Nebraska offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka named to Wuerffel Trophy Watch List
Nebraska football offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka has been named to the Wuerffel Trophy Watch List. The announcement was made on social media Thursday afternoon. Prochazka has been a mainstay for the program ever since his arrival. Injuries have hampered his career in Lincoln, however, and 2024 was an unfortunate reminder. He sustained an injury during fall camp and missed the entirety of the season. His best year in terms of production came in 2023. He returned from injury and was able to start the final 10 games of the season. Now, he is looking to contribute to an offensive line that has seen an increase in depth over the last year. This nomination is certainly a reminder of what Prochazka can do off the field as well. He has been named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll eight times, and was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team in 2023 and 2024. In addition to being a contributor on the field, he is a role model off it.
