One dead, three injured after six-vehicle crash near Nixa
CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Mo. — A crash between six different vehicles killed one person and seriously injured three others on U.S. 160 two miles south of Nixa Thursday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The MSHP crash report states that a 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was northbound on U.S. 160 at around 8:52 p.m. when it crossed into the opposite lane and struck a southbound 2000 Pontiac Firebird. The collision caused another motorcycle to hit the rear of the Harley-Davidson and skid off the east side of the road, striking a northbound 2014 Toyota Rav-4. The Pontiac skidded across the center of the highway and crashed head-on into a northbound 2019 GMC Sierra. Jury finds Nixa man guilty of killing wife in 2019 A sixth vehicle on southbound U.S. 160 — a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer — was also struck by debris from the crash. MSHP says the driver of the Pontiac, a 47-year-old woman from Highlandville, was pronounced dead by the Christian County Sheriff's Office. The driver of the GMC Sierra and the two motorcyclists received serious injuries and were taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. No other injuries were reported. A 27-year-old woman was injured after a three-vehicle crash in Darke County Monday evening. Hartzell failed to yield the right of way to a Toyota Rav-4 driven by 27-year-old Suzette Ferguson of Richwood that was traveling southeast of State Route 49. The two vehicles collided, and Hartzell's vehicle spun into a Peterbilt 337 truck driven by 41-year-old Stephen Lamb of West Milton, who was stopped on Grubbs-Rex Road. Ferguson was taken to Wayne Healthcare and treated for minor injuries. Hartzell was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left. 2 women bound with tape during home invasion in Queens: NYPD
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – Two women were viciously attacked during a home invasion in Queens last Wednesday, according to the NYPD. It happened near Mayfair Road and 116th Street around 7:30 p.m. Police said five suspects are accused of forcefully entering a home and shoving a 53-year-old woman to the ground. More Local News The 53-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman were then bound with tape, according to authorities. The group allegedly stole jewelry, purses, clothing and other items worth over $1.1 million, police said. Surveillance video shows the suspects, all wearing masks, shoving the door open and rushing inside. The group is then seen leaving the house, holding various items. The suspects were accused of fleeing the scene in a white 2021 Toyota Rav-4, according to authorities. No injuries were reported. 3 dead including 5-year-old in Osceola County head-on crash
A head-on crash in Osceola County on Sunday left three people dead including a 5-year-old boy, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened at 2:51 p.m. when a 2018 Ford F-150 was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 441 at Yates Ranch Road, according to an FHP crash report. The F-150 driving in the wrong lane struck a northbound 2021 Toyota Rav-4, the report said. The Rav-4 ran off the roadway and overturned, killing three of its five occupants, all of whom were from Orlando. A 54-year-old woman and 34-year-old woman were pronounced dead on the scene. The 5-year-old boy was pronounced dead after being transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne. The F-150 driver, a 34-year-old Jensen Beach man, and driver of the Rav-4, a 34-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Holmes Regional Medical Center while a 9-month-old boy that was also passenger in the Rav-4 was transported to Arnold Palmer Hospital with minor injuries. Only the 34-year-old woman in the Rav-4 was not wearing a seatbelt, the report said. This crash remains under investigation.

Officials said a Ford F-150 was driving the wrong way on North Kenansville Road near Yates Ranch Road around 2:51 p.m. before crashing into a Toyota Rav-4. The impact caused the Toyota to run off the roadway and flip, according to troopers. A 54-year-old and 34-year-old woman who were occupants in the Toyota were pronounced dead on scene. A 5-year-old boy who was also a passenger in the vehicle later died at an area hospital, according to officials. The drivers of both vehicles were transported with minor injuries. A 9-month-old was also transported after the crash. Officials have not said if there will be any charges in the crash.
