Varahi Navaratri celebrations conclude with Purnahuti Ritual at Durga Malleswaraswamy Temple
The Varahi Navaratri (Gupta Navaratri) celebrations at Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri concluded on Friday (July 4) with the grand Purnahuti ritual. The rituals were conducted by chief priests, including Kota Prasad and Vedic scholars, as per Sastric and Agamic traditions in seclusion (Ekanta Seva) without the physical presence of devotees. This year, the Varahi Navaratri festivities began on June 26 (Ashadha Shuddha Padyami) and concluded on July 4 (Ashadha Shuddha Dashami). These nine nights are considered highly auspicious as per Puranic texts, particularly for invoking the blessings of Sri Varahi Devi, who is revered as one of the Sapta Matrikas and Dasha Mahavidyas. Kanaka Durga temple Executive Officer V.K. Seena Naik and others attended the Purnahuti. The temple EO, priests and Vedic Committee said the Varahi Navaratri Utsavams have concluded, bringing spiritual merit to the devotees and reinforcing the temple's commitment to preserving Vedic traditions.

TTD Chairman participates in Varahi Navaratri fete at Sri Shakti Peetham
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) Trust Board Chairman B.R. Naidu prayed at the famed Sri Shakti Peetham situated at Rayalacheruvu, near Tirupati, and took part in the Varahi Navaratri festivities on Sunday. The Peetham is known for the revered shrine of Shvetha Varahi Ammavari shrine, which attracts the devout from across the country. Mr. Naidu also offered prayers to the unique deities of Sri Marakata Shakti Kali Devi and Sri Marakata Siddeshwara Swamy at the Peetham. Calling on the Peetham's founder Sri Siddeswarananda Bharathi Mahaswami and the monk Sri Ramyananda Bharathi Swamini at the Peetham premises later, he enquired about the ongoing activities of Sri Shakti Peetham , which has, of late, become a major attraction for the devotees visiting Tirupati. The TTD Chairman assured to extend all support on behalf of the Devasthanams management to the Sri Sakthi Peetham as part of propagating the Hindu Sanatana Dharma. TTD's board member M. Shantaram, Chief Public Relations Officer T. Ravi and the Peetham's representative Srikanth were present.

TTD chairman takes part in Varahi Navaratri utsavams at Sri Shakti Peetham
TIRUPATI : Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams chairman BR Naidu offered prayers to the highly revered Payal's Shveta Varahi Ammavari temple at Sri Shakti Peetham and took part in the Varahi Navaratri utsavams being held at the temple located near Rayalacheruvu in Tirupati district on Sunday. The TTD chairman also offered prayers to the unique idols of Sri Marakata Shakti Kali Devi and Sri Marakata Siddeshwara Swamy at the Shakti Peetham. BR Naidu offered respects to the founder of the Shakti Peetham Sri Siddeswarananda Bharathi Mahaswami and Sri Ramyananda Bharathi Swamini at the Peetham premises and enquired about the activities of Sri Sakthi Peetham which is attracting a huge turnout of Hindu devotees from across the country. The TTD chairman assured Sri Sakthi Peetham founders that the Tirupati trust will extend all necessary support to them to spearhead the propagation of the Hindu Sanathana Dharma across the country in a big way. TTD board member M Shantaram, PRO T Ravi, Sri Sakthi Peetham PRO Srikanth and a large number of devotees took part.
