In a recent interview, famous director Vasan Bala , known for his works in 'Bombay Velvet', 'Psycho Raman', and 'Peddlers', recently opened up about his journey in the industry, how it has been working with renowned names in the industry and many other things. During one of the segments, he even delved a little into how his experience has been working with Anurag Kashyap , and how the two ended up in a 'fight' while working on the sets of the hit film, 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. In an episode of the 'Cyrus Says' podcast, the director revealed that the two even ended up in a 'showdown' regarding Manoj Bajpayee and Richa Chadha 's characters on screen. While talking about the situation, he did not describe it as a 'tiff', however, he only labelled that some disagreement about the film led to a situation. "There was no tiff. So, I was taking stills, and I wasn't feeling useful on the sets of Gangs of Wasseypur. And then, I started critiquing the film. And critiquing the story to him', he added. He added that while giving his opinions, one point at a time, he came to where it became too much. He stated that while Kashyap takes criticism kindly, this situation was different. He talked about the comment that sent everything downward, when he said on the sets, ''Can't there be just a tender moment?'
