Virginia Giuffre Was Under 'Pressure' Before Her Death By Suicide, Fellow Sex Trafficking Survivor Claims
A fellow sex trafficking survivor, Annie Farmer, has claimed that Virginia Giuffre was dealing with "enormous pressure" before taking her own life. Farmer said that the pressure came from the backlash Giuffre received over her case against the Duke of York, Prince Andrew. In 2021, Virginia Giuffre filed a lawsuit against the Duke of York, accusing him of sexually abusing her when she was a minor after she was trafficked to him by the late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. In an interview with The Telegraph, Annie Farmer, one of Jeffrey Epstein's victims, spoke candidly about Giuffre's shocking death by suicide. The sex trafficking survivor suggested that Giuffre's act of taking her own life was tied to her no longer being able to deal with the pressure that came with her settled sexual abuse case against disgraced royal Prince Andrew. "I just know that being involved in this case has been an enormous amount of pressure for her, generally, in all the cases she was involved in," Ms Farmer told the news outlet. Reflecting further on Giuffre's death, Farmer noted that there have been people who "have just been really vicious towards" the late 41-year-old ever since she spoke out about her abuse. She believes this made all the support Giuffre received insufficient to make her life "anything easier." "I think for her, it was next level because of that, because of the Prince part in particular," Farmer added. "I think that was tremendously hard. These kinds of battles, it feels like it's just always ongoing." Indeed, Giuffre faced much backlash from different individuals, including Prince Andrew's ex, Victoria Hervey. Upon her suicide, Hervey further smeared the Victims Refuse Silence founder with a post that seemed to suggest that she got what was coming to her. "When lies catch up to you, there's no way out," Hervey wrote on her Instagram story alongside sharing a news report about Giuffre's suicide. Following the post, social media users called out Hervey's actions as "vile" and "despicable." The criticism appeared to make her pause her attacks on Giuffre, which she acknowledged in a second post to her story two hours later. "I have taken the decision to pause my posts on Virginia Giuffre at this time," she said, per the Daily Mail. "Irrespective of the circumstances, suicide in anyone at any time is tragic, and in a young mother who has children, even more so." Concerning Giuffre's death, the authorities have hinted that there was no foul play involved. "About 9.50 pm Friday 25 April, emergency services received a report [that] a woman had been located unresponsive at a residence in Neergabby," read a statement from a WA Police Force spokesperson. It continued, "Police and St John WA attended and provided emergency first-aid. Sadly, the 41-year-old woman was declared deceased at the scene." "The death is being investigated by Major Crime detectives; early indication is the death is not suspicious," the statement concluded. While the autopsy will ultimately determine if Giuffre's death truly had no foul play involved, a tweet she once made about not being suicidal has raised eyebrows. She said at the time, "I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal." Giuffre continued, "I have made this known to my therapist and GP – If something happens to me – for the sake of my family do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me [quieted]." Following Giuffre's death, her family shared a heartfelt tribute that also hinted at why she took her life. "Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking," the family said about Giuffre, per People Magazine. "She was the light that lifted so many survivors. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight," they added. According to reports, the Epstein victim's brother, Sky Roberts, was staying with her at the time of her death and may have been the one who made the emergency call. Details regarding Giuffre's burial arrangements remain unclear for now, but may be revealed in the coming days.

The California native was an alleged victim in Epstein's sex trafficking ring, and has given detailed accounts of allegedly being trafficked by Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. Giuffre was reportedly recruited by Maxwell when she was 15 while working at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, per an Australian news outlet. Giuffre previously alleged that she had her first encounter with through Epstein and Maxwell when she was 17 years old in 1999, claiming she had sex with the former royal in London at Maxwell's home. She also claimed they had sex in New York City and Epstein's private Caribbean island. (Andrew has repeatedly denied the claims, including ever meeting Giuffre.) She founded Victims Refuse Silence, a non-profit organization, in 2015. The organization was relaunched as Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR) in November 2021. Giuffre married Australian Robert Giuffre in 2002 after the pair reportedly met in Thailand. Together, they share three children: two sons and one daughter. "Me & my happily ever after 🌷21 years ago this amazing man rescued me from Epstein & Maxwell's clutches," she captioned a photo of the couple via Instagram in 2023. "I thank God everyday for putting this beautiful man in my life! 🦋I love you Robbie G." Per Giuffre's Instagram account, it appears that the anniversary post was the last time she posted about her husband. According to BBC, the pair recently separated after 22 years of marriage. In a March 30, 2025, Instagram post, Giuffre said that she only had a handful of days to live after being hit by a bus at a high speed. "This year has been the worst start to a new year, but I won't bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving 110km as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can," she captioned a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed with a bruised face. "I've gone into kidney renal failure, they've given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology." She added: "I'm ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes. S**T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it's still going to be s**t at the end of the day. Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life. Godbless you all xx Virginia." Jeffrey Epstein Victim Virginia Giuffre Was Hit By A Bus, Told She Has Only 'Four Days To Live'
Jeffrey Epstein's accuser, Virginia Giuffre, claims she is suffering from kidney renal failure and now has just a few days left to live. In her lengthy post, Virginia Giuffre stated that her ailment began after she suffered injuries when a bus crashed into her vehicle. Taking to social media, Giuffre shockingly revealed that she has only a few days to live as her health continues to deteriorate following an accident. "This year has been the worst start to a new year," said the 41-year-old woman who once accused the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein of trafficking her. She continued, "I won't bore anyone with the details but I think it important to note that when a school bus driver comes at you driving [60 mph] as we were slowing for a turn that no matter what your car is made of it might as well be a tin can." Giuffre went on to attribute her alleged impending demise to kidney renal failure, a condition in which one or both kidneys no longer function properly. "I've gone into kidney renal failure, they've given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology," she added. Speaking further about her situation, Giuffre told the world that she is ready to die but wants to see her children. "I'm ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time, but you know what they say about wishes. SH-T in one hand and wish in the other & I guarantee it's still going to be sh-t at the end of the day," she added to her post, which included a photograph of herself with a visible head injury. "Thank you all for being the wonderful people of the world and for being a great part of my life." The Victims Refuse Silence founder shares three children—two sons and one daughter—with her husband, Robert, whom she got married to in 2022. The two are reportedly now separated, although it remains unclear when the split happened and if Robert has full custody of the kids. Several social media users filled the comment section of the post with prayers for the mother of three. "What you did for all the victims of sexual abuse and human trafficking will always be remembered. Thank you for speaking up, wishing you recovery and many more years to live," one wrote. "So so sorry to hear this. Sending you all the healthiest vibes in the world. I had acute kidney failure 20 years ago, and I'm still here. Hold your babies tight when you see them," a second user commented. "Don't give up, Virginia! Thank you for your voice," another individual remarked. One more person said, "Thank you for your fight Virginia. The world would be a lot darker place without your tenacity and commitment to the truth. We hope the best for you in this, but if it's truly your time, you will be remembered as a hero." Giuffre first made headlines when she revealed that she was a victim of sex trafficking by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Since then, she has been involved in a number of lawsuits against Epstein's estate and Ghislaine Maxwell, who is known to have been his right-hand woman. Giuffre also accused Prince Andrew of being one of the individuals she was sex trafficked to by Epstein. The Epstein documents, released in January 2024, shed more light on the Duke of York Prince Andrew's relationship with Giuffre, whom he allegedly sexually assaulted when she was just 17 years old. According to a deposition in the court docs, Guiffre claimed that Epstein paid her $15,000 to have sex with Prince Andrew. "I did receive $15,000. I do not know the equivalent to what that is in pounds," Guiffre said under oath, per the Daily Mail, adding that she did not pay tax on the money she received. In a different case in 2021, Guiffre accused Prince Andrew of "sexual assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress." The case was settled out of court for a reported $14 million without the Duke of York admitting liability.
