New Delhi: The Delhi government, led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, is preparing to unveil a comprehensive report highlighting its achievements during the first 100 days in office. The report will be made public on May 31, following the government's 100th day in power on May 30. This milestone comes after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) returned to power in Delhi after a gap of 27 years. In the February 2025 Assembly elections, the party secured a decisive mandate, winning 48 out of 70 seats. Rekha Gupta was sworn in as Chief Minister on February 20, at a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior leaders. The report card is expected to focus on key initiatives launched across several priority sectors: In healthcare, the government has introduced 38 Ayushman Arogya Mandir clinics across the city, aimed at enhancing access to quality medical services for all. In the area of social welfare, a scholarship scheme was launched for Dalit students to support their education, while senior citizens have been registered under the newly introduced 'Vay Vandana' scheme. To promote women's empowerment, the government allocated ₹5,100 crore for a financial assistance program, providing ₹2,500 per month to eligible women, thereby supporting household incomes and promoting economic the infrastructure front, 400 'Devi' buses were deployed to improve last-mile connectivity, and 1,111 GPS-enabled water tankers were introduced to address water scarcity in underserved localities. Under environmental initiatives, a pollution control plan has been rolled out, focusing on improving air quality and cleaning the Yamuna river as part of a broader sustainability agenda. In addition to these major programs, the administration has prioritized improvement of public services. A 20-day citywide cleanliness drive resulted in the cleaning of over 3,500 kilometers of roads and the removal of large-scale encroachments. Upgradation works are also underway in government schools and hospitals, alongside ongoing road repairs and sanitation efforts.

Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana, a vertical under the state-backed health protection scheme Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), offers free medical coverage for senior citizens. The Ayushman Vay Vandana Card under the scheme provides health insurance coverage up to ₹ 5 lakh for all citizens above 70 years of age. The Vay Vandana card is a health card introduced in October 2024 for senior citizens under AB PM-JAY to access the benefits of the scheme. The cardholders can avail free healthcare services, including medical treatment in both government and private hospitals. There is no income limit for the card, making individuals from all income levels to avail benefits from this scheme. Additionally, the card will cover the out-of-pocket expenses of senior citizens, according to a government statement on November 18, 2025. Step 6: Submit a declaration by filling required details in the necessary fields. Step 7: Add the mobile number and OTP of the beneficiary. Step 8: Enter details including category and PIN code. Step 9: Enter details of the family members and submit. Step 10: After the e-KYC is completed and approved, the Ayushman Vay Vandana Card can be downloaded. New Delhi: BJP govt will celebrate its 100 days in office by presenting a report card of its works at a special event to be organised in Delhi next week. Though the exact date, time, and venue for the event are yet to be finalised, sources said the celebrations could be held at Bharat Mandapam. A senior Delhi govt official said a comprehensive report of the achievements of the newly formed BJP govt in a little over three months of being in office was being compiled after collecting inputs from all ministers in the cabinet. "This report card on BJP govt's 100 days in office will be presented by chief minister Rekha Gupta at the event, which is likely to be held on May 31," the official said. Sources said govt might also announce some new initiatives at the event, including the launch of 38 Ayushman Arogya Mandir health clinics, a schaolarship scheme for Dalit students, and a pollution action plan to improve the quality of air and Yamuna water in Delhi. "We managed to roll out some prominent welfare initiatives, which will be talked about at the event. State govt employees, pensioners to get benefits of AB-PMJAY

Gujarat government on Wednesday decided to cover all its employees and pensioners under the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), a scheme, which provides medical insurance of Rs 10 lakh for the entire family of a card-holder. The decision in this regard was taken by the state cabinet, headed by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, in a meeting Wednesday. The employees and pensioners will be able to draw benefits of the AB-PMJAY, under a new scheme floated by the state government — Gujarat Karmayogi Swasthya Suraksha Yojana — stated an official release. It will cover 4.2 lakh employees and 2.2 lakh pensioners of the state government, and cause a financial burdern of Rs 303 crore on the state government, it added. A government release stated that employees and pensioners, who cannot draw the benefits of AB-PMJAY scheme, will be eligible for medical facilities they were already getting. Also, they will continue to get a monthly medical allowance of Rs 1,000. The scheme will not be applicable to fix-pay employees of the state government as they get benefits under Karmayogi Card, and pensioners above the age of 70 since they are covered under the Vay Vandana scheme.
