Stacey Dooley slammed by fans as Lily Phillips stars in her new TV series
OnlyFans star Lily Phillips will star in the first episode of the sixth season of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over - and some fans of the TV presenter have expressed their disappointment Stacey Dooley has been criticised by some fans after it was announced that Lily Phillips will be starring in the new season of her TV show. The presenter 's show Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, which sees her spend 72 hours in the company of a wide range of characters and families, is returning for a sixth season. It will air on U and U&W later this year, with 23-year-old OnlyFans star Lily - known for having sex with 100 men in a day - starring in the first episode. As part of the series, Stacey will meet Lily in her London home to learn more about her career and what the content creator does. As news of the new season was announced this week, Stacey, 38, said: "I'm thrilled to be back for another series of Sleeps Over! "Truly, it's such a loved format and people always remind me of their fave moments when I'm out and about. We've got another 3 episodes that you're gonna love! The themes we touch on feel incredibly timely. As always, a sincere thank you to those families who agree to open their doors. Strap in!" U&W director of programming Adam Collings added: "Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over has become a U&W audience favourite, no doubt due to the array of families and their stories, but of course Stacey being at the heart and gaining unprecedented access to their homes. Her warmth and compassion allow for a safe judgement-free environment, giving viewers an open and honest conversation, which is what makes this series so special." After news of the upcoming season was shared on social media, many fans congratulated Stacey, but others expressed their disappointment at the fact that Lily will be starring in it. One wrote on Instagram: "Pretty grim giving that deviant airtime, not a single positive thing can come from the trainwreck of her life, screams if the worst click bait, expected better tbh." Another said: "Really disappointing, just don't think Stacey Dooley should be promoting or giving this girl a platform. Lowest derivative entertainment, a real regression in content from you Stacey." Someone else joked: "If she is sleeping over at Lilly Phillips' gaff I strongly suggest she gets the sheets fumigated!" However, some people were more supportive with one saying: "Omg wow this will be so interesting!!!!" Someone else added: "Can't wait. Love these shows x." Another praised Stacey for giving Lily a platform to talk about herself, writing: "This is so exciting! I was so touched by the documentary that came out about her and have been wanting to hear more about her. Stacey is the perfect person for this I absolutely love the compassionate and thoughtful way she covers sex workers." The Mirror has contacted Stacey Dooley's representative for comment.

Katherine Ryan pregnant with fourth child as she shows off growing bump
The comedian is expecting her third baby with husband Bobby Kootstra, a spokesperson confirmed. Katherine Ryan has confirmed she's pregnant with her fourth child. The comedian is already mum to Violet, 15, three-year-old son Fred and Fenna, two. Katherine shares her youngest kids with childhood sweetheart Bobby Kootstra, who she reconnected with during filming for BBC's Who Do You Think You Are. Fans started becoming convinced the funny woman, 41, was expecting again after some hints on Violet's TikTok last week and on Monday this week, she attended an event in London and couldn't hide a burgeoning baby bump. The Canadian star looked glowing as she stunned in a tight dress which showed off all her curves - and bump - as she took to the red carpet for the Ageing and Biohacking: The Science of Immortality event at SXSW in the capital. She then took to the stage to give a speech, as writes the Mirror. The happy health news comes just months after the star revealed that she had been diagnosed with a cancerous mole on her arm after previously having melanoma when she was younger. She said on her podcast: "The mole kept changing, I know a lot about melanoma, I had stage two melanoma as a very young woman - aged 21 - on my leg, I've spoken about that before. But even when he looked at it, he was like, 'it's not melanoma, it's totally fine, I will do a shave and send it away for testing'." Katherine pushed for medics to take a closer look despite being told she had nothing to worry about. Soon after the doctor reassured Katherine once more that it was likely not melanoma, she was called back with the confirmation that it was cancerous. The Netflix Duchess star has been open about her desire for a fourth child and spoke about her feelings on her fertility on her U&W show At Home With Katherine Ryan. She said: "It's not that surprising that over-40 women have fewer follicles than we once did. "But we talk a lot about male fertility as well, which is on a steep decline. But I would still like a fourth baby. We are so blessed to have the kids that we do have. Having children is not for everyone, but I personally really like making people. I think it's a superpower, if you can do it." Katherine and Bobby have suffered three miscarriages since he moved to the UK from Canada after they rekindled their teenage romance in 2018 when she returned to Canada to film Who Do You Think You Are? She previously raised Violet on her own after becoming a single mum at 25. She told OK! Magazine last year: "I'm old. I used to think I was going to be the babies' dad because I'm working but actually I'm like their grandmother. "My back hurts, sometimes I give them treats. I'm like a fun grandma." She went on: "We've always gotten pregnant with the babies quite quickly. I've been pregnant five times in five years, but that also means I've had three miscarriages in five years and the likelihood of that increases as you get older. "You have to find a balance between what you can personally stand and risks you're willing to take." Katherine has made it clear that surrogacy isn't for her. "It's controversial to say but I wouldn't want that labour – both literal and also the workload – to fall on another woman," she said. "I think surrogacy is wonderful. It's beautiful for people who are really eager to offer it and for couples who need it but for me, I think it would be exploitative." Katherine also spoke about how having children with Bobby has been different to when she was a single parent. "Now Bobby has come into the picture, the babies are here and everyone is well supported because we're a family unit," she explained. "I think arguably it's better for the children to have siblings and a dad at home, but Violet and I were really happy and I like to intensely love one thing or one person."

Beloved celebrity couple's reality show AXED - despite killer ratings and pair teasing new series
Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez 's reality show has been axed, despite its killer ratings - and the pair previously teasing that a new series was to come. Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind The Lens, which followed the couple's lives with their two children behind the scenes, has been cancelled after only two series, The Sun reports. The radio presenter, 40, and professional dancer, 34, met as co-stars on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, despite not being dance partners on the show. But their relationship soon blossomed and they announced they were dating in 2018 - and now they share Mia, five, and Thiago, one. A spokesperson for UKTV - which owns U&W, the channel the pair's series aired on - said: 'It's been a privilege to make two series of Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind the Lens with Two Rivers Media. 'Gemma and Gorka are both very busy with other projects at the moment, so at this time, there are no current plans for another series, but we look forward to working with them again soon.' The announcement comes as a shock following Gemma's suggestion in November last year that the reality show would likely return - because it did so well. When asked if it would return at the Pride of Britain Awards, she told the Express: 'Potentially, yeah. 'We're currently in talks to do it but we keep thinking, "Why do people want to keep watching us doing nothing?" 'But it did really well, it was like the biggest show on their channel so possibly.' The fly-on-the-wall programme promised to 'follow the unfiltered lives of actress and radio presenter Gemma Atkinson and professional dancer Gorka Marquez' when it hit our screens in August 2023. The first series, which had just three episodes, primarily followed Gemma's pregnancy with their son Thiago. Fans saw Gorka try to balance his dance tour with preparations for his son's arrival - and were even let into the couple's baby shower, before Thiago's arrival in the final episode. The programme was a smash hit, returning for a second series in May last year - focussing this time on how they were adjusting to life as a family of four, across six episodes. The announcement comes as a shock following Gemma's suggestion in November last year that the reality show would likely return - because it did so well The couple said at the time: 'We're excited to be back on your screens for our second series. 'The messages we received, and are still receiving from the first series, have blown us away. 'We're glad so many families can relate to ours and the crazy, wonderful, and exhausting world of parenthood!' Gemma rose to fame on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks and its various spin-offs before roles in BBC medical drama Casualty and rival ITV soap Emmerdale. She made the move into presenting in 2017, taking the drivetime slot on Hits Radio. The Greater Manchester-born star was partnered with Aljaz Skorjanec when she appeared on Strictly that same year, making it all the way to final. She hit it off with Gorka backstage and the couple welcomed their daughter Mia in July 2019, getting engaged two years later, on Valentine's Day 2021. They appeared as dance partners on the Strictly Christmas Special in 2019, dancing a jive to I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and coming runners-up to Debbie McGee and her partner Kevin Clifton. Fans saw Gorka try to balance his dance tour with preparations for his son's arrival - and were even let into the couple's baby shower, before Thiago's arrival in the final episode. Pictured: Their reality show It comes after the devastating news yesterday that another Strictly star's TV programme has been axed, with ITV cancelling Chris McCausland's chat show in a move away from the studio interview format. The comedian, 47, landed his own programme The Chris McCausland Show, which aired on Saturday mornings at 8:30am on ITV from June last year. The programme saw Chris - who is blind due to retinitis pigmentosa - interviewing a number of famous faces including Celebrity Big Brother's Donna Preston, singer Pixie Lott, funnyman Rob Beckett and actress Taj Atwell. But after just one series, it has been shelved, despite the popularity of the Strictly winner, who won the show with dance partner Dianne Buswell last year. A source told the Sun: 'ITV appears to be moving away from studio-based chat shows in their weekend schedule. 'In the last number of years they've invested heavily in their daytime programmes and have given new faces an opportunity to shine. 'Chris was a breath of a fresh air, but ultimately there are no plans for his show to return.' ITV's description of the show said: 'This 11-episode series will feature a brilliant line-up of celebrity guests and will be packed with humour, insights and inevitable shenanigans. 'Chris will immerse his guests in his audio world with interactive games that will have viewers of all ages laughing and playing along at home. 'And to top it all off, he'll have live acoustic performances that will be the soundtrack of your weekend.' Fans of the show will be happy to know that all 11 episodes are available to watch on ITVX.

Pete Wicks' huge career update as hit TV show set to return for two more series
Former TOWIE star Pete Wicks has officially landed two more series of For Dog's Sake, with a Christmas special of the heartwarming reality documentary show also confirmed Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks will return for two more series of his reality documentary show For Dog's Sake. The moving programme looks at the adoption journeys of lost and abandoned dogs after they are rescued and eventually rehomed with new families to live out their days. Series one, which aired in January, reportedly led to a 30% increase in adoption applications for Dogs Trust. For Dog's Sake follows different pets from being rescued, rehabilitated and then found forever homes. Filming will take place at Dogs Trust Basildon and other rehoming centres across the UK. With passionate dog-lover Pete at the helm, the TV personality takes viewers behind-the-scenes at the Dogs Trust, to meet dogs and the team behind the charity. As they tirelessly work to find new homes for the animals in their care, Pete looks at the effort that goes into the organisation's relentless dedication to abandoned pups. Pete said: "I'm thrilled to be back with Dogs Trust for series two, three, and a Christmas special of For Dogs' Sake. The first series was a personal and professional highlight, and it's been incredible to see the real-world impact it had on dog adoption in the UK. The real stars are the Dogs Trust team—their commitment and compassion is inspiring, and I feel honoured to help share their stories with the nation again." Reality star Pete was spotted on the 'red paw-pet' for the premiere of the first series, which aired in January on UKTV channel U&W. At the event, he spent time with puppies Nigel, Pepper and Dory, and was joined by his Strictly partner Jowita Pryzstal. Pete said at the time: "Anyone who knows me knows that I prefer animals to people, so this show is a real passion project for me." He added: "With two rescue dogs of my own, animal welfare is close to my heart, and I am super excited to be teaming up with U&W for this amazing opportunity." Helen Nightingale, head of factual and factual entertainment at UKTV, expressed: "We'd be barking mad to turn down the opportunity to work with Pete Wicks and witness first hand his passion for dogs and their welfare. It's a huge privilege being granted such unique access to Dogs Trust to see how the charity operates." Away from his animal advocacy, Pete has been supporting his other true love, best mate Sam Thompson. Sam has admitted to struggling following the break up of the Made in Chelsea star's five-year relationship with Zara McDermott. But to help him move on from his Love Island ex, Pete has been on wingman duties, with the pals spotted chatting up a pair of glam brunettes outside Marvin Humes ' 40th birthday bash. The pair were seen talking to the women outside the Savoy Hotel in March, with speculation sparked that they were embarking on new romances. Hopes of a romance between Pete and I'm A Celeb star Maura were dashed after she was seen sharing a tipsy kiss with married McFly member Danny Jones. But despite the cosy-looking display, the women were later revealed to simply be members of JLS' management team. A source told The Sun: "Sam and Pete are both single now and will be each other's wingmen. "And Sam is definitely ready to get back on the horse and date again after a miserable few weeks now Zara is moving on. But this time it was just a friendly chat, they were with JLS's management team outside Marvin's party."
