Is Traci About to Expose the Abbotts After May 28 Young and Restless?

Traci came back to The Young and the Restless on May 28 and she assured her brother that she was dealing with her Martin-caused trauma by writing all about it in her new novel. Traci admitted it was hard, since she was sharing such personal details, but she assured her family it would be worth it. Jack predicted another Traci Abbott best-seller. But will he be equally as enthused once Traci's book blows up his world? Traci (Beth Maitland) thinks she's writing fiction. But everybody knows all fiction has to come at least partially from the writer's own experiences. Especially since Traci has already said this book will be based on her drama with Martin (Christopher Cousins). But in order for Traci to create a 'fictional' character who would fall prey to such a scheme, she has to ask herself, 'What made this woman so desperate for love that she'd be willing to accept it from anyone? Even a man who was unhinged and criminal? How could she not see the warning signs? Is it because she didn't want to?' And when Traci goes digging there, what might she turn up? MORE: Get the full scoop on today's hot plots! Traci, as the youngest Abbott, lost her mother at the earliest age. Sure, John (Jerry Douglas) tried to step up. But he had his hands fool with Jack (Peter Bergman), his only son and heir, who spent his teens and twenties being the player about town. Jack left John a lot of messes to clean up. Meanwhile, there was Traci's older sister, Ashley (Eileen Davidson). She was brilliant – a chemist at the family company. She was popular and self-assured and gorgeous. John called Ashley 'my beauty.' And he called Traci… Traci. That's going to leave scars. MORE: Find out what's coming up tomorrow. What if, in writing her 'fiction,' Traci ends up accidentally exposing Abbott family secrets? She can insist she made it all up. But the reading public will have their suspicions. So will her siblings. Will this book that's supposed to promote healing, end up tearing Traci and her family apart?

What Happened Today On Young and the Restless May 28? Traci & Diane Bonded

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, May 28 saw Traci coming home, Claire party planning, and Victor making a scene. The Abbott mansion had a warm glow today, literally and emotionally, as Traci (Beth Maitland) returned home to a refresh that wasn't just cosmetic. Diane (Susan Walters) was proud to show off the updates and hoped they would impress her sister-in-law. Traci, still fragile after her devastating fallout with Martin (Christopher Cousins), found the new atmosphere comforting. She could feel the heart of the home beating stronger than ever. While she praised Diane's efforts, Traci couldn't help but open up about her lingering heartbreak. Diane gently reminded her that needing love doesn't make her weak. The conversation was heartfelt, with Traci admitting she still missed the way 'Alan' once made her feel. But now, she was focused on writing through her pain (literally) by turning the chaos into a novel. MORE: Find out what's coming up on Y&R. Jack and Diane finished welcoming Traci with open arms. Harrison (Redding Munsell) made an adorable appearance, and Traci quietly disappeared upstairs to settle in. Over at the Jazz Lounge, Claire (Hayley Erin) was on a mission to throw Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) a birthday party fit for a queen. Something classy, intimate, and unforgettable. With Pietro's (Jai Rodriguez) help and Kyle's (Michael Mealor) support, Claire was determined to make a statement, not just to Nikki but also to Victor (Eric Braeden). She hoped the night would show her grandfather that Kyle was the right man for her. Kyle tried to stay optimistic, though he knew winning Victor over was no easy feat. Still, Claire was all in, even helping Harrison pick out the perfect gift for his honorary grandmother. Meanwhile, Newman Enterprises was brimming with tension. Nikki confided in Victoria (Amelia Heinle), worried that Victor might ban Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) from attending her party. With Michael's abrupt resignation and Victor's finger-pointing at the Abbotts, the atmosphere was thick with suspicion. And, she was right to worry. Later, Jack confronted Victor at the GCAC, the temperature rose further. Victor brushed off the confrontation, but Nick picked up on his father's growing paranoia. Dumas's name continued to circulate, and it seemed Nikki might be at the center of a brewing storm. Afterwards at the club, Victor pivoted from rage to romance by surprising Nikki with a refurbished music box that played one of her early compositions. It was sweet—until their conversation swung back to Dumas, Kyle, and Claire. Victoria pushed back hard against her father's interference, warning him not to sabotage Claire's happiness. Victor, unbothered, clung to his conviction that Kyle would only break Claire's heart. Back at the Abbott mansion, Jack and Diane welcomed Traci with open arms. Harrison made an adorable appearance, and Traci quietly disappeared upstairs to settle in—perhaps finally on her path to healing. One thing's certain: between broken hearts, big birthdays, and budding tensions, Genoa City is on the edge of a storm.

Memorial Medical Center names Mercy Award winner

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Memorial Medical Center (MMC) has named its 2025 Mercy Award Winner, according to the hospital on Tuesday, May 6, in Las Cruces. Traci White, Memorial Medical Center's clinical pharmacy specialist in oncology and palliative care, was announced as the 2025 Mercy Award winner. 'To say our hospital, Cancer Center and community are blessed to have Traci is an understatement. Her heart is truly one in a million,' said Dennis Knox, CEO of Memorial Medical Center. 'We are incredibly proud of Traci, we are thrilled to bestow this honor on her, and we know she will represent MMC extremely well at the national level of this award process.' The Mercy Award is a Lifepoint Health (parent company) award that highlights one employee from each facility nationwide who 'profoundly touches the lives of others and best represents the spirit and values on which the company was founded. The award is considered the highest honor a Lifepoint employee can receive,' according to the news release by MMC. According to Memorial Medical Center, White was one of only seven pharmacists nationwide to be double-Board certified in oncology and geriatric pharmacy. Before working at MMC, White was working at a local hospital agency and began working at Memorial Medical Center in 2019. White also started the Palliative Care Program at the hospital, where she recognized a 'great need in our community and region to improve the care for serious and/or terminal illness,' MMC said. According to MMC, White has served as the Chair of the Las Cruces Palliative Care Coalition since 2022, the Community Advisory Board for the New Mexico State University Cancer Outreach Core and is a regional leader for the Network for Collaborative Oncology Development and Advancement. In addition, White has also served on the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Advisory Group on pain management and palliative care and the development committee for the Society of Pain and Palliative Care Pharmacists, MMC said. While juggling board position, White also serves at the University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University for the colleges of pharmacy and pharmacy residents, MMC said. Each Lifepoint Health facility winner, including White, will be considered for Lifepoint's 2025 company-wide Mercy Award. The winner will be announced this summer and honored during a ceremony in Nashville in August, according to MMC. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. The Three Sketchiest Young and the Restless Moments of the Week April 14

The Young and the Restless knows how to bring the drama and April 14 – 18 was no exception. Between Traci taking her leave and this mess with Dumas, we were on our toes all week! Just when we finally thought Traci (Beth Maitland) was getting it all, everything fell apart. Instead of looking forward to a wedding and a happily ever after, her betrothed was exposed as a devious and dangerous lying liar and is locked away (hopefully for good). On Monday, Traci decided wallowing wasn't in her best interest. Instead, she announced she and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) are off to New York so she can put the pieces back together and repair her heart. But, we have to wonder if making this move will anger Martin and cause him to create even more chaos. MORE: What happens if Martin escapes? Dumas, Dumas, Dumas…that's the name that's on everyone's lips in Genoa City. Who is this mystery player and what do they want? Well, according to Damian, it's not a person at all, it's a front. To say Lily was shocked on Tuesday was an understatement, and we have to admit we were shocked too. Could this be true? Does Dumas not really exist at all? Something seems sketchy, and we can't wait to see how this will play out. MORE: We can't stop thinking about Dumas… Victor (Eric Braeden) thought he got one over on Jack (Peter Bergman) and Kyle (Michael Mealor), but they figured him out on Wednesday. They trapped his spy, Eliot, and made the man a double agent. They played their hand well and once all the cards were on the table, Eliot had no choice to bend to the Abbott's will. It was a series of twisty little twists that had us tickled pink. Don't count Victor out, though. Eliot was a spy, but Audra (Zuleyka Silver) is his secret weapon. On Friday, she took his call, took the bait, and was just as excited as he was to ruin Kyle's entire life.

Young and the Restless Recap April 9: Traci Demands The Truth From Alan

The Young and the Restless recap for Wednesday, April 9, sees Traci demand the truth from Alan after Ashley insists that Alan is Martin. Chance asks Alan to go down to the station, and so much more. Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) found Summer (Allison Lanier) alone at Crimson Lights. Phyllis said the police still had no solid leads, only more questions. She told Summer about a new clue involving a gas device and a house leased just outside town. When she brought up Alan (Christopher Cousins), Summer was confused, saying she had met him and he seemed perfectly nice. Phyllis explained the current theory—Chance (Conner Floyd) believed Alan might have died and that his deranged twin brother, Martin, had taken his place. Summer was shocked to learn the man who may have kidnapped her mom had been living in the same house as Harrison (Redding Munsell). Phyllis tried to reassure her. She vowed to get to the truth. Then she asked about Summer's relationship with Chance. Summer admitted they had ended things. Phyllis assumed Chance couldn't handle the drama surrounding their family. Summer defended him, saying he was great with Harrison, but admitted she wasn't completely over Kyle (Michael Mealor). Phyllis told her that kind of emotion was normal, but Summer didn't want to make Chance wait while she sorted things out. Phyllis hoped this didn't mean she was trying to reunite with Kyle. MORE: Find out what happens next on Y&R. Meanwhile, Sharon (Sharon Case) confided in Nick (Joshua Morrow) about her sessions with Alan, worried she might've said something that could have been used against her. They speculated about Alan's identity, especially since Traci (Beth Maitland) no longer trusted him. Chance arrived and revealed the abductor had been watching from a nearby farmhouse. He also recovered Sharon and Phyllis's old phones. While nothing yet tied Alan to the scene, they were awaiting fingerprint results from Paris. Then Chance received a tip about Alan's return and left to confront him. READ MORE: Could this surprising person be behind the kidnapping? At the hotel, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) listened in on a conversation between Traci and Alan using her phone. Traci told Alan she wasn't canceling the wedding, just postponing it. Alan seemed hurt and confused. Traci grew uneasy, and Alan noticed her hand in her pocket and guessed she had called Jack for help. Jack burst in with Ashley, pretending they just came to visit. Ashley confronted Alan, noting she hadn't seen him in Paris. Alan pushed Traci to explain, and she said she wanted a longer engagement. Alan thought somebody had changed her mind and insisted love should be enough. When he tried to leave, Traci begged him not to go upset. He walked out anyway. Traci broke down, telling Jack and Ashley that she hated how things turned out. The Alan she knew would have supported her decision. Ashley insisted it wasn't Alan — it had been Martin all along. She was sure of it, recalling how calculated and controlling he had been. Traci broke down in tears. Jack called Chance and reported that Alan had left and Ashley believed he was actually Martin. Chance soon spotted Alan at the bar and approached him. He questioned him about the farmhouse and asked if his fingerprints would be found there. Alan brushed it off as a billing mistake. Chance asked Alan to come to the station. Back in her suite, Traci told her siblings that Alan had once made her feel heard and supported, but after the proposal, he'd grown strangely demanding. She wondered if she'd driven him away or if his mask had simply slipped. Ashley said that it wasn't her fault — it was Martin. Overwhelmed, Traci ran out of the room, and her siblings chased after her. Traci demanded Alan tell her his true identity.
