However, Itauma is set to face his toughest test yet as he'll be stepping into the ring with former veteran Dillian Whyte. The Body Snatcher, 37, has been one of the most popular and dangerous heavyweights of the last decade and has signature wins over Alexander Povetkin, Derek Chisora and Joseph Parker. But following a drugs ban, Whyte has scored two unconvincing wins against Christian Hammer and Ebenezer Tetter, as well as withdrawing from fights against Joe Joyce and Lawrence Okolie. It's a massive crossroads fights for both men, with fans eager to know whether a win over the undefeated Itauma would see Whyte become a contender once again. What belts are on the line? To put it simply, none. The minor belts are of secondary concern in this one - Moses Itauma will hold onto his WBA and WBO Intercontinental belts, whatever the outcome of the fight. However, the result will have massive ramifications for both fighters. Victory for Itauma would solidify his position as a top heavyweight contender and potentially move him closer to a shot at Oleksandr Usyk's world title. Whereas, a win for Whyte adds to the rebuild of his career and would demonstrate that he is still a force at this elite level - a defeat could leave him staring at retirement. When is Itauma vs Whyte? Moses Itauma vs Dillian Whyte will take place on Saturday, August 16. The main card is scheduled to get underway at 5.45pm BST. While ring-walks for the main event are scheduled for around 10.20pm BST. Maya Jama joins Marcus Rashford and Declan Rice ringside for Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn clash - as other stars including Idris Elba and KSI also settle in for grudge bout
Marcus Rashford has joined forces ringside with Declan Rice to take in the spectacle everybody is talking about: Chris Eubank Jr's clash with Conor Benn. The England stars were filmed deep in conversation at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where a host of sporting, social media, and television stars are watching the hottest show in town. Elsewhere, Idris Elba, Gordon Ramsey, KSI, and IShowSpeed have taken their seats for the long-anticipated clash. The bout has been a long time coming, having first been scheduled for 2022 before it was called off because Benn failed a drugs test, as exclusively revealed by Mail Sport. Maya Jama also has two seats ringside, with fans eagerly awaiting to see if she will be sat alongside her reported partner, Manchester City star Ruben Dias. Rashford was earlier pictured by Mail Sport greeting fans in one of the lounges at the stadium. England stars Noni Madueke, Kieran Trippier, Ben Chilwell, and Ollie Watkins have reportedly been due to take their place - despite the latter two facing off in the afternoon FA Cup semi-final between Crystal Palace and Aston Villa at Wembley. Ashley Walters, who plays Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe in the hit Netflix series Adolescence, is supposed to attend, as will film star Michael Ward. Eddie Howe was said to be making the trek down from Newcastle - fresh from relegating Ipswich 3-0 - alongside Trippier to attend as a guest of the Saudi Public Investment Fund, owners of the Magpies, despite his recent pneumonia scare. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has a couple of seats, as does Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy. WBO Intercontinental heavyweight champion Moses Itauma will be checking in to spy on some fellow punchers, boxing fan Ramsey (who incidentally has a black belt in karate) will hope to see a storm cooked up, while former Spurs and Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp is meant to be taking his seat. From the world of music, Dizzee Rascal, who is often spotted at fights, will feast his eyes on the action. And there is room for YouTube and social media influencers, who are increasingly making headway on our television sets, in the form of KSI and Speed. The pair were photographed taking in the action on the undercard, intently watching Liam Smith's clash with Aaron McKenna. One man who was not meant to be present is Chris Eubank Sr, who has repeatedly voiced his disapproval of the fight - but it turns out he is there. Idris Elba (left) and Gordon Ramsey (right) were pictured settling in for the fight The former world champion has raised concerns about his son fighting at the middleweight limit of 160lbs after also agreeing to a rehydration clause that states he cannot weigh more than 170lbs at a second-weigh in on the day of the fight. Eubank Jr subsequently missed weight by half an ounce on Friday and was hit with a $500,000/£375,000 fine. He has also branded his son a 'disgrace' for slapping Benn with an egg during a press conference in February. He said: 'That is disgraceful. I'm going to be in your corner? I would never have been in your corner; that is a disgrace. 'You are smashing an egg in someone's face, and you are trying to justify it. There is no justification for it. There is nothing noble about that.' Eubank Jr addressed his father's criticism at Thursday's final press conference, as he spoke about the 'pain' of not having Sr by his side for the biggest fight of his career. In an emotional monologue, Eubank Jr also opened up about the agony of losing his brother, Sebastian, following a heart attack in Dubai in 2021. 'I have a 31-year-old brother who is buried in the desert in Dubai; that is pain,' Jr explained. 'I have his son, three years old, he asks why can't I see my daddy? Why can't he take me to school? That is pain. 'My own father, a man I idolised for my entire life, and he doesn't speak to me. We haven't spoken for years and he thinks I'm a disgrace. These things are what pain is to me.' All the same, he was filmed arriving with his son on Saturday night and exclusively told Mail Sport at the venue: 'I back my son no matter what. The egg thing he did? Very disappointed, but I forgave him instantly. And now, he always has to understand you always have to preach that this is not the way we behave as standardbearers, as noblemen.'

Norfolk's Keyshawn Davis wins WBO Lightweight world championship with fourth-round knockout
Norfolk native. Olympian. World boxing champion. All those now apply to Keyshawn Davis after the 25-year-old boxing phenom knocked out Denys Berinchyk in the fourth round to win the World Boxing Organization Lightweight world championship in a battle of unbeaten fighters Friday night at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Davis (13-0) already owned WBO Intercontinental, WBC US and IBF Intercontinental lightweight titles, but he was fighting for a major title for the first time after 12 victories (with eight knockouts) to start his pro boxing career. Berinchyk (19-1 with nine knockouts), a 36-year-old Ukrainian, was making his first title defense after he upset Emanuel Navarrete, a three-division world champ, for the vacant WBO Lightweight world title last May. 'It was an amazing feeling. Right before I knocked him out, I was hearing the crowd saying, 'Norfolk! Norfolk! Norfolk!'' Davis said in a post-fight interview in the ring. 'I was like, 'I've got to knock him out now!' Boom!' 'Hey, Norfolk, Virginia, you got a world champion!' Davis, 5 feet 8 and 134.2 pounds, was a heavy favorite and had the majority of the sellout crowd of 4,979 behind him. The fighters started slowly, with only a combined 13 punches landing in the first two rounds. But Davis found his rhythm in the third round and landed a left hook to the body that sent Berinchyk kneeling to the canvas. Then, at 1:45 in the fourth round David landed a combination to the body that sent Berinchyk down again, and this time he didn't get up. Davis waved his arms as the referee counted Berinchyk out. Earlier Friday, on the Davis-Berinchyk undercard, Keon Davis — Keyshawn's younger brother — defeated Ira Johnson.
