SEOUL, My 10 — Blackpink's Rosé has released her highly anticipated song 'Messy' for the upcoming film F1: The Movie yesterday. The track, launched by Warner Music Korea, is now available on YouTube and various streaming platforms. The singer took to Instagram to share her excitement. 'So this is my first time working on a movie soundtrack, and I am so extremely honored and excited beyond imagination to be a part of this incredible movie. I hope you all love it, live it, dream it until @f1movie comes out JUNE 27,' she posted. Fans will be happy to note that Rosé will also be part of the star-studded soundtrack for F1: The Movie, set to premiere June 27. The film stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a retired Formula One driver, and Damson Idris as rookie racer Joshua Pearce. Together, they aim to revive a struggling Formula One team. F1: The Movie will also feature Formula One legend Lewis Hamilton as a producer, with Joseph Kosinski directing. 'Messy' will also feature on F1: The Album, the official soundtrack, also dropping on June 27. The album includes 17 tracks from artists like Ed Sheeran, Peggy Gou, Don Toliver, and more.

K-pop sensation lends her voice to the soundtrack of 'F1: The Movie,' joining a lineup of international artists including Ed Sheeran and Peggy Gou Rose of Blackpink has returned to the music scene with an original track for the upcoming film "F1: The Movie." Warner Music Korea announced that Rose released the song 'Messy' on Friday as part of the film's soundtrack. The film is scheduled to premiere next month. "F1: The Movie" follows veteran driver Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, as he teams up with rookie racer Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris) to lead a struggling Formula 1 team back to victory. The music video features scenes of Rose walking along an empty road, as well as footage from the film. 'Messy' will also be included in the film's official soundtrack album, "F1: The Album," which will be released on June 27. The album will feature 17 tracks from diverse global artists including Peggy Gou, Ed Sheeran and Don Toliver.

Twice drops Coldplay collaboration single

Twice has added Korean-language parts to Coldplay single 'We Pray,' and put it out as a single, according to Warner Music Korea. The nonet opened the British band's Korea concert on Wednesday with a medley of hit songs as a special guest and sang together the single with the band, inserting lyrics in Korean. The original song is part of the band's tenth studio album 'Moon Music' and the 'Twice Version' was published officially online on Friday. '(The single) is a meaningful song that encourages overcoming difficulties and sings of peace and hope. It is an honor to collaborate (with Coldplay) and means more to us to be able to sing it in Korean,' said Twice's members.

Coldplay pop-up store to open alongside concerts

Part of proceeds will be donated to local non-profit organization that supports hearing-impaired Britpop band Coldplay is set to offer fans a range of special experiences with its highly anticipated concerts in Korea and a dedicated pop-up store. According to Warner Music Korea, the 'Coldplay Moon Music Seoul Pop-up' will run from April 10 to 27 at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido. The pop-up celebrates Coldplay's long-awaited return to Korea — eight years after its first concert in the country in 2017 — and the release of the band's latest album "Moon Music,' which dropped in October. Official merchandise will be sold at the pop-up, including limited-edition T-shirts and tour posters exclusive to the event, as well as the album itself. Korea's largest music streaming platform Melon is also participating in the pop-up store, offering a listening experience zone and a photo wall, among other interactive events. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to "The Snail of Love," a local non-profit organization that supports hearing-impaired individuals with surgery costs. Coldplay will perform six shows at Goyang Sports Complex -- April 16, 18, 19, 22, 24, and 25. K-pop group Twice will join as a special guest on all six dates. Singer-songwriter Hanroro will appear April 24 and 25, while Elyanna will perform April 16, 18, 19, and 22. Advance reservations for the 18-day pop-up store can be made via the link in Warner Music Korea's Instagram bio.
