Nebraska offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka named to Wuerffel Trophy Watch List
Prochazka has been a mainstay for the program ever since his arrival. Injuries have hampered his career in Lincoln, however, and 2024 was an unfortunate reminder. He sustained an injury during fall camp and missed the entirety of the season.
His best year in terms of production came in 2023. He returned from injury and was able to start the final 10 games of the season. Now, he is looking to contribute to an offensive line that has seen an increase in depth over the last year.
This nomination is certainly a reminder of what Prochazka can do off the field as well. He has been named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll eight times, and was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team in 2023 and 2024. In addition to being a contributor on the field, he is a role model off it.

Where does CBS Sports rank the Auburn Tigers ahead of 2025 college football season?
Auburn football has the tools to have its best season under head coach Hugh Freeze, but it still has a mountain to climb to reach the top of the college football world. CBS Sports is the latest outlet to give Auburn confidence heading into the 2025 season while still leaving room for improvement. In its preseason ranking of all 136 teams, Auburn checks in at No. 32, being one of 12 SEC teams ranked in CBS' top 40. Auburn's journey to College Football Playoff consideration will be challenging as it will face eight teams in CBS Sports' top 50 during the 2025 season. The Tigers will kick off the season on Friday, Aug. 29, in Waco, Texas, by battling the Baylor Bears in a primetime showdown. The Bears, like Auburn, are just outside of the top-25 by checking in at No. 26. After hosting Ball State and South Alabama in weeks two and three, Auburn will then go on a run of playing four-straight top-30 squads in Oklahoma (No. 24), Texas A&M (No. 18), Georgia (No. 5) and Missouri (No. 28), two of those games will be on the road. The Tigers will then face No. 43 Arkansas on the road before turning its attention to No. 57 Kentucky and No. 47 Vanderbilt as the calendar turns to November. Auburn will then end its 2025 regular season at home against No. 8 Alabama. Auburn will look to improve upon last season's 5-7 record and will rely heavily on its talented offensive stars and defensive players who will create havoc for the opposition. Several players to look for this season will be Eric Singleton and Cam Coleman, who were recently included on the Biletnikoff Award watchlist. Those two, as well as EDGE rusher Keldric Faulk, were also named in Bruce Feldman's "freaks list" ahead of the year. Auburn basketball reveals jersey numbers for new-look roster
Auburn basketball experienced a complete roster overhaul during the offseason as many of its stars graduated or found other opportunities through the transfer portal. The Tigers will have a fresh starting lineup this season, as last season's Final Four starters have departed from the program. Bruce Pearl will work to replace the production of graduating stars, such as forward Johni Broome, sharp-shooting Miles Kelly, and floor general Denver Jones. However, Auburn found success within the transfer portal by landing several talented frontcourt additions, such as Mississippi State forward Keshawn Murphy and UCF forward Keyshawn Hall. Pearl also dipped into junior college and the international circuit to fill out his roster by landing Abdul Bashir from Casper College, and two players with center-esque size in Emeka Opurum and Filip Jovic. Despite adding many new names, Auburn will have one key player from last season's Final Four squad in Tahaad Pettiford. As a freshman, Pettiford averaged 11.6 points per game with 3.0 assists and 2.2 rebounds while serving as the backup point guard. He is projected to lead the Tigers as the floor general this season.
