I tried Starbucks' new tiramisu-inspired range I wasn't a huge fan of the tiramisu flavour If you love tiramisu, this may be the drink for you Starbucks has launched a brand-new range, which includes a trio of dessert-inspired drinks. I taste tested the brand-new range, and I was left feeling unsure if this range is the one for me. I tried Starbuck's brand-new dessert-inspired range and I'm unsure on the flavour | Starbucks I will start off by saying that I'm actually not a fan of tiramisu. However, I was intrigued by the fact the dessert inspired the brand-new coffees and was eager to give it a try for myself. I love iced coffee, and I'm always willing to try new flavours if I can. Before I dived in for a sip, the smell really caught my attention. You could smell the tiramisu flavour straight away, which for me wasn't necessarily a pleasant smell. When I took a drink of the Tiramisu Cream Iced Latte though, the flavour was less intense (in a good way), although you could certainly taste the tiramisu inspiration. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Personally, as someone who doesn't like tiramisu, this new range is not for me. Having said that, I did fully finish the coffee and it did get used to the flavour in the end. But for my personal taste, I just wasn't a huge fan. I do love a sweet coffee, and despite this drink being based on a dessert it had more of a bitter taste. I am by no means saying that this is a bad flavour. Starbucks fans drool over tiramisu-inspired drinks but are horrified by price

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Starbucks has shaken up its menu just in time for the summer season, introducing a trio of dessert-inspired beverages and a popular drink from across the pond. The coffee chain, which has been brewing since the 1970s, unveiled a fresh range of drinks yesterday (April 24). The new offerings are available to Rewards members now, while non-reward members can sample the updated menu from May 1. Prices vary from £2.90 to £5.40, with a few surprises thrown into the mix. However, opinions on the new beverages are divided. Drawing inspiration from the classic Italian dessert, Starbucks is adding three Tiramisu-themed drinks to its menu, promising to bring an "bringing an innovative twist" to a trending summer favourite. The new additions include the Tiramisu Cream Iced Latte, Tiramisu Cream Iced Oat Shaken Espresso, and Tiramisu Frappuccino blended beverage. From May 1, customers can also enjoy two new Starbucks Refresha drinks for the "ultimate cooling sip this summer". The Melon Pearl Starbucks Refresha drink, which has been a hit in the US, is making its debut on the UK menu. For those seeking a more tropical vibe, the Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresha drink, blended with ice, offers the perfect frosty treat to chill out and unwind under the summer sun. With summer on the horizon, Starbucks is also offering its customers new plant-based lunch options to enjoy alongside their warmer-weather beverages. The menu now includes a Mexican Style Three Bean Wrap and popular bakery items like the Boston Cream Muffin and Raspberry and Coconut Loaf Cake, perfect for those leisurely summer snack breaks outdoors. The announcement of Starbucks' updated menu quickly spread after being featured on the food enthusiast Instagram page New Foods UK, drawing plenty of reactions from followers. @newfoodsuk excitedly posted: "Wow! New drinks spotted on the @starbucksuk app this morning!". One follower exclaimed "Omg," clearly thrilled by the news, while another expressed an interest: "Need those oat shaken ones," Another suggested a social meetup: "Coffee date soon? ," tagging their companion in anticipation. Someone else seemed intrigued by one particular item, saying: "The melon pearl Refresha looks yummy!". (Image: AFP via Getty Images) However, not all customers were swept up by the new offerings. One sceptically remarked: "Not once have I thought I would like to have a dessert blended with coffee." Another was taken aback by the cost, quipping: "£5.45 each". Health-conscious voices also emerged, with one person expressing disappointment at the calorie count: "I'm a little disappointed that the Tiramisu Oat Shaken is four times the calories of the normal one." This sentiment was echoed by another customer, who wrote: "Put calories next to these images and that's it... it's a NO GO". To discover whether these items are available at a Starbucks near you, simply use the Starbucks UK app or visit the Starbucks Store Locator online and apply the 'Mobile Order and Pay' filter.
