Australian influencer Caitlin Lyndon's Melbourne home destroyed in alleged targeted firebombing incident

An Australian influencer says her 'life has been ruined' after her Melbourne property was firebombed in an alleged targeted attack while she was abroad. Caitlin Lyndon, known on social media as 'fitmum93', was partying with friends in Bali on Sunday night when she received a phone call from Australian authorities informing her about the fire. The OnlyFans star's home, which she had only moved into two months prior to the incident, was badly damaged in the attack. 'I cannot fathom that somebody would do this to me,' Lyndon told Melbourne media outlets on Monday. 'Everyone has enemies… but I would never imagine having pissed people off enough to have your personal home lit on fire where you and your son's belongings are. 'I guess Victoria Police are probably going to find (the perpetrators), so I'm just going to let them do their job.' Victorian Police have described the Sandhurst fire as 'suspicious' and have received reports of two individuals fleeing the scene in a dark car, which are being investigated. A car on fire in a nearby area was also discovered by Victorian Police, with investigators 'working to determine if the fires are linked'. Lyndon took to Instagram in a now-deleted video discussing the incident, sharing with her 82,000 followers that her CCTV system had been disabled prior to the attack. 'I just don't know where to start – and I live in the biggest Karen estate ever, so this is just gross,' 'I didn't even think you could shut down CCTV so these c**ts are just dogs. 'I am grateful my son and dogs are safe as I can replace our furniture, our belongings, but our family I cannot. 'I've never wanted to hold my baby so tight in all my life – true friends and families' colours are shown in times like this. 'I'm not afraid to cry and show you that I have f****ng emotions because you know what – I worked my a** off to get where I was and even if I've lost everything, you've burnt it down and you've ruined my life. 'I will build my life again, but my son does not deserve this.' The influencer also posted a photo of the property's damage to her social media on Monday.

Mr Wilson's alleged offences are not believed to involve childcare centres or any of Mr Brown's alleged victims. The two men are reportedly known to each other. Mr Wilson is due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on September 15. On Wednesday, Education Minister Jason Clare revealed a close friend of his has been impacted by the allegations. 'I know that they're angry because one of those parents is a friend of mine and her two little girls are directly affected by this,' Mr Clare said on Wednesday. 'And I won't tell you what she told me last night because you can't repeat it on television, but she's right to be mad. 'I'm mad. I think anyone who works in the early education system and there's hundreds of thousands of fantastic people who do, would be angry today as well. 'And my friend is mad because of all of the stress and the trauma and the crap that she and her girls are going to have to go through in the weeks ahead.' Mr Clare said the problem of predators in childcare settings was 'serious' and required 'serious action'. 'It's one of the reasons why I put this on the top of the agenda when education ministers met last week,' he said. 'Let me be clear – when education ministers met to discuss child safety last week, we didn't discuss this case, but we discussed – what are the next steps that we need to take as a nation to make sure that our kids are safe in early education and care?' The government has already banned personal mobile phones in centres and changed rules around mandatory reporting from seven days to 24 hours following complaints about sexual or physical abuse.
