Telecom operator Vodafone Idea has introduced Vi Finance, a new digital platform available on the Vi App that aims to simplify access to personal loans , fixed deposits , and credit cards for millions of Indian consumers. Vi Finance features As mentioned above Vi Finance is designed to offer multiple finance solutions such as: - Personal Loans: Users can apply for collateral-free personal loans starting from Rs 50,000 at interest rates beginning at 10.99% per annum. The application is completely digital, requiring minimal documentation and KYC. - Fixed Deposits (FDs): Vi Finance features a fixed deposit marketplace via Upswing, where customers can invest as little as Rs 1,000 and earn interest rates up to 8.4%. All FDs are covered under Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (DICGC), ensuring up to ₹5 lakh protection per bank. - Credit Cards: In collaboration with Credilio, Vi Finance offers a range of credit cards from top banks including SBI, HDFC, and Axis Bank. It also features FD-backed cards for users with limited credit history, helping them establish and grow their credit scores. Vi Finance is now available to users across India via the Vi App, which can be downloaded on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (Vi) on Tuesday launched the ' Vi Finance ' platform, in partnership with Aditya Birla Capital , Upswing Financial Technologies , and Credilio , to offer extensive personal financial solutions to its customers. The platform, launched on the Vi App, will provide comprehensive personal loans, fixed deposits, and credit cards . 'By making financial solutions easy, quick, and accessible within the Vi App with Vi Finance, we are enabling customers to take control of their finances without the usual complexities. Our partnerships with trusted financial institutions ensure that every customer can find the right product for their needs,' said Avneesh Khosla , chief marketing officer (CMO), Vi. Vi Finance, in partnership with Aditya Birla Capital, will enable customers to apply for loans starting from ₹50,000 at interest rates starting at 10.99% per annum. The telco said the digital and paperless process with minimal documentation and convenient know-your-customer (KYC) makes this offering suitable for urgent needs. Vi Finance, together with Upswing, will offer a marketplace with high-interest fixed deposit options from multiple leading banks and financial institutions. Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced the Vi Guarantee Programme for its 2G handset customers, offering 24 days of extra validity over 12 months. This program aims to address the common issue of voice-only or low-data usage prepaid customers needing to recharge multiple times within a single month. Under this initiative, customers will receive 2 days of extra validity with every Unlimited voice recharge pack priced at Rs 199 and above. This will effectively provide 30 days of service validity instead of the standard 28 days, allowing for one recharge per calendar month. For recharges with validity periods longer than 28 days, the additional two days will also help bridge gaps in the recharge cycle, contributing to more consistent service. The Vi Guarantee benefit applies to prepaid customers using 2G handsets and opting for Unlimited voice recharge packs of Rs 199 and higher.
