R-Truth's stunning WWE return leaves fans and stars emotional at Money in the Bank 2025

In one of the most talked-about moments from WWE Money in the Bank 2025, R-Truth made a shock return to the company - just days after announcing his departure. The 53-year-old veteran, now being introduced as Ron Killings, stormed the ring during the main event, attacking John Cena and helping Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso claim victory. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now His return came less than a week after he revealed via social media that WWE would not be renewing his contract. The announcement stunned the wrestling world, sparking an outpouring of support from fellow stars and fans. 'We Want Truth' chants rang out at WWE Raw, SmackDown, and NXT episodes throughout the week, creating a groundswell of emotion. Main event drama steals the show The dramatic interference happened just as Cena was about to pin Rhodes. Out of nowhere, Killings appeared and speared Cena, then clocked him with the title belt. The distraction allowed Rhodes to pin the 16-time world champion. The moment not only shifted the match's outcome but also WWE's storyline momentum. Following the event, new merchandise bearing the name 'Ron Killings' appeared on WWE Shop, hinting at a possible character change. Truth, best known for his comedic timing and charisma, now seems poised for a more serious arc. Money in the Bank Post-Show: June 7, 2025 At the post-show press conference, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H remained vague, simply responding, 'All part of the show,' when asked about Truth's release and return. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes was more candid, telling fans, 'You guys wanted Truth. It's our job to give you what you want.' Backstage emotion and industry speculation RAW interviewer Cathy Kelley got visibly emotional backstage, reflecting on Truth's comeback. 'Since we thought we'd never see him again, this return reminded us why we love this. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now I speak for the entire WWE Universe when I say, welcome back, Truth,' she said. Industry insiders like PWInsider report that WWE and Killings reached a new deal within 72 hours of the PLE. Some insiders even claim that other promotions, including TNA, were eyeing him for a return. Whether Truth continues as a heel or retains elements of his beloved comedic persona remains to be seen. What's certain is that WWE appears to be positioning him for something different this time, perhaps even a character reinvention. Going by his real name, Ron Killings, hints at a more grounded, serious direction that longtime fans haven't seen in years. The fact that WWE moved swiftly to produce merchandise and bring him back at such a high-profile event suggests a long-term creative investment. Fans online have already speculated about potential storylines, including a possible feud with Cena or even a Money in the Bank cash-in assist. Truth's comeback also reflects a growing trend in WWE to listen and react to fan sentiment. Much like recent pivots involving LA Knight and Becky Lynch, the decision to bring back Truth shows that audience reaction can still move the creative needle - even in a scripted business. For now, one thing is clear: the WWE Universe rallied behind him, and the company responded. Ron Killings is back, and perhaps with more purpose than ever before. Also Read:

Dominik Mysterio and Judgment Day Pay Tribute To Carlito On RAW After WWE Release

The Judgment Day paid tribute to their soon-to-be former stablemate, Carlito. In about two weeks, Carlito will depart WWE as the company opted not to renew his existing contract. In the meantime, his Judgment Day stablemates paid tribute to him on this week's episode of WWE Raw. Advertisement While appearing in a backstage segment inside the Judgment Day clubhouse, Dominik Mysterio sported a 'That's Not Cool' t-shirt, which is still listed on WWE Shop. Upon closer inspection, fans also noticed that the television, on which Carlito frequently played the WWE 2K25 video game through his PS5, was turned off. Carlito became an official member of the Judgment Day last year, just months after he turned on the Latino World Order. Since then, he has mainly been seen aiding his Judgement Day stablemates to victory, in addition to eating apples and playing WWE 2K25 backstage. His last WWE match came on the April 18 episode of WWE SmackDown in which he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Advertisement One day before news of his imminent exit emerged, Carlito defeated Ray Gonzalez for the WWC Puerto Rico Championship at the World Wrestling Council, a promotion co-owned by his father Carlos Colon. Carlito, 46, officially returned to WWE in 2023, beginning with an appearance at the Backlash premium live event. Months later, he resurfaced by helping the LWO at Fastlane. Karrion Kross Reveals Fan Feedback Led To Change At WWE Live Events

WWE is listening to Karrion Kross fans. Karrion Kross has seen a surge in popularity in recent months, including a spike in his merchandise sales. One of Kross's shirts reportedly reached best seller status, and WWEShop sold out of his merchandise at one point. Advertisement Kross's shirts have been restocked, and now it appears that fans being vocal about wanting to see him on WWE TV led to another big change. Kross announced that due to the support, WWE will now sell his merchandise at WWE live events instead of just relying on online sales. 'They heard you, loud and clear,' Kross said. Kross said he met fans who wanted his shirts, so he directed them to the WWE Shop website. The fans wanted the shirt on the spot, and it's something Kross related to. He went to someone in WWE and asked how they could solve this problem, and he got a relatively quick answer. Fans can finally get Karrion Kross merch in person at WWE live events 'Moving forward, from my understanding, starting this Monday night at RAW, my shirts will be available in the arena. So, it feels awesome, I want to say thank you to everybody, you guys made that happen completely. I don't think I would've had a case [without you]. They're doing alright online, so they see you and they hear you, and I think it's important to check in with people sometimes and tell them that.' Advertisement Kross guessed that he was still in NXT the last time he had merch available at a live event. He ended the video by encouraging fans to watch Saturday Night's Main Event and said he'll see fans on Monday. If you can't make it to an upcoming WWE live event, Karrion Kross merchandise is still available on WWEShop now. Karrion Kross Dethrones John Cena & Penta as WWE's Top Apparel Seller

Fort Worth, TEXAS - APRIL 25: John Cena addresses the crowd during SmackDown at Dickies Arena on ... More April 25, 2025 in Fort Worth, Texas. (Photo by Eric Johnson/WWE via Getty Images) John Cena has been amazing on his farewell tour, and Penta remains hot four months after he made his WWE debut. Fans have responded, pushing Cena's St. Louis Blues-inspired T-shirt from WWE Backlash and Penta's signature mask to the top of the best-selling apparel list on WWE Shop. However, neither item is occupying the top spot. That distinction belongs to the suddenly red-hot Karrion Kross whose 'String Them Up' t-shirt is currently in the No. 1 spot on WWE's Top-Seller apparel list. When you consider how Kross has helped to engineer this run up the ladder and into the consciousness of WWE fans, it's pretty impressive. After WrestleMania 41, Kross cut a soon-to-be-iconic, half-shoot interview with Sam Roberts. He targeted AJ Styles, who had just put over Logan Paul in one of the less-spirited matches of the two-day premium live event. In case you missed it, it's here. Pay close attention to the t-shirt he's wearing. Yep, it's the one that is the top-seller on WWE Shop. Kross' rage against the machine was brilliant because, while arguing against Paul's path to success with WWE and taking a 'shortcut,' the often-ignored Superstar is using social media to air his gripes and to make himself 'undeniable.' In the promo, Kross mentions some advice he got from Goldberg. The wrestling icon told Kross to be a good soldier. Clearly, Kross thinks that plan has blown up in his face and he's ready to do things his way. Rarely will you see a WWE Superstar do a better job at playing a role in their own rise. Did WWE give permission and an indirect platform for Kross to 'go rogue?' Maybe, but who cares. All that matters is the performance, and Kross is in the midst of weaving a masterpiece of self-promotion. He is playing the game the new school way. Look at the feature he got a week ago with his wife Scarlett by his side. Killer Kross is coming back and droves of fans are here for it–or at least on their way. Many of them figure to be wearing his t-shirt when they arrive.
