Watch: DDG Joins Episode 6 Of ‘Sound Check With Jeremy Hecht' & Names His Top 5 Female Rappers Of All-Time

The weekly interview series revealing your favorite artist's musical taste consists of high stakes 12-round episodes that feature a carefully curated playlist of impossible choices, unearthing some never-before-heard stories and creative influences. The show has previously hosted guests including Big Sean, Rico Nasty, The LOX, DaBaby and more. On Episode 6, host Jeremy Hecht sits down with Pontiac, Michigan rapper and streamer DDG. DDG is a self proclaimed Lover Boy. Considering that, Jeremy presented him with two songs that feel like falling in love – 'Bed Peace' by Jhené Aiko ft. Childish Gambino and 'U My Everything' by Sexyy Redd ft. Drake. The 27 year-old chose the latter by stating, 'Definitely Sexyy Red. That's my vibe. Sexyy Red like Top 5 for me…Female Artists of all time. Cardi B is number 1, number two I would say is Latto, number 3, Glo Rilla, number 4…Sexyy Red, and number 5…Bhad Bhabie. Later, Hecht forced DDG to choose between two current rap GOATs – 'Back To The Moon' by Gunna from Furious 7 and 'Constantly Hating ' by Young Thug ft Birdman. After consideration, DDG picked Gunna. He explained by saying, 'Tough…I ain't gon lie, I like the Gunna song a lil bit more. Gunna's just one of my favorite artists right now. I like the lyrics, and the feel of the song…it feel real effortless. And I've been in the studio with Gunna so I've seen how he records. you can tell its just real organic and it's just talent, you know.' In the final round, Hecht flipped the script and turned the tables on himself by attempting to guess the track DDG says represents his entire life. Given two options—'Nobody Gets Me' by SZA and 'Love' by Keyshia Cole—Hecht incorrectly guesses 'Love'. When asked about his song selection, DDG answers, 'Well I listened to her album when it first came out…and everybody was going crazy on 'Snooze', but I think they was sleeping on 'Nobody Gets Me.'' Justin Bieber kisses rapper Sexyy Red, fans say he ‘looks happier with her than Hailey'
Justin Bieber celebrated rapper Sexyy Red's 27th birthday with a kiss on the cheek, and fans quipped the singer 'looks happier' with her than his wife, Hailey Bieber. The 'Peaches' crooner took to Instagram Thursday to share a clip from the 'U My Everything' hitmaker's bash, which saw him embrace the latter and give her a warm smooch. He beamed while letting go of Sexyy Red, who laughed off the sweet interaction. Several fans were thrilled to see Justin, 31, smiling, with some comparing his interaction with the 'Get It Sexyy' rapper to how he seemingly appears with Hailey, 28. 'Why does he look happier with her than with Hailey ,' one person commented. 'I forgot he could smile,' another added, as a third chimed in, 'Happiest I've seen you in a minute.' Other fans, however, defended Hailey, with one writing, 'When you get married (sic) its not always rainbows and butterflies (sic) god forbid the guy has fun every now and then.' Another told critics that assumed marital issues between the Rhode founder and Justin were in their 'own heads.' Hailey, however, didn't appear to be bothered by the video, as she wrote, ' .' Justin and Hailey tend to appear stoic while out on dates in Los Angeles, as paparazzi swarm them. The couple appeared bothered while entering and leaving Alba restaurant in West Hollywood on Tuesday. They also kept a low profile during a lunchtime outing the week before. Justin, however, has caused concern regarding his seemingly odd behavior in public over the past few months. In February, the 'Peaches' singer went viral after he was spotted smiling widely and swaying his body while attending Hailey's Rhode pop-up store. Despite worry, his rep has continuously defended him, referring to stories about his well-being as inaccurate assumptions and slamming speculation that the pop star is on drugs.
