Sana'a – Saba: Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Ra'i extended on Friday Eid al-Adha congratulations to several Arab and Islamic parliamentary counterparts, including those in Algeria, Tunisia, Iraq, Oman, Lebanon, Palestine, Iran, Indonesia, and Malaysia. His well wishes were extended to: Ibrahim Boughali of Algeria, Ibrahim Bouderbala of Tunisia, Dr. Mahmoud al-Mashhadani of Iraq, Khalid bin Hilal al-Ma'awali of Oman, Nabih Berri of Lebanon , Rawhi Fattouh of Palestine, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf of Iran, Puan Maharani of Indonesia, and Tan Sri Dato' Johari bin Abdul of Malaysia. In his cables, al-Ra'i expressed well wishes and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and unifying Arab and Islamic efforts. He called for a unified stance against Zionist arrogance in the region, advocating for regional security and stability. He reiterated the need for stronger Arab solidarity to support the Palestinian cause, end the Zionist occupation's attacks, and activate the boycott and criminalization of normalization with the Zionist entity. Sana'a - Saba: Parliament speaker Yahya al-Ra'i on Saturday visited the summer course activities at Imam Zaid bin Ali Center at the September 26 School in Altahrir district in the capital Sana'a. Accompanied by Secretary-General of the Council, Abdullah al Qasimi and Assistant Secretary-General Abdulrahman al-Mansour, al-Ra'i reviewed the implementation of various activities and programs and the students' engagement. They listened to creative presentations by students from the Imam Zaid, the martyr Zaid Ali Musleh (at Al-Kibsi Mosque), and Imam al-Hadi centers. The Speaker emphasized the importance of these summer activities in protecting youth from the dangers of "soft war" by providing awareness and educational programs to counter harmful cultures and ideas that aim to undermine the nation's faith identity and Quranic culture. He highlighted the role of summer schools in developing students' knowledge and skills, teaching the Holy Quran and its sciences, and refining talents. He stressed the need to unite efforts to support the success of these courses and programs aimed at building a conscious generation for Yemen's present and future. Al-Ra'i also listened to those in charge of the courses explain the educational programs, skill-based activities, and sports offered to students. He praised the high level of attendance and engagement in the various summer course activities, reflecting the awareness of families and society regarding the importance of preparing a generation capable of navigating current challenges, and commended the parents' commitment to providing their children with beneficial knowledge under the slogan "science and jihad". Parliament speaker honors participants in parliamentary oversight training courses

Sana'a - Saba: Speaker of Parliament Yahya al-Ra'i has stressed the importance of strengthening national unity in confronting the conspiracies and attacks against Yemen due to its supportive stance towards the Palestinian cause. At the conclusion of the training courses on parliamentary oversight and the importance of legislation in parliamentary life on Tuesday, al-Ra'i stressed the importance of redoubling efforts to achieve success in all areas and confront all challenges through continuous modernization and development to raise the level of performance in various areas of work and production. He pointed out the importance of organizing such specialized, qualitative courses, which help develop and modernize the level of performance in line with legislative and oversight work. al-Ra'i praised the efforts of the General Secretariat in organizing such courses aimed at enhancing the performance of the Council's cadres and employees and the secretariat of the Council's standing committees, as well as the efforts of the course trainers and their participation in their implementation. The training courses organized by the General Secretariat of the Council over the past period aimed to introduce 60 male and female trainees from the Council's Committees, Sessions, and Members' Affairs departments to the concepts of legislation and parliamentary oversight, as well as parliamentary duties, powers, foundations, and rules related to legislative and oversight life, and the organization of political, economic, and social life. The participants in the courses gained knowledge about parliamentary oversight and draft laws, both in terms of form and content, during the practical phase within Parliament, as well as the drafting phase, cooperation between constitutional authorities, and matters related to proposing and discussing draft laws. The courses also focused on the optimal methods of legal drafting that must be available to those working in drafting laws. For his part, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Council, Abdulrahman al-Mansour, expressed his thanks to the Speaker of the Council for his sponsorship and encouragement of such qualitative training courses, given their importance in practical reality and their contribution to improving the level of performance in parliamentary work in the legislative and oversight fields. Trainer Naaman al-Masoudi discussed the importance of the courses and model projects presented by the participants during the training period. The speech delivered by Mohammed al-Wadaei, on behalf of the course participants, praised the Council Chairman and the Council's General Secretariat for their commitment to holding such training courses. At the conclusion, the Council Chairman honored the participants in the training courses with certificates of appreciation, wishing them success in implementing the outcomes of the specialized courses into their practical work.
