WRO India National Championship kicks off Sept 5
Hyderabad, July 24 (UNI): The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) India National Championship 2025 is set to take place on September 5 and 6 at the state-of-the-art GMR Arena, located within GMR Aerocity Hyderabad.
GMR Aerocity has come on board as the Platinum Sponsor of this prestigious event, which will bring together the country's brightest young minds in robotics, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. (GHIAL) announced in a press release today.
Serving as the national finale of the WRO India 2025 season, the championship—centered around the theme 'The Future of Robots'—will identify top-performing teams that will go on to represent India at the WRO International Championship in Singapore.
As the World Robot Olympiad marks its 19th year on the global stage, WRO India 2025 invites students aged 8 to 19 to participate in this distinguished competition. With its futuristic theme, the event offers a platform for young innovators to engage with advanced robotics and cutting-edge technologies.
Participants will be challenged to conceptualize, design, and program autonomous robotic solutions that tackle real-world problems, enhance quality of life, and drive innovation across various industries.
The competition is structured to promote analytical thinking, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving, giving students invaluable hands-on experience in STEM fields while encouraging them to contribute to a technologically advanced future.
