, who rode several rides solo when her friend didn't fit, described Hyperia as 'the best ride ever' but admitted the airtime was so intense she felt like she might fly out of her seat. Samurai, Colossus and Saw were all marked as too tight for guests over a size 18. We Spent the Day at Thorpe Park and Rode EVERY Rollercoaster with the Family And she highlighted that rides with chest restraints could be especially tricky for those with larger busts. She explained that Samurai's locking system wouldn't close over her 63-inch chest and recommended others check out test seats first to avoid embarrassment at the front of the queue. The TikToker didn't sugar-coat it, saying that while Thorpe Park 's accessibility for mobility needs is great, with lifts, ramps and helpful staff but it's still hit or miss for plus-size guests. She summed it up by saying the park was 'not completely accessible for full-size bodies,' despite fitting on more rides than she did at Alton Towers. The key, she said, is to ask for the bigger seats and not be afraid to speak up. Fans praised her honesty in the comments, with one saying: 'As a plus-size person, I love this. Thanks for being real.' But others were cruel, calling her names and telling her not to bother going. One even wrote: 'Anything but a calorie deficit.' Still, she's not letting the trolls stop her and she's already planning to try more parks soon. As she put it: 'If I die, I die — but at least I had a laugh.' Use these tips on your next theme park trip Next time you visit a theme park, you may want to use our top tips to make the most of your adrenaline-inducing day out. Go to the back of the theme park first. Rides at the front will have the longest queues as soon as it opens. Go on water rides in the middle of the day in the summer - this will cool you off when the sun is at its hottest. Download the park's app to track which rides have the shortest queues. Visit on your birthday, as some parks give out "birthday badges" that can get you freebies. If it rains, contact the park. Depending on how much it rained, you may get a free ticket to return.

Tesco shoppers have just days to DOUBLE value of their Clubcard vouchers ahead of deadline

TESCO customers can bag themselves an extra £10 in Clubcard points — but only if they act fast. Shoppers across the UK have until Monday, July 29, to exchange at least £5 worth of Clubcard vouchers with one of Tesco's Days Out Reward Partners. 2 This offer can be accessed online or through the Tesco app and includes big-name attractions such as The London Eye, Longleat, West Midlands Safari Park, Cadbury World, and Thorpe Park. If you're planning a day out in Wales, options include a WWT annual membership, Tenpin, or the Arena Racing Company. To get the £10 boost, you'll need to convert your vouchers with one of Tesco's Days Out partners — it doesn't apply to their entertainment partners like Cineworld, Disney+, or Picturehouse. A Tesco spokesperson explained: 'To qualify for the £10 worth of Clubcard Points (1,000 Clubcard points), customers are required to exchange Clubcard vouchers for a Days Out Clubcard Reward Partner code via online or the Tesco app between 00:01 8 July 2025 and 23:59 29 July 2025.' There's a minimum exchange value of £5, and the bonus is limited to one reward per Clubcard membership. So even if you make more than one exchange, you'll still only get one £10 top-up. The extra points will be added to accounts by 19 October 2025. It's the latest in a string of Tesco offers aimed at helping customers stretch their money further. Earlier this year, Tesco reminded shoppers to use up Clubcard vouchers before they expired, and recently ran a popular triple points promo on select partners. Rival supermarkets have also launched their own reward schemes. Sainsbury's recently gave Nectar users triple points on selected brands in a weekend-only deal. SAVE HUNDREDS AT TESCO Asda handed out £5 bonuses through its Rewards app to customers spending £50 or more. Morrisons has been offering fuel savings of 5p per litre when shoppers spend £35 in-store. Lidl Plus customers have also been cashing in weekly digital coupons, including £10 off a £40 shop. With prices still high, these loyalty schemes are proving to be a lifeline for many families. MANY people lose or forget to use their Tesco vouchers, but there's an easy way to claw back the last two years of unused vouchers. Here's exactly how to find out if you have any unused vouchers. The first step is to log into your Tesco Clubcard account on or via the Clubcard app. You'll need your name, email address and Clubcard number to hand. Once you've logged in, navigate to "My Clubcard Account" and then click on "Vouchers" to see a full list of any vouchers you still have to spend. You can use the code included in your voucher to spend online. If you want to redeem them in-store, you'll need to print them off and take them with you. 2
