UFC on ESPN 68 full fight video: Maycee Barber dominates Katlyn Cerminara to extend run
Maycee Barber is undoubtedly in her best career moment, and her most recent fight stands proof of that. In March 2024, Barber picked up a dominant win over former UFC title challenger Katlyn Cerminara in the preliminary card of UFC 299. The victory over Cerminara is arguably the biggest of her career, and it's also one that topped her current winning streak to six in a row. After a year on the sidelines, Barber (14-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) makes her return to the octagon Saturday in the main event of UFC on ESPN 68 (ESPN, ESPN+), which takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. She takes on fellow top contender Erin Blanchfield (13-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) in a key women's flyweight bout. Watch Barber's win over Cerminara in the video above. Benoit Saint Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec prediction, pick, start time for UFC 315
Benoit Saint Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec prediction, pick, start time for UFC 315 Benoit Saint Denis looks to snap a skid against the returning Kyle Prepolec. Will the UFC 315 main card kick off with a huge upset? Benoit Saint Denis and Kyle Prepolec meet Saturday in the main card opener of UFC 315 at Bell Center in Montreal. Check out this quick breakdown of the matchup from MMA Junkie analyst Dan Tom. Last event: 4-2 UFC main cards, 2025: 41-35-1 Benoit Saint Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec UFC 315 preview Saint Denis (13-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) finds himself facing a new opponent on short notice as he looks to end a two-fight skid. A five-fight winning streak for Saint Denis came to a screeching halt at UFC 299 when Dustin Poirier put him down in the second round. Saint Denis then dropped a main event outing to Renato Moicano by injury TKO in the same frame. ... Prepolec (18-8 MMA, 0-2 UFC) gets a second shot in the UFC on just a few days' notice. Since his first exit in 2019, the Canadian has built a 4-1 record, which includes a current three-fight, first-round stoppage streak. Benoit Saint Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec UFC 315 expert pick, prediction Kicking off the paid portion of the card in proper fashion is an impromptu lightweight showdown between Saint Denis and Prepolec. Saint Denis was originally scheduled to face Joel Alvarez until a week ago, while Prepolec was preparing to fight on a Canadian regional event this very same weekend. Neither man was preparing for a southpaw, but Prepolec was training for a strong, grapple-heavy fighter, for whatever that's worth. Both fighters love left-sided strikes, but Saint Denis is the more power-side happy striker, which, in turn, is probably why he looks more uncomfortable in closed-stance affairs. Prepolec, on the other hand, looks a bit smoother and savvier as a southpaw operator. It's not a pick that I expect anyone to follow me off a cliff on, but I have a sneaky suspicion that Prepolec is poised to upset the apple cart if he can avoid being bullied to the floor. I can see the more durable Canadian coming out on top of a car crash early, but I'll officially side with him to edge out a win on the scorecards. Benoit Saint Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec UFC 315 odds The oddsmakers and the public heavily favor the French fighter, listing Saint Denis -1050 and Prepolec +630 via FanDuel. Benoit Saint Denis vs. Kyle Prepolec UFC 315 start time, how to watch As the main card opener, Saint Denis and Prepolec are expected to walk to the cage at approximately 10:10 p.m. ET. The fight broadcasts on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

I'm fighting for a UFC title, but a horror bone infection and nine days in hospital could've ended my career
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) JACK DELLA MADALLENA has battled back from a potentially career-ending infection to the brink of becoming the new king of the UFC's welterweight division. The slick southpaw gets his shot at glory early on Sunday morning in the main event of UFC 315 in Montreal, where he'll bid to end Belal Muhammad's reign as 170lbs champion. 7 Jack Della Maddalena returns to the octagon this weekend for the first time in 14 months Credit: GETTY 7 The Aussie hasn't fought since breaking his arm in his stoppage of Gilbert Burns at UFC 299 Credit: GETTY 7 JDM spent several days in the hospital after suffering complications from his surgery Credit: INSTAGRAM@JACKDELLAMADDALENA 7 The 28-year-old suffered a bone infection and had multiple abscesses in the wound after having a second surgery Credit: INSTAGRAM@JACKDELLAMADDALENA His shot at UFC gold comes 14 MONTHS after he broke his left arm in his career-best win over former title challenger Gilbert Burns, after which he'd have surgery. Ten days after going under the knife, he was forced to have a SECOND surgery as an infection caused the wound to split. Della Maddalenna - who will bid to become only the third Australian to win a title in MMA's top promotion - would spend NINE DAYS in the hospital on a mixture of IV and oral antibiotics before he was allowed home. But he wasn't out of the woods just yet, with multiple abscesses popping up in the wound over the next five weeks. In an exclusive interview with SunSport, he said of the ordeal: "It got pretty bad, you know. "The infection, the broken arm and [then I] went back and I had surgery. "And then ten days later, the whole wound, it's a pretty big scar, the whole thing just started splitting. "And it was sort of, like, oozing fluid and got pretty nasty. It got nasty. "The infection somehow got all the way to the bone. [But] it was just one of those things. UFC star Belal Muhammad thought he was blind after Leon Edwards eye poke "I thought it was just unlucky, you know. It's one of those risks you take with surgeries. "And I was unlucky enough to bear the full brunt of that sort of situation. But then, it was just trying to fight the infection. "It was hard to get rid of the infection. "It was a lot of antibiotics and a few surgeries to get rid of the infected bone, but we got through it in the end." The recovery process was an emotional rollercoaster for JDM, who admitted: "It was hard. I had ups and downs. "Coming off such a big win and then having the injury, which was no big deal, like I've had injuries before. "But then getting the news that it was infected, I was like, 'Wow, that's interesting.' So that was another down. "And then just not being able to knock the infection, it was pretty devastating. Especially as I was eager to get back in there. "I had plans of competing a lot last year, but I've just rolled with it. I just had to stay strong, you know." Della Maddalena's family helped him get through the most testing time of his career. "I was lucky enough that I had some distractions," he said. "I had my daughter, my second child was born, so that was a bit of a distraction here. It was sort of like oozing fluid and got pretty nasty." Jack Della Maddalena on his arm infection "But I just stayed calm and I thought, 'If it's meant to be, it will be, and I'll be back in there.' I'm glad everything did work out." Palestinian-born American Muhammad will look to make the second defence of the belt he wrestled from Leon Edwards' clutches in Manchester last July. And JDM, unlike many others, is refusing to underestimate the size of the job he'll have on his hands in the Montreal melee. "It was a tough performance," Della Maddalena said of Muhammad's title win. "Belal is very good, he doesn't get the props he deserves. "He's a good fighter and he comes in always with a good game plan. He's a good and well-rounded fighter. "It was a tough fight. I think Belal just went in there and I think he had the right game plan to stifle Leon's advantages. "It wasn't his [Edwards'] best performance, of course. He's had a lot of good performances. "But, I guess anyone can win on any given night. And I think that night was definitely Belal's night." Catch UFC 315: MUHAMMAD vs. DELLA MADDALENA at 3AM this Sunday, May 11th, on TNT Sports 1.
