Terrorism will swallow Pakistan one day: Yogi
Lucknow, May 14 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that Pakistan, which is a supporter of terrorism, will one day be swallowed by the poisonous snake of terrorism. To salute the valour of the Indian Army after the success of 'Operation Sindoor', the CM flagged off the Bharat Shaurya Tiranga Yatra from his official residence. He led the Yatra with the Tricolour in his hand and on behalf of the people of the state, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi, soldiers, ex-servicemen and the youth for the success of Operation Sindoor. He said the entire country was eager to salute the brave soldiers. He said during a national crisis, patience and unity are the biggest assets of the country. Yogi said, "India defeated Pakistan. The world also saw the shameless face of that country when its leaders and military officers participated in the funeral of terrorists. All that shows Pakistan is a failed nation and in the last 70-75 years since its birth, it has only sown the seeds of terrorism. Pakistan has told the world the story of its failure. The support being given to terrorism proves that terrorism will swallow Pakistan one day." He said Operation Sindoor was a response to the actions of a hollowed-out Pakistan. "It is certain in the coming times that whoever points a finger at India and works to breach the security against the honour of our sisters and daughters, there will be no one to cry at his funeral," he said. The CM said that Pakistan-backed terrorists had perpetrated a barbaric act in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, which was condemned by the country and the world, but Pakistan, the promoter of terrorism, and its masters remained silent. He said, "Our government, committed to protecting the honour and dignity of India, provided all the evidence, even after that Pakistan did not stop its activities. Finally 'Operation Sindoor' was launched. On the very first day, more than 100 terrorists and their family members who directly contributed to nurturing terrorism were punished for the heinous act." The CM said that it has been the resolve of PM Modi from the very first day that when we talk of a new and developed India, our aim should be nation first. "To realise the vision of a developed India, it is necessary that we work with the spirit of nation first," he said. Expressing gratitude towards PM Modi, he said that he kept the whole country united and boosted the morale of the brave soldiers by going to Adampur in Punjab. UNI AB PRS

Dhankhar releases book on UP Governor
Lucknow, May 1 (UNI) Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday released a book 'Chunautiyan Mujhe Pasand Hai' (I like challenges), chronicling the journey of Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion in the event held at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University in Lucknow, highlighting Governor Patel's remarkable journey from humble beginnings to the highest echelons of public life, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "This book is like a guiding scripture for the new generation." He said that Anandiben Patel's journey from a small village in Gujarat to the governorship of India's largest state was marked by challenges. He said 'Chunautiyan Mujhe Pasand Hai' illustrates how a woman, through determination and resilience, can rise above social barriers, limited resources and adversity to become a source of inspiration for society. Yogi said the book is more than a biography, it's a reflection on life's journey, capturing the triumph of perseverance over hardship. Praising authors Vinay Joshi, Ashok Desai and Pankaj Jani, he compared the 14 chapters of the biography to 'the 14 gems that emerged from the churning of the ocean'. He said, "We often see only the peak of success but forget how much struggle went into building that foundation. Governor Patel's life is proof that anyone who faces difficulties with courage and resolve can become a role model and inspire others." The CM thanked Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar for attending the event, calling his presence "a great honour". He recalled the VP's earlier visit during the Maha Kumbh and said that it brought fresh motivation and played a role in giving the event global recognition under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Vice President. Calling freedom of expression important for a strong democracy, he said books like 'Chunautiyan Mujhe Pasand Hai' strengthen democratic values. "This book is not just a biography, it is a complete picture of democracy, struggle, confidence and women empowerment," he said. UNI AB PRS
