Dramatic footage shows crowds gather as car erupts into '30ft' flames
The flames were around 30ft high, according to one onlooker

A car crashed into a barrier on a busy road in Newport city centre before it erupted into flames with black smoke being seen by residents across the city.
On Monday evening officers from Gwent Police were called to a single-car crash on the junction between Wharf Road and Chepstow Road. They remained at the scene for around three hours alongside South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
No injuries were reported as witnesses say the driver managed to free themselves from the wreckage before it erupted into flames. Never miss a Newport story by subscribing to our newsletter here .
A video of the incident has been widely shared online with one person saying the flames were "about 30ft high".
A spokesman for Gwent Police said: "We received a call at around 7pm on Monday, August 11, regarding a road traffic collision involving one car on the junction between Wharf Road and Chepstow Road in Newport.

"South Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended as the car ignited. Nobody was injured."
