Jeep India has announced that the Wrangler Willys '41 Special Edition has sold out. This special edition of the Wrangler was launched on May 5, 2025. The Wrangler Willys combined Jeep's 4x4 capabilities with exclusive styling touches. The limited-run SUV, introduced as a tribute to Jeep's rich heritage, witnessed overwhelming enthusiasm. Just 30 units of the Wrangler Willys '41 Special Edition were designated for the Indian Priyesh, Business Head & Director – Automotive Brands at Jeep India, expressed his gratitude, "We are humbled and grateful for the enthusiastic response to the Wrangler Willys Limited Edition. Drawing inspiration from the original Willys Jeep used during World War II, the Wrangler Willys '41 Special Edition stands out with a unique '1941 Military Green' paint and a distinctive hood decal—both making their debut in India and reserved exclusively for this limited-run the '41 Edition remains unchanged, powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 270hp and 400Nm of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and features a full-time 4x4 on the Rubicon variant, this special edition comes equipped with a host of premium and functional additions such as powered side steps, all-weather floor mats, grab handles for both front and rear passengers, and digital video recorders at the front and rear. Buyers can also opt for an adventure pack that includes a roof carrier with integrated side steps and a Sunrider roof. The Willys '41 Special Edition is priced at Rs 1.51 lakh above the standard Rubicon, while the optional adventure pack adds another Rs 4.56 to Auto Today Magazine

The special edition is positioned as a commemorative version marking Jeep's historical origins. This version comes equipped with a range of additional features compared to the standard model. These include power side steps, grab handles, custom floor mats, and front and rear dash cameras. A set of optional accessories—including a Sunrider rooftop, side ladder, and roof carrier—can be added at an extra cost. According to Jeep India, the Wrangler Willys '41 edition will be sold at a premium of ₹1.51 lakh over the regular Rubicon variant. The optional accessories pack is available for an additional ₹4.56 lakh, and can only be purchased with the Willys '41 model. Jeep has confirmed that this model will be available through its dealership network across India for a limited period. This launch introduces a new exterior colour option and adds functional accessories that are not part of the standard variant. No changes to the powertrain or off-road specifications have been announced as part of this edition. The Willys '41 edition follows Jeep's pattern of releasing limited-run variants that reference earlier vehicle generations. The new Wrangler Willys '41 special edition is offered in a new 41 Green colour option and features a 1941 hood decal and military-inspired aesthetics. This launch also marks the debut of the 41 Green Paint Option in the Indian market for the first time. Jeep says this design pays homage to Jeep's wartime legacy while embracing the comfort and innovation expected of a modern-day icon. Further, the Willys '41 Special Edition comes packed with both premium and practical features like power-operated side steps, all-weather floor mats, grab handles for both front and rear passengers, and digital video recorders at the front and back. Jeep's also throwing in an optional adventure pack that adds a roof carrier with built-in side steps and a Sunrider roof. In terms of features, the Wrangler Willys 41 edition gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Jeep's new Uconnect 5 OS, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, semi-digital cluster, automatic climate control, off-roading camera with washer, 12-way powered front seats, automatic headlamps and much more. Safety-wise, it gets electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic roll mitigation, a tyre pressure monitor, rear parking sensors and ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control with stop and go, front collision warning with emergency braking assist and more. Mechanically, the Wrangler Willys edition is powered by the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which puts out 270 hp of power and 400 nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and it also gets Jeep's Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system. It also gets a Rock mode for the Selec-Trac system, locking front and rear differentials, a front sway bar that's able to be electronically disconnected, and a 240 Amp alternator.
