Halsey opens 2025 For My Last Trick Tour with hits, deep cuts and new live debuts

Halsey opened her 2025 For My Last Trick Tour on Saturday, May 10, at the Toyota Pavilion at Concord with a setlist that spanned her entire career, including new tracks, fan favourites, and rarely performed songs. The tour supports her 2024 album The Great Impersonator, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The performance, described by The Arizona Republic as a two-act show titled Alice Falls Down the Rabbit Hole and The Show, featured conceptual interludes and theatrical staging. Several songs were performed live for the first time, including 'Darwinism' and 'Alice of the Upper Class,' while older material like 'Alone,' 'Control,' and 'Angel on Fire' returned to the setlist for the first time since 2019. Act I included tracks such as 'Bad at Love,' 'Lucky,' 'Lilith,' and 'Graveyard.' The theatrical segment also featured video and audio interludes like 'I wanna be big!' and 'alice feels too big,' enhancing the narrative. Halsey also performed 'I am Not a Woman, I'm a God' and 'Only Living Girl in LA.' Act II featured hit singles including 'You Should Be Sad,' 'Colors,' 'Closer,' 'Drive,' and 'Gasoline,' culminating with the live debut of 'Alice of the Upper Class.' The encore included three major crowd-pleasers: 'Nightmare,' the chart-topping 'Without Me,' and the title track from her latest album, 'The Great Impersonator.' While the setlist may change from night to night, fans can expect a similarly immersive and nostalgic experience as the tour continues. The next show takes place at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre in Phoenix on May 12.

Halsey and Evanescence's Amy Lee Join Forces for New Track 'Hand That Feeds'

Halsey and Amy Lee of Evanescence have teamed up for a new collaboration, 'Hand That Feeds' The song marks the first collab for the pair, who Lee noted on social media are "fans of each other's work" Halsey hits the road on the For My Last Trick tour on May 10Amy Lee and Halsey have been "fans of each other's work" for a while, but now they're putting it on record. The Evanescence vocalist, 43, and "You Should Be Sad" singer, 30, have officially teamed up for a new collaboration, 'Hand That Feeds," released on Friday, May 9. The ballad, part of the soundtrack to From the World of John Wick: Ballerina, features the pair harmonizing with Lee showing off her signature belts. It serves as a treat to fans ahead of Evanescence joining Halsey as a guest during her forthcoming Wednesday, May 14 gig at the Hollywood Bowl. "So thrilled to bring you a new song, 'Hand That Feeds' with @halsey THIS FRIDAY," Lee wrote of the moment on X. "We've been fans of each other's work for a long time and it really feels like the universe pulled us together for this moment." "We already had the Hollywood Bowl show in place when @Lionsgate invited us to work on a song for the @ballerinamovie together, and it's finally time to serve it UP! Cannot wait for you all to hear!! 🖤" The song arrives ahead of the June release of Ballerina, which stars Ana de Armas in a spinoff of the popular Keanu Reeves-starring film franchise. It also arrives just before Halsey hits the road on their For My Last Trick tour, which kicks off on May 10 at Toyota Pavilion at Concord in Concord, Calif. From there, Halsey is set to continue the 32-date trek around North America by hitting stops in Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, St. Louis and beyond — with their final tour date on July 6 at the Yaamava' Theater in Highland, Calif. Other special guests will include Del Water Gap, The Warning, Alvvays, Hope Tala, Sir Chloe, Royel Otis, Flowerovlove, Magdalena Bay, and Alemeda at select dates. Back in February, Halsey detailed the tour on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, sharing that she "really" likes "putting on a big show." "I think people are usually pretty surprised when they come see me in concert. Especially if they only know me for the songs on the radio," Halsey said. "The show can be quite aggressive. I'm like a little demon. I'm like a little demon up there.... I get out there and have to exorcise some stuff." Halsey released her fifth studio LP, The Great Impersonator, in October, while Evanescence's last full-length studio album, The Bitter Truth, arrived in 2021. As for Ballerina, outside of de Armas and Reeves, the film also features appearances from Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus and Ian McShane. It arrives in theaters on June 6. Read the original article on People
