Partisans disrupt Russian weapons supply to Kursk Oblast
Partisans from the ATESH resistance movement have claimed that they have conducted a sabotage operation, disabling a relay cabinet in Russia's Tula Oblast and slowing down the supply of weapons and military equipment to Kursk Oblast. Source: ATESH on Telegram Quote: "Our movement agents set fire to a facility located on the railway track near Yasnogorsk, on the route leading towards Kursk Oblast, where a grouping of Russian occupiers is concentrated." Details: ATESH explained that their planned action had aimed to slow down the supply of weapons and military equipment to the battlefield. Quote: "This action was carefully planned: the damaged relay cabinet provides communication and control of track switches on a critically important section of the railway. Without timely power supply, the automated systems cannot redirect trains, causing serious delays in the movement of freight trains." "All of this delays the redeployment of reserves and complicates the organisation of new [Russian] offensive operations." Support Ukrainska Pravda on Patreon!

Drones attack Russian chemical plant Azot
The Azot chemical plant was attacked on the night of 23-24 May in Novomoskovsk, Tula Oblast, Russian media reported. Source: Astra Telegram channel; Meduza, a Latvia-based Russian media outlet Details: A fire broke out at Novomoskovsk Azot Joint Stock Company as a result of a drone attack at night on 23-24 May. This is also evidenced by footage from the site. One of the images shows smoke in the area of the plant. Astra geolocated the footage – the photo (screenshot from the video) was taken on a section of the road leading from the M-4 motorway to Novomoskovsk, near the village of Moshok, about 4 kilometres from the plant. The governor of the oblast said that a damaged container with acid was found at the plant that was attacked by the drone. Samples showed no excess of maximum permissible concentrations of harmful substances in the air. In total, Russia reported nearly a hundred downed drones overnight. For reference: The company's website states that Novomoskovsk Azot is the largest domestic producer of ammonia and nitrogen fertilisers and one of the industry's leading producers by type and quantity of products. Russian chemical plant, missile parts manufacturer targeted in alleged Ukrainian drone strike
A Russian factory in Lipetsk Oblast making missile parts and a chemical plant in Tula Oblast were targeted by drones overnight on May 24, independent news channel Astra reported. The Energia facility, which lies in the Lipetsk Oblast city of Yelets, was attacked for the second night in a row, with residents reporting at least five explosions overnight, Astra reported. Governor Igor Artamonov confirmed that drone wreckage fell in the city's industrial district, adding there were no casualties. The extent of damage to the plant is not immediately clear. The city of Yelets lies some 250 kilometers (150 miles) north of the Russia-Ukraine border. The Ukrainian military confirmed an earlier attack against the sanctioned facility on May 23, noting that the plant is Russia's "only manufacturer of batteries for glide and correction modules installed on aircraft bombs," and also produces parts for ballistic and cruise missiles. In Tula Oblast, the Azot chemical plant in Novomoskovsk came under a drone strike, starting a fire, Astra reported. The channel shared footage of what appears to be smoke rising from the targeted facility. The Azot company specializes in the production of ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers, as well as organic plastics, resins, chlorine, nitric acid, and more, according to open sources. Dmitry Milyaev, the governor of Tula Oblast, confirmed an overnight drone attack, saying that a fire at a gas pipeline in Novomoskovsk was extinguished and three people were injured. The city lies some 400 kilometers (250 miles) north of the Russia-Ukraine border. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed its forces had downed 104 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 74 in Belgorod Oblast, 24 in Bryansk Oblast, two in Lipetsk Oblast, and one in Tula Oblast. Ukraine has not commented on the claims, which could not be independently verified. Ukrainian forces regularly launch long-range drone strikes against Russia's military and industrial targets in the rear, aiming to undermine its ability to wage its all-out war.
