Trustar Seeks Up to $1 Billion Loan for Loscam Dividend Payout
Asian private equity firm Trustar Capital is in talks with banks for an around $900 million to $1 billion loan to fund a payout to the shareholders of pallet maker Loscam Asia Pacific Co., which it owns a stake in alongside FountainVest Partners, according to people familiar with the matter.
Trustar, formerly known as Citic Capital, is reaching out to regional and international banks for the loan, which could carry a tenor of five years, the people said, who asked not to be identified discussing private matters. The borrowing's details could change as discussions are ongoing, the people added.
