Olivia Attwood addresses Loose Women 'rift' as she breaks silence on rumours
Loose Women panellist and former Love Island star Olivia Attwood has responded to recent reports which claimed she had caused a 'backstage rift' for being a 'diva' on the ITV daytime show. Olivia Attwood has broken her silence amid speculations of a 'backstage rift' on popular ITV daytime show Loose Women. The former Love Island star had previously been accused of acting like a 'diva'. The 33-year-old has now hit back at the rumours, which suggest there's any trouble bubbling under the surface among the panellists or backstage staff members. The allegations, which surfaced last month, suggested Olivia brought her personal "glam squad" to the set, rather than allowing the ITV in-house styling team to work with her. A source told OK! magazine that the reality TV sensation was left baffled by the rumours, which has led Olivia to now clear the air herself. Speaking on her So Wrong It's Right podcast, she refuted any bad blood with the Loose Women team, saying: "There is no shade at Loose Women, not that I am involved in any way." She continued to confront the idea about her choice to hire her own glam team had ruffled feathers with her co-stars saying: "It is just not true. If it is true and they are all just doing a really good job of like lying to me, it makes no sense because I am paying my own team to come in, which means the other women get more time in the glam room, so it would make no sense to have an issue with me having my one glam team. "Plus, quite a few of the women do have their own teams. I've been reassured by all the other women they do not care. It is not something they think about or they talk about. "If there was tea, if there was shade, 100% you would know, because I just actually cannot help myself." It comes after fellow Loose Women panellist Kaye Adams also recently responded to the allegations, telling Emily Dean on her Walking The Dog podcast: "We have never, ever, fallen out about make-up artists... or wardrobe... or dressing rooms.. "We probably do have fall-outs on particular issues, but we do not have fallouts on, you know, wardrobe, make-up, boyfriends – you know, all of those tropes that just get rolled out constantly." Kaye also used the opportunity to highlight the seemingly biased media treatment compared to male peers. She speculated on the dynamic behind the curtain at programmes like Match Of The Day. Since August 2023, Olivia has been a regular face on Loose Women, and Kaye noted her "lot younger" age difference with the rest of the co-stars, enjoying the rapport she has with the fellow ladies on the panel. Olivia herself spoke positively about joining the team, commenting previously: "I get on with all of them really well, and some of them in particular I've become really friendly with. You never know what it's going to be like joining a new workplace, it's like being the new kid on the block."

Olivia Attwood has responded to recent reports which claimed she had caused a 'backstage rift' at Loose Women after she was accused of being a 'diva' for bringing her own glam team Former Love Island favourite Olivia Attwood has hit back at rumours suggesting there's trouble brewing on the Loose Women panel. The allegations, which surfaced last month, painted Olivia, 33, as a "diva" for reportedly bringing her personal "glam squad" to the set, rather than opting for ITV's in-house styling team. Another Loose Women panellist, Kaye Adams, recently responded tot he allegations, telling Emily Dean on her Walking The Dog podcast: "We have never, ever, fallen out about make-up artists... or wardrobe... or dressing rooms.. "We probably do have fall-outs on particular issues, but we do not have fallouts on, you know, wardrobe, make-up, boyfriends – you know, all of those tropes that just get rolled out constantly." Loose Women star Kaye Adams reveals warning sign that shows a panellist 'won't last' on the show
Loose Women star and original panellist Kaye Adams has revealed the one warning sign that shows a new face "won't last" on the popular daytime chat show. In the past 25 years, the Loose Women panel has seen nearly 70 presenters take a seat at the iconic desk. However, despite the longevity of the original "fab four" - comprised of Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore, Karren Brady, and Kaye Adams - there's one telltale sign that a new presenter might not stick around for long, according to Kaye. During her chat on Emily Dean's Walking The Dog podcast, Kaye, who has had two lengthy stints on the show, from 1999 to 2006 and from 2013 to the present, stressed the importance of openness for those on the panel. She admitted that she isn't a natural "oversharer," but suggested that anyone joining the show with intentions of keeping their personal life under wraps is unlikely to be asked back. Kaye said: "Over the years, and obviously it's been a long time, and people have come in and come out, and some people have stayed the course, and other people have been [on the show] for a shorter time. "But there have been a few sort of names who have come in, and they sit down and say 'I can't talk about this, and I can't talk about that...' And the rest of us are probably sitting there thinking, ''Well, you're not going to last!'" Furthermore, she pointed out that panellists who hold strong opinions privately but shy away from expressing them on air don't mesh well with the ethos of Loose Women, reports Devon Live. Kaye, who became a mother relatively late in life, concedes that she may have been a bit too candid about certain matters: "I had Charley, my first daughter, when I was 39. And I did find the transition quite tough. "Having spent most of my adult life doing exactly what I wanted, whenever I wanted, suddenly to be responsible for this little baby, I felt pinned down." Kaye admits that after publicly acknowledging these feelings, it was challenging when her daughter stumbled upon the quote years later and questioned her about it: "I did regret that for a while," she confessed: "But it was the truth". Now that Kaye's daughter is 22, that's no longer a problem, she added. However, it led to an uncomfortable discussion when she was eight. Currently, Kaye faces a different issue. Speaking on Loose Women last Summer, she disclosed: "Bonnie has gone off to Edinburgh University - she won't thank me for saying that. "Charley is now working so she's away as well. Second one out the house is tough, I have to say I am finding it difficult. The place is too tidy, we've got too much milk in the fridge - I don't know how we're going to stop the milk order."

Loose Women star reveals tell-take sign someone 'won't last' on ITV show
Over the last quarter of a century, some 70 hosts have joined the Loose Women panel. Despite the longevity of the original "fab four" - Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore, Karren Brady, and Kaye Adams - Kaye has hinted at a tell-tale sign that a new presenter might not stick around for long. During her chat on Emily Dean's Walking The Dog podcast, Kaye, who has been a staple on the show during two stints from 1999 to 2006 and from 2013 onwards, emphasised the necessity for Loose Women presenters to be candid. She confessed that although she isn't a natural "oversharer," anyone joining the show with intentions of keeping their lives under wraps is unlikely to be asked back. (Image: ITV) Kaye remarked: "Over the years, and obviously it's been a long time, and people have come in and come out, and some people have stayed the course, and other people have been [on the show] for a shorter time. "But there have been a few sort of names who have come in, and they sit down and say 'I can't talk about this, and I can't talk about that...' And the rest of us are probably sitting there thinking: ''Well, you're not going to last!'" Furthermore, she pointed out that panellists who hold back their true opinions for the sake of privacy don't mesh well with the Loose Women style. (Image: ITV) However Kaye, who became a mother comparatively late in life, reveals she might have been a bit too outspoken on certain matters: "I had Charley, my first daughter, when I was 39. And I did find the transition quite tough. "Having spent most of my adult life doing exactly what I wanted, whenever I wanted, suddenly to be responsible for this little baby, I felt pinned down." Kaye reflects on an instance where her frankness came back to haunt her when her daughter stumbled upon her past remarks: "I did regret that for a while," she says, adding, "But it was the truth." (Image: Daily Record) Now that her daughter is a 22 year old adult, Kaye finds such revelations less problematic. Yet, it didn't stop cringing conversations happening when her child was eight. These days, Kaye faces a different dilemma entirely. While chatting on Loose Women last Summer, she disclosed: "Bonnie has gone off to Edinburgh University - she won't thank me for saying that. "Charley is now working so she's away as well. Second one out the house is tough, I have to say I am finding it difficult. The place is too tidy, we've got too much milk in the fridge - I don't know how we're going to stop the milk order."
