BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A contract employee at LSU's Tiger Stadium reportedly died in the venue after a medical emergency. According to LSU, on-site personnel attempted first aid Monday afternoon but were not successful. The workers' identity has not been shared at this time. The university released the following statement after the incident. 'We are saddened to share that a contract employee experienced a medical emergency earlier today at Tiger Stadium. On-site personnel responded with first aid, but the individual could not be revived. Our thoughts are with their family and colleagues.' LSU No further details were immediately available. With the new version of EA Sports College Football 26 coming out in just a matter of weeks, new details and reveals are coming out seemingly every day as fans prepare to get back on the digital gridiron. Advertisement On Tuesday, a new trailer for the revamped Dynasty Mode was revealed, as were the new rankings for the "toughest place to play" in the game. A year ago, this list sparked some controversy amongst college football fans, with Texas A&M's Kyle Field grabbing the No. 1 spot over the likes of LSU's Tiger Stadium, or Ohio State's Ohio Stadium. It appears that the creators at EA Sports were listening, because the new list of toughest places to play looks quite a bit different this year. EA Sports released the top 25 toughest places to play for the latest installment of its college football video game. In College Football 26, LSU's Tiger Stadium first as the toughest place to play of all the stadiums across the country. The next highest SEC stadium is Georgia's Sanford Stadium at No. 4 followed Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium at No. 5. Advertisement During week one of the 2025 season, the Tigers will play at Clemson's Memorial Stadium, which ranks No. 6 on the list. They play in Tuscaloosa in week 11 and end the regular season in Norman to face Oklahoma, which ranks No. 8. Last year, LSU took advantage of the atmosphere created by Tiger fans in Death Valley.
