The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway passes through Ghaziabad, specifically connecting Akshardham to Loni, and then Loni to Khekra. A small portion of the expressway, a 90-meter stretch of service road, is delayed due to a land dispute in Ghaziabad's Mandola village. This dispute involves a house built on a 1,600 sqm plot that has been in litigation for over 25 years.
An official from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) said that the two packages of the Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun economic corridor, the 14.75 km Akshardham (Delhi) to UP Border near Loni and 16.8km UP Gate Loni to Khekra near Eastern Peripheral Expressway, are 99% ready except for a path near Mandola, which is under litigation.
