Starbucks has introduced brand new and returning items to its menu recently – with prices ranging from £2.90 to £5.40. However, the options have divided fans of the coffee giant Starbucks has changed up what's on the menu recently – just in time for summer. A trio of dessert-inspired drinks have been introduced, as well as a drink from the US. The coffee giant, which has been running since the '70s, launched a brand new range of drinks yesterday (April 24). Rewards members can access the menu now, and non-reward members can access the new menu from May 1. Prices range from £2.90 to £5.40 and there are some fun surprises too. But while some think the beverages sound delicious, others aren't so sure about them. ‌ Inspired by the iconic Italian pudding with flavours of vanilla and mascarpone, Starbucks is bringing three new, Tiramisu-inspired, beverages to the menu. The company promised to be "bringing an innovative twist" to a trending summer classic. These include the Tiramisu Cream Iced Latte, Tiramisu Cream Iced Oat Shaken Espresso and Tiramisu Frappuccino blended beverage. From 1 May, customers will also be able to get their hands on two new Starbucks Refresha drinks for the "ultimate cooling sip this summer". Plus, the Melon Pearl Starbucks Refresha drink is joining the UK menu after roaring success in the US. For something more tropical, the Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Starbucks Refresha drink, blended with ice is the perfect frozen sip to cool off and relax in the summer sun. ‌ Arriving to complement the summer beverages, customers can enjoy new plant-based lunch items including Mexican Style Three Bean Wrap or the returning bakery items Boston Cream Muffin and Raspberry and Coconut Loaf Cake on al-fresco Summer snack breaks. New drinks spotted on the @starbucksuk app this morning!" "Omg," said one in excitement. "Need those oat shaken ones," insisted another. "Coffee date soon?," another asked as they tagged a friend. And one other added: "The melon pearl Refresha looks yummy!" ‌ Despite the positivity under the post, some customers weren't convinced. The drinks start from £4.95 – and are designed to give a sweet twist to your usual caffeine hit. But the sweet stuff doesn't stop there. Also arriving next week is the new Melon Pearl Starbucks Refresha, packed with popping melon pearls, and the Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Refresha, a tropical ice-blended drink loaded with fruit flavour. The updated programme promised that customers would be able to earn free drinks more quickly, but they would need to spend more to qualify for other perks. Additionally, while freebies became easier to obtain, achieving "gold" membership status became more challenging. When announcing the changes, Starbucks said: "We will be switching up your Stars from 3 per £1 to 10 per £1! "We're updating the Starbucks Rewards program in the new year. "Introducing new products and tiers for Star redemption and refining Gold Level status, including amending the Gold Level threshold to 2500 Stars. "Meanwhile, your Star value, credit, any free drinks and Reward status remain the same throughout the update." The company also reassured customers that Stars would still be redeemable for up to two years and could now be used across a wider range of items.
