Outgoing MLN Medical College principal receives grand farewell

1 2 3 Prayagraj: The outgoing principal of the Motilal Nehru Medical College, Dr Vatsala Misra, was given a grand farewell at a ceremony organised at the college on Thursday. Newly appointed principal Dr VK Pandey described Dr Misra's 15-month tenure as historic. He highlighted her pivotal role in the successful organisation of the world's largest religious gathering—Maha Kumbh. Under her leadership, several new health initiatives and projects were launched and inaugurated within the SRN Hospital and the medical college campus, significantly enhancing the quality of healthcare services. According to media in charge, Dr Santosh Kumar Singh, Dr Vatsala Misra's farewell was especially meaningful, as she completed both her MBBS and MD from this very institution., Dr Vatsala said: "This institution has been more than just a workplace—it has been my home. I began my medical journey here as a student, and to return and lead as the first woman Principal has been an honour." tnn
